Six months ago today, Russia invaded Ukraine in an attempt by Vladimir Putin to restore the Soviet Union. Ironically, today also marks Ukraine's independence from the Soviets in 1991. But while the war rages on in the Eastern part of the country, the capital of Kyiv is going back to normal. Children heading to school. People packing into restaurants.
