Can Christians become sick? P2: Isaiah 38: 1-8

1 The Introduction: Can Christians become sick?

1.1 Big Idea: We turn to Isaiah ch38 vv1-8 to look at two things from Hezekiah’s life to see if Christians can become sick (1-8).

2 The first thing to see if Christians become sick is: can Christians become sick? (1)

3 The second thing to see if Christians become sick is: does God hear the prayers of a sick Christian (4)

4 Conclusion: the exhortation: These two things that we have looked at to see if Christians become sick: will we now believe that we Christians can become sick and we can trust God with our sickness...

Reflection: Do you believe Christians become sick? Do you believe that God hears the prayers of a Christian who is sick? Do you believe that we are sick only because; there is sin in our life; our faith is weak; we are not walking closely with God? Do you believe that you can pray and trust God with your sickness?
