Senator Mitt Romney got into a heated exchange over Social Security with the OMB director this week. The administration continues to double down on the idea that Republicans want to cut Social Security to the frustration of many lawmakers including Senator Romney. Boyd says if lawmakers continue to be dishonest brokers turning non proposals into political slogans we won't get anywhere.
