Alzheimer's is a terrible disease that affects seniors in our country. Through pioneering science and research, treatments are being developed to combat the disease, and we're learning more about it all the time. However, access to treatment, especially new treatments of Alzheimer's, has been continually blocked by contradictory decisions made by different health organizations. How close are we to gaining access to critical treatments for this disease? Jeremy Cunningham is the Public Policy Director for the Utah chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, and joins the show to talk about the situation, and how to provide better care for Alzheimer's patients.
