While President Biden is currently overseas, there is a delegation in Washington from both parties who are working on a deal to raise the debt ceiling. One of the biggest issues has been President Biden's refusal to negotiate on cuts, but instead continue spending as usual. Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma released a video earlier today discussing the ways in which the government dropped the ball on wasteful spending and the debt ceiling.
