(Episode 11) Columbus, Ohio. Chirayu’s story really hit home so I decided to do a round two, but this time with his parents. The Patel’s are hall of fame parents. Barely knowing each other when they were married Mr. and Mrs. Patel battled through Chirayu’s early health conditions, navigated multiple large moves including to America, and hustled until they paid for their kids education. It’s a fantastic story about two parents who gave up everything for the future of their children, and now get to see their kids build on what they achieved. A nice reminder of the sacrifices most of our past relatives made, and what America is all about.
