We have been reading and hearing the predictions of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 24. In this lesson we will be exploring verses 42 thru 44 which concern the coming of the Son of Man. Jesus is refers to His second coming to the earth, not the rapture which occurs in the air.

Dr. Mitchell makes it evident that the principle of waiting for the savior from heaven is true now for the Christian as well as when the Lord told His disciples about His second coming to earth for Israel.

He says the coming of the Lord is certain, but the time of His coming is uncertain. So we are exhorted to watch for Jesus in His coming for His own people at the rapture.
