This week on Soleil Spotlight, we're taking you to Assam, India to hear from award-winning writer and director: Bhaskar Hazarika. Bhaskar made waves with his debut, KOTHANODI, which won the National Award for best Assamese film in 2016, and was also the first film in Assamese to be picked up by Netflix. His latest film AAMIS, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2019, where it was nominated in 5 categories - and left critics, audiences and us eager to hear more from the mind behind it.
