The beginning of a New Year is often a time when we are thinking about new things and old things. We are considering regrets from the old year and hopes for the New Year. In terms of prayer, we are often asking for forgiveness for failures related to the past year. And we are asking for help with goals for the New Year. As part of our prayer service this morning, rather than a traditional sermon, I want to lead us through a prayerful reflection on Isaiah 43.
