Morning, Duke and I have been up a few hours already. I’ve started the coffee process, and life is pretty okie dokie.

A couple of months ago, I noticed that my smart watch wasn’t maintaining a charge. I’d have to charge it every other morning. Lately it’s been every morning. I took a look. To replace it, would cost just way too much, so I went to the local mega store, I had to wait for a grocery order to be picked as it was. While there, I grabbed a less than 40 dollar watch.

It doesn’t what I need it to do. It gives me the day, date, and time. While it won’t call the cops if I fall, it will last 10 years on the battery according to the folks that made it. I’m not arguing, and since then, I don’t have to recharge my watch.

The small things make me happy.

While I was out, I snuck into a thrift store, and got a nifty dress. I love the colors and the style. I do however, get to wear my sweaters with it. It has a cleavage flashpoint on it, and I just really don’t want to go there. Sweaters, the fall is approaching, win-win.

I spent last night figuring out a few things, and praying for some others. I really need to focus on making the world a better place, you know. So, today, that’s what I’m working on.

Instead of whining that this that or the next thing is going on. I’m working around the situation. We’ll see how it works. Take care my friends, hugs, gentle ones. -L
