Hello everybody

In the year 2020 I commissioned a Reflexologist to massage me and hubby. The following day he gave us this leaf plant. He do not know the name of the plant, he just said that the flower of this plant is white and just blooms once a year, it is a rare plant. I was curious and grateful he gave us this plant, so, I just planted it on a pot and he reminded me not to water it always just wait for the soil to dry, then water it.

About 3 weeks after I saw in YouTube about Queen Of The Night plants thus now I know the name of this plant. It grow and grow, I replant it to other pots then I just placed them at the corner of our lot where the Fire Tree plant grows and act as their shade. Months after months I forgot about it I even never watered them.

Then, this morning I was washing cloth rugs I hung them at the clothesline which is under the Fire Tree when I gazed at the Queen Of The Nights plant whoa! I was soooo happy I found that there are blooms already. Ho my, I was really very very happy I told hubby about it, got my phone and video it for hubby to look at because he can't walk to view the blooms. I message @diosarich to confirm if really these were the Queen Of The Nights bloom because she have this flower. She called me as a reply and confirmed it is the plants bloom.

Hello gardeners,

I wanna share you our amazing soil. About two months ago I cooked vegetables especially the sweet potato leaves. After that I just threw away the stalks outside our gate. It is a vacant lot. Then, a month passed by I noticed the stalks I threw away were all alive, protruding healthy sweet potato leaves can be seen. Waaa! amazing I just threw it. I did not expect it will grew. And, when I video this I harvested the healthy leaves! What a wonderful world. We now enjoyed free fresh green healthy sweet potato leaves for our soup. Thank you Universe!

Hello everybody,

Last March 30, we went back to Dalaguete Beach Park our 3rd time. Hubby liked the effect on his body we buried half of his body in the sand for almost an hour then took a bath after he just sat by the seashore with his small pail hahaha. Really funny but practical because he can't swim. We bought a new pail before coming to the beach. Lol!

About 4pm, while I was swimming, hmm fishermen carried their small boat or banca, they help each other carrying the boat to the sea. They were just beside hubby's place. So, now we knew why there were many banca at the side of the beach, that was their parking space. Carrying their supplies their nets, motor battery and provisions. Then they came back at dawn break. This is their daily activity when the sea is calm and the weather is good.

Hello everybody,

This is my first ever post here in the Community.

I'm not lucky with my voice but I wanted to sing.

I am just a silent reader here. When I read about

the colorful theme, I thought, hmm, I think I can sing

this song a colorful song.

The song Black Is Black by sang by Los Bravos

in 1967. I chose this song because it was a colorful

and happy song, an oldies but goldies.

I also remembered this song was a hit in my elementary

days. This was played on all radio station on

those days. I even danced with this song

presented in our school program. Nice feeling to

recall the past. Made my heart smile.

Here's the Lyrics:

Black is black

I want my baby back

It's grey, it's grey

Since she went away, oh oh

What can I do

'Cause I-I-I-I-I

I'm feelin' blue

If I had my way, she'd be back today

But she don't need in time

To see me again, oh, oh

What can I do

'Cause I-I-I-I-I

I'm feelin' blue

I can't choose, it's too much to lose

My love's still strong

Oh, maybe if she

Would come back to me

Well, it can't go wrong

Bad is bad

I bet I feel so sad

It's time, it's time

I bet I found peace of mind, oh oh

What can I do

'Cause I-I-I-I-I

I'm feelin' blue

I can't choose, it's too much to lose

My love's still strong

Oh, maybe if she

Would come back to me

Well, it can't go wrong

Black is black

I want my baby back

It's grey, it's grey

Since she went away, oh oh

What can I do

'Cause I-I-I-I-I

I'm feelin' blue

'Cause I-I-I-I-I

I'm feelin' blue.

Hello everybody,

Raining everyday about a week already here in our City.

When like this I spent more time on household chores and

less crocheting activity thats why until now my projects that

I had started were all still a work-in-progress just like this

checkered bag am posting about. I crocheted this only after lunch during my

siesta time. instead of sleeping better to crochet.

This bag's original design in my mind is a checkered bag all the way, from top to bottom. But funny yesterday I noticed when I was at row 14 ho my the color was one line black and one line royal blue in two rows! Maybe because I was too sleepy. Tiring to frogged two rows so, I continued the design. This design was not intentionally the design, but I still love the result. Hahaha, first time it happened to me. Can you relate crafters?

The video show how I crochet the two colors, bringing down other color but still bring it along for easy change of colors. This is good for beginners in crochet.

Next time posting the finish bag. Thanks for dropping by...

Hello everybody,

I have 2 bucket hat custom made orders. The Lilac and Plain Maroon.

The materials I used on both bucket hats are tiny cord. I used this material because it is sturdy and really very durable. I was using this material since 1999, very easy to glide on 2.5 mm hook and 3mm, plus easy to wash just brush it with mild soap.

On this post I just share to you how to weave ends on this type of materials, view the video.

Hello everybody,

Hubby loves the place of this Dalaguete Beach Park that is why we come back here, though far from our place. We passed by two municipalities first before reaching this beach. After drop off from the car is just easy for him as a person with disability, he can't walk by himself, only about 10 meters walk with our help, it is the seashore already. Then the sand is fine fit for him to be buried by us his half body for about 30 minutes.

2nd Time

on the 2nd time, that was a Saturday, we fetched our daughters family we were 8 all in all, so, we rented the table with grilling facility because before we went to the beach we passed by the public market bought our provision like Shrimps, pork for grilling and some big fishes.

The weather was good that time, and the water was warm. After we are ate our breakfast they buried our half body in the sand. Later we enjoyed our swimming time.

3rd Time

We came only the four of us hubby, me, my son our driver and our grandson on weekdays. Nice, with only less people. We swam longer time about 3 hours. As usual, we bury the half body of hubby in the sand. While waiting for the time. me, I walked on the seashore and photowalk snapping all around and the seashells.

About 4pm we witnessed how the fishermen carried their small boats to the sea to fish that day. Their small boats or bangka was just parked near the area we were swimming.

4th Time

Same we were back still a weekday, less people and very nice weather. We still stayed on the same spot just near the fishermens boats. This was the time I took this video.

Hello All Nature Lovers,

Sharing you my entry for Amazing Nature Lovers out there. This is about the Lone White Duck here in our compound.

On our fifth day of stay here in our new apartment, it rained. Then, the following morning when I opened the door, happy I was when I saw in front of me a white duck swinming into the rain water accumulated on the cement floor in front of the big germilina tree or tekla tree, which am currently busy crocheting because I will yarn bomb the trunk.

Two days after the cemented floor was almost dried up, whoa...the white duck was there again. Funny, this time the duck still moved like swimming without the water. I laughed and laughed with it's behavior.

I bet that the duck was looking for the rain water...ahehehe...hmm, I also snapped it's strong shadow.

I asked the caretaker of the apartment about the duck if they own it. Nope, the duck just flew at the back, they do not know who is the owner, so, they just let it be, roam around the compound.

Yesterday, I prepared water and food, timing this morning, I saw the duck devoured what I prepared. From now on, I will be the caretaker and pet him/her. I do not know if the duck is a she or he. Am still looking for a big water container basin so, that even if no rain, he/she can still swim.

Hello everybody,

Aloe Vera is a succulent plant species of the genus aloe. An evergreen perennial, originates from the Arabian Peninsula, but grows wild in tropical, semi-tropical, and arid climates around the world. It is cultivated for agricultural and medicinal uses according to Wikipedia.

Here in the Philippines it is propagated on a container gardening. Even potted they thrive easily at home either for medicinal or for indoor beautifying once home.

For my own use, it is for my scalp problem that that's why I requested @jemzem as her freebie for my purchase of her chia seeds.

Next time I will try adding coconut oil or olive oil as I've read it will make my hair smooth and shiny. But, most of all, may it solve my flaky scalp.

Does anybody have same problem then solve it? What did you do? Please comment down for I would gladly follow your natural regimen.

Once again thanks @jemzem.

Hello everybody,

Today I wanna share to you how I upcycled the pull tabs I got from the governments relief goods which mostly were sardines. But even though there was no pandemic, I am a long time collector of pull tabs.

Look at my custom made bags orders 10 yrs ago. I add on pull tabs accent to my designs. I asked from my friend who's business was junk shop. I went to his place and got the pull tab or pop tab from the soda in cans that he bought from the "mangalakal or basurero"- those who are garbage gatherer. He just gave it to me because that was not important to him, but for me it was so valuable.

This one a custom made belt, using tiny cord with lots of pull tab or pop tab. One balikbayan from Japan ordered this belt for her fashionista daughter, when the daughter received the belt, she pm me thanking for the cool stuff I made.

Sorry for the green background picture that time, no other available cloth color. It must be white.

Tonight, I crocheted improntu project using some of the sardines pull tab just to show you how i join the pull tabs I video it that's why my video tutorial is dark. I just use the smartphone cam flashlight. Here is the doily with pull tab.

At first I form the pull tab into a circle and imagine the spacing enough for a doily that can accomodate 10 pull tabs. The materials I use is tiny cord, @romeskie, with the Wonder Cord brand. It is soft to crochet other brand is hard, not good. I use the gold double ended hook, 5/6 using no. 5 or 3mm.

Pls view the video how I start. The full video is suppose to be 7 minutes but when I edit at gopro only 1minute something I will just upload it on my YouTube Channel - Jurich Vlog with the pattern.

Am just sharing you that you can make something with the pull tabs so do not throw it away. Please collect it.

One of the member of our fb crochet group before was working in a tourist shop in Boracay. She was the one who told me that they sell coin purse with pop tab it cost $50 USD.

As you may know, when ever I am in a restaurant I ask the pull tabs to customers when I see one drinking soda in can. If I can do it you can do it. too.😀

Thank you @crosheille for founding #needleworkmonday where we can share our passion relating to needles and also to the active admins @muscara @marblely @shanibeer and the talented members of this community. Learned a lot from you all.
