If you've been following for any amount of time, you know that not only have I worked professionally in the field, but I also love some good fictionalized horror! And #From is no exception to that rule! This show is balls-to-the-wall scary, good fun! And it also has a heavy dose of humanity. If you're not interested for the monsters (omg, how can you not be) then you'll be with it for the mysteries, the science (yes, there's that too) and the community.
As in #Lost, #Oz, #TheMatrixReloaded and Revolutions, #Claws, #TheBestMan and anything else he's in, he just knows how to create a great, relatable yet intense performance.
Along with that, the rest of the cast also has a fantastic on-screen chemistry and they're in sync, which makes for a series that anyone would be hungry for! (Literally - I finished the 10 episodes so fast, I kept opening and closing the show's page like a refrigerator door, hoping more would appear out of thin air. Much like the people in the town!) I liked it so much that the only thing that disappointed me was the death of one of the main characters (no spoilers).
There's a lot to say about this show. One of the things that I'm glad they cleared early on was a rundown of what it's (likely) not. They're not dead, for one. Another is that I was right about a couple of major things that happen (which were not easy to figure out, but it was definitely fun). If you know, you know!
This is a must-watch for any horror fan, hands down. Episodes available now Epix. . . . .
