Today we see an extension of the covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. David is the shepherd King and God talks to him about the covenant in 2 Samuel 7. This is once again a covenant that is very God heavy on the doing. There are things that God will do even without faithfulness from David or the people. Take a listen
