President Biden and leaders of Congress have arrived at the White House to discuss the debt ceiling. Divisive rhetoric and an unwillingness to compromise has dominated talk of the debt limit. But Boyd says if we want to move the country forward at this critical juncture, lawmakers should take a page out of a letter sent by George Washington in 1787.
