A study in itself doesn't produce revelation. God gives revelation that comes suddenly and should radically change our lives. Revelation should be followed by discipline and obedience. God uses fellow believers to show us our blind spots. If we want to be used by God, we should be in agreement with what He is doing and be willing to be told and led.
