In this lesson, we see opposition both by imitation and compromise. We are in Exodus 7:10 to 8:25.

Here Moses and Aaron confront Pharaoh with 3 separate miracles from God. But Pharaoh’s magicians imitated them with their enchantments and magic arts. They also imitated the first two plagues. The first of water to blood, the second of frogs to cover the land, but the could not duplicate the third plague of lice or nats on the land. It is at this point the magicians realize that this plague is from God, the very finger of God.

Dr. Mitchell warns the church of those who imitate Christ, but are not real believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who Himself delivers us from the wrath to come.
