Stephen talks about how God welcomes us back when we’ve strayed, and invites us to the party when others come home, looking at the perspectives of both the younger and older brothers. Jesus loves the lost and humbles the self-righteous.

This week, Missy Schrader shares her story about identity and finding approval from other people. Missy found her identity in approval from her parents, classmates, boyfriend, husband, and her kids all her life. She talks about how it was Jesus’ performance on the cross that makes her valuable and approved, not her own performance. She encourages us to admit that we need help and to admit our sin, then Jesus will reveal to us our identity in Him.

This week, Sophie Pott shares her story about anxiety. She talks about Philippians 4:6-7 and how God has used these verses to help her with anxiety. Sophie talks through what prayer, supplication & thanksgiving are, and how through these three things, God can give us peace. She also reminds us that even when you’re not anxious, God’s still there.

This week, Drew Reynolds tells his story about what God has done in his life. He talks about cleanliness and how that is the major theme of his story! Drew talks about how he dealt with anger and impure thoughts, and how he was living a double life as he was dead and unclean on the inside, but putting on a nice Christian act on the outside. He encourages us to search our hearts and ask Jesus to cleanse us from the inside out.

We looked at Matthew 11:25-30 where Jesus says “come to me, and I will give you rest.” Dallas challenged us to look at our lives and if we are walking alongside Jesus, maybe meaning resting in Him by sitting in silence, solitude and stillness.
