Tanner Smith is a Worship Leader and the School of Ministry Director at Calvary Church in Houston, Texas.

I drove down to Houston and met up with Tanner in his office at Calvary Church. We drank coffee from Pearland Coffee Roasters and had a conversation about why church is important to him. We talked about his EP Death and Life and the whole process of writing and recording music. Tanner is so encouraging and genuine and really cares for people. He is a husband and father and a surfer.
