The Bush Deacon–Josh Clayton–Invitations (Josh asks why is it so easy for us to invite people to social events yet we are reluctant to invite the same people to a faith event? He uses an example of a recent Bathurst youth event that took a different approach to invitations and tells of its outstanding success. Each Year 10-12 student was given only a few personal invitation cards that they could use. The result was each participant focused on inviting those they thought would benefit by coming to the event. Josh wonders if we become more intentional about who we invite to share our faith with, such as those who know us well in our social circles who we think would benefit from being part of our faith gatherings like Alpha, we would enjoy greater success and have the joy of more of our mates and friends sharing our faith with us.)
