As we continue in Exodus chapter 8 verse 12, hear Moses’ father-in-law give him counsel on an organizational structure that would benefit both Moses and the people who came to him to learn about God. In view of this, Jethro also told Moses what kind of men he should choose within this structure to help counsel the people. They were to be men who fear God, men of Truth hating covetousness. In order to serve him down these men were each to have a personal relationship to the Lord himself and to know the truth.
