In Exodus 4:1-8, God instructs Moses with two signs he would present to Israel as proof that God had sent him so the people would be able to believe God and Moses.

Jesus, in the Gospel of John, presents 7 signs to the Israel of His day, yet they did not believe Him.

Paul writes in 1Cor.1:22-23, “Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek for wisdom, but we preach Jesus Christ crucified”. Jesus Christ is our sign and our wisdom as revealed in the Word of God.

The first sign involves Moses' wooden staff turning into a serpent. This is a divine miracle. The second sign shows Moses’ hand turning to leprosy and returning to normal.

God, through His Word, furnishes proof to anyone who is willing to trust Him.
