Walid Afifi, PhD., a professor in Communication Studies at UCSB comes on this week to have a chat with yours truly. He tells us stories about how he got interested in studying what he studies. But also about how cultural and ethnic background and how he has used his position as a platform to speak up for those who can't speak up for themselves.
