God has standards. We cannot change what we cannot measure. Therefore, as Christians should know what standards to measure our Christianity by. Without standards, there is no consistency. In scripture, Cain tried to remove the standard rather than change his character. Instead of lowering our standards, we should raise the standard to align our lives with God's standards.
