One night in March of 2004, Brianna Maitland ended her dishwashing shift at the Black Lantern Inn in Montgomery, Vermont, clocked out and left for the night. She took Route 122 towards Sheldon, the city in which she lived, with the intention of waking up the next day for another shift at a second job in St. Alban. She never made it home that night. An abandoned car and what was left inside is the only evidence police have to go off of. Will the loose ends ever be tied up? Most importantly, could she be tied to another missing girl, whose incident happened less than 100 miles away from Brianna’s? I, Shayla, discuss this mysterious missing persons case that remains cold for 16 years.
