David Allen Edmonds, or Herr Eds, was my high school German teacher for four years. He was one of my favorite teachers and probably the main reason why I stuck with German for so long. He has always been passionate about teaching and literature. After he retired, he published a book titled Personal Pronouns, which is available for purchase online or in a few local Akron-area book stores. We talk about what it was like when he started teaching compared to when he retired and how he never lost sight of working on his own book.
