Kicking things off as our first official guest of Season 2 is award-winning Kenyan documentary producer, Toni Kamau. We chatted with Toni about growing up in Nairobi and the Sheng slang she picked up there, her approach to uniquely telling the story of renowned Kenyan political activist Boniface Mwangi in festival favorite doc Softie, and our collective experiences realizing that the TV show Friends did not in fact reflect our real lives.
