Ensuring women ascend in the workplace, is a profitable proposition for all of us. Tapping into their intuition, smarts and intelligence is a winning commodity at the end of the day. However, according to this study by the National Bureau of Economic Research, close to 80% of women struggle with low self-esteem and shy away from self-advocacy at work. In other words, four in five women may be held back in their career advancement by a lack of confidence and visibility. Andrea Johnson empowers others to take control of their lives and change their future, as a transformational leadership coach. As an adoptive parent, who grew up internationally, navigating mental and physical wellness, she learned that emotional resilience must be earned. Uncovering her own voice became the key to the process that allows her clients to do the same.

Andrea works with ambitious female leaders, founders, community leaders and public officials who feel stifled, and have grown unsatisfied with their current level of impact. She facilitates improved communication and corporate culture in women owned or operated teams. Her passion is equipping female leaders to define a new culture by trusting their own ability to think critically, create imaginatively and lead effectively. She joined me this week to tell me more.
