As Christians, our worth starts at the cross. The Centurion in Luke 7 had a proper evaluation of his worth, to the extent that Jesus marveled at his faith. Jesus is the only One who is worthy. When we acknowledge that we need Jesus, He responds. We cannot appeal to God based on our value because our value is derived from God.
