Welcome to the Learn Pharmacy Podcast.  This week on the podcast we’ll be taking a look at the basics of the coagulation cascade and the drug target of the common anticoagulant Warfarin

If you’re a student pursuing a medical degree of any kind I’m betting you’ve been tormented by… I mean to say… impressed by the great complexity of the coagulation cascade.  You’ll certainly agree the topic is ubiquitous to medical school, pa school, pharmacy school, and nursing. While important, many students find the subject quite daunting.  My goal is to break the pharmacology down to the basics, and provide you with the essential information you would need for tests like the NAPLEX, NCLEX, USMLE, etc. Each section will have a brief quiz to help you practice active recall information.  For me, it’s easier to learn when we first look at where we want to end.

The purpose of this podcast is to help you "effortlessly" reinforce important concepts for your practice.  Feel free to reach out with suggestions for future episodes.  Follow us on instagram @pharmasaurus.rx for free weekly quizzes.
