A group of prominent physicians has sent a letter to the Knesset  Constitution, Law and Justice Committee warning against the repercussions of changes to the justice system on public health.

The doctors argued in the letter that the proposed judicial overhaul would “weaken the gatekeepers who protect public health,”

KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Professor Nadav Davidovitch, head of the School of Public Health at Ben-Gurion University, one of the initiators of the letter, and asked him what prompted the move.
