In 2021, Congress passed the American Rescue Plan, pandemic relief for local governments and small businesses. More than a year later... with the pandemic behind us... that money has long been forgotten. But it's still being used. Steven Malenga from City Journal and the Manhattan Institute says a lot of that money is going to nonexistent governments and pickleball courts among other things, leading to inflation and a possible recession.
