Our first guest from the Dominican Republic is filmmaker Ivan Herrera, whose latest film Bantú Mama is making waves on the festival circuit having just closed this year's Third Horizon Film Festival.  Ivan spoke to us about the moment he realised he wanted to be a filmmaker, his transition from commercial to independent projects, and unpacked why Bantú Mama  is an ode to transculturalism.
