As we continue our study in Great Bible Characters,

we now come to Noah, whose name means 'comfort'.

The history of Noah is found in Genesis chapters 6 thru 9.

In the N.T. Peter writes of Noah in 1Peter 3:20 and 2Peter 2:5.

Noah is also written about in the Gospel of Matthew 24:37 where it says,

'For the coming of the Son of Man will be just as in the days of Noah."

Then, there was an indifference to God and His Word

since they were pre-occupied with the activities of life.
