The CT Age Well Collaborative, a project supported by CT Community Care, is bringing to light what we’ve suspected for a while…vibrant communities and healthy aging go hand in hand. The Collaborative is a partnership of public and private organizations, community groups and philanthropic aging and community leaders with a shared vision of creating an Age-Friendly Connecticut with communities throughout the state that are great places to grow up and grow old. Recently, CCC President Julia Evans Starr along with other members of the Collaborative’s Steering Committee started the age-friendly conversation by letting communities know about the newly released CT Healthy Aging Data Report.
