powherfull inc startup stories: Recent Episodes

Mia Frankl

This "show" has been burning inside for a while. One little post in a Facebook group has led to months ahead bookings of gorgeous women wanting to share the true story behind starting a business, be it online or not.

As a startup myself I was tired of hearing the after the fact stuff, I want a forum for the shit we are going through NOW, I want the safety of community and relatability.

Here you will find a no fluff (not even intro music!) series of "as is / where is" conversations, with authentic and unedited female business owners in the early stages of launching, to pull back the curtain on being a solopreneur and building the biz from the ground up! #thisishowstartupsdoit

Grab some tissues and get cozy, because in this conversation we go deep. Coach Bee takes us through her awakening from wanting more than just a career in finance, to being deeply confronted by God in the identity and life she was living, to falling apart in order to come back together as her truest self.

There was a season when Bee was depressed, bedridden, broke, and trying to figure out how to keep going—not just for herself, but as a single, black mother who had a little person depending on her.

And somewhere in that experience, she began to rebuild.

Not by becoming a completely different woman. By learning how to work with the woman she actually was.

She gets vulnerable and emotional with us, being a beautiful example of the WORK we must CHOOSE behind the scenes in order to become the woman we are meant to be.

As an Accredited Financial Counselor and ADHD Money Coach, Bee combines therapy with action, meeting clients right where they are. She gets you and she's got you. She has built a practice based on CAPACITY, nervous system regulation, allowing safety for trauma to process, and finding the right steps you can take now, in order to build something bigger later.

Her signature work, Love Yourself Back to Wealth™, helps women understand their money triggers and trauma patterns, create ADHD-friendly systems that actually stick, and build financial stability without abandoning joy, peace, or purpose. She literally heals all of you through your money story.

She doesn't push you further than you can hold, but she does show you how to build. She knows money is emotional and cerebral and has mastered the dance because its her lived story.

We talk about the impact of living in survival mode for years on end, and rebuilding yourself from it. She talks about your CAPACITY BANK ACCOUNT - how much can you handle as the seasons of life, self and body change. We talk about COMMUNITY, Faith and hope.

This episode will give you permission to break free from the systems you were raised in but did not fit. You will hear how you can create your own system and be your own woman and live in the support you actually need.

What if your next chapter isn't found in a five-year plan...

What if it's hidden in a whisper?

This week on Startup Stories, I sit down with the beautiful Katherine Tuominen, and what unfolds isn't just a conversation about marketing or entrepreneurship—it's about learning to trust the quiet nudges that keep calling you toward more of yourself.

Katherine didn't have a perfectly mapped-out vision.

She had a feeling.

She began her career in the film industry, captivated by the power of storytelling. But as the environment around her shifted, she found herself feeling increasingly disconnected from the values she wanted to live by. Instead of forcing herself to stay, she made the courageous decision to leave.

For the next two and a half years, she simply... listened.

She paid the bills. She cleared away the noise. She made space to discover what was actually true for her beneath the expectations, ambition, and busyness.

From that place came a small copywriting business—because storytelling had always been the thread running through her life.

And then another whisper arrived.

"What if I didn't build this alone?"

That single question became the beginning of Catalyst Brand Strategy—a collaborative team helping purpose-driven founders amplify their message with integrity, credibility, and heart.

Now, years later, Katherine is evolving once again.

She's stepping onto stages with a keynote called Why Ethical Marketing Is Not an Oxymoron, challenging the way we think about visibility, influence, and the responsibility that comes with having a voice.

Because when marketing is done well, it isn't manipulation.

It's service.

It's connection.

It's helping the right people find the support, ideas, and hope they've been searching for.

What I loved most about this conversation is that Katherine reminds us we don't have to know exactly where we're going.

Sometimes the vision isn't a roadmap.

Sometimes it's simply a feeling that won't leave you alone.

And if you keep following those whispers—curiously, courageously, one day at a time—you might just become the woman you've been waiting for all along.

If you've been wondering what's next...

This conversation is your permission to stop forcing the path...

...and start listening.

This week on Startup Stories, I had the absolute joy of sitting down with the beautiful Tricia Conyers, all the way from Trinidad & Tobago. Tricia is a confidence and empowerment coach who has spent decades helping women grow into their leadership, but what I loved most about this conversation wasn't her incredible résumé...

It was her.

The woman behind the work.

The woman who had a successful career, who could have stayed where life looked good on paper, but instead listened to the quiet nudge that there was something more waiting for her. She chose herself. She took action before she had every answer. And little by little, she built a business—and a life—that feels deeply aligned with who she is.

We talk about what confidence really is (spoiler alert: it's action! also known as practicing!) and why waiting until you "feel ready" is often the very thing keeping you stuck.

We also laugh. We reflect. We have one of those conversations that feels like two women sitting across from each other with coffee, talking about the beautiful, messy reality of becoming.

And, behind the conversation is my own confidence in action. We could say that Tricia is more "accomplished" than me, a bigger business, a bigger identity. But that did not deter me. It feeds me, it takes me to my next level and allows me to practice CONFIDENCE IN ACTION.

And afterwards, Tricia shared how much she loved our conversation. She told me she had been listening to the podcast and appreciated the way I reflect, listen, and help guests go deeper. She even referred another incredible woman to the show.

It was such a beautiful reminder that confidence isn't about being the most experienced person in the room.

It's about showing up as yourself.

That's where the magic happens.

So wherever you are today—in the dreaming, the building, the doubting, or the becoming—I hope this conversation reminds you that confidence isn't a destination.

It's a practice.

It's a decision.

It's action.

How will you build your confidence today? 🤍

This is an extra special episode as I just attended one of Carla Geyser's safaris through a 3 way collaboration (her business, Girls Guide to the World and my life coaching company - powherfull inc).

Carla is a firecracker! An adventurer, a humanitarian, and an eco-warrior who owns and operates a conservation non profit and a travel adventure company that work together to bring women on safari and give back to the ecosystems & communities that preserve the world's wildest habitats and animals.

She has always had a nature calling and spark for the wild, she felt it in her soul long before this business model existed in her mind. Growing up in South Africa she knew about the safari plains, but the call took hold after she learned about the poaching conflicts and saw a man weeping over a poached rhino. That was her cue. Shifting from commercial real estate and event planning, she leveraged her skills and gumption to create Blue Sky Trust Society and Blue Sky Expeditions, a clever model to achieve two complimentary goals. Travel, connection to the land and supporting conservation.

Her first trip took three years to materialize and it remains an icon in her heart. It established the foundation to keep her going for 14 years (her 15th anniversary is in 2027 - celebrate by joining her on a trip!).

But beyond what she has accomplished, Carla is a beautiful human. Highly capable, FUN, loving and willing to push herself for us, for herself and for Mama Africa. Having spent one glorious week with her, being around her is healing, seeing how she connects women to each other is magnetic and listening to her educate and expand our understanding of the beauty and pain of Mama Africa is very much a life changing experience.

And you guys - she didn't get a degree in ecology or business, she just chose to trust herself and see what she could do. Her work is now bigger than just her, she has a following, business partnerships and lasting legacy that I am so grateful she said yes to!

Come enjoy this conversation and see where you too can achieve your big goals in the life you are living right now!

I can't believe the caliber of women coming on my show and the depth of conversation I hold with them.

Dr Sarah Choudhary is IMPRESSIVE - but less so because of her list of accomplishments and more because of who she chooses to be.

You see this is the thread in all these episodes - what reality, purpose, permission are you claiming in living your life?

Dr Sarah was living in Pakistan, she experienced war and hardship and over 25 years ago she moved to the US to find more freedom and peace. She went to school, she worked corporate, she fell in love, she started a family. All while absorbing and observing the systems and constructs around her.

Noticing "containers" holding her in, or helping her grow. And as a woman in the tech industry, she saw between the "lines." She started to crack the paradigms and shift them to a more holistic, collectively beneficial model.

You have to listen to the episode for this to land, her awareness, leadership and visionary identity is what created her portfolio. She is the founder of multiple ventures across food tech, transportation, health tech, and coaching—built without a co-founder or external funding—navigating everything from legal frameworks and trademarks to operations and scale firsthand.

Sarah’s work is deeply shaped by both lived experience and rigorous training, including advanced coaching programs such as Quazi Johir’s leadership coaching and the Jay Shetty Institute. Her upcoming book, The Quantum Code of Wealth, explores clarity, decision-making, and inner alignment as the true drivers of sustainable success.

She is passionate about helping ambitious women and founders build businesses without losing themselves in the process.

Follow this woman, stay close for the release of her book and allow yourself to grow into more of who you are because that's the biggest impact and legacy we can create - together.

This woman is a GIFT my friend. The more I read her stories, the more my soul breathes, feels and becomes willing to hold more... more joy, more hardship.

Kym Coco emailed me with a wicked "resume like" podcast application. I googled her - is this real? She is beyond real. She is soft and strong, sad and ever expanding in love, so open to life, all of it.

She has a big story to share, to inspire with and to lead by example in the power of agency, choice, and supernatural connection. Listen deeply when she describes love near the end. I went on a journey listening and you will too.

How can I summarize her journey.... When she said YES to pursuing yoga training in South Africa, her life trajectory aligned. Each choice after lead her to more of her WHOLE SELF. Her "trust stamina" grew stronger and life's wonderful and heartbreaking "plot twists" kept her finding out more about she is.

Kym chose to fall in love with Steve, chose life with him over building a family, travelled the US with him, teaching people "emotional kinesiology... Wrote books together.... And stayed by him as he fell ill and transiitoned out of his "meat suit." Then she sat in big fat confronting grief..... And held herself there. Didn't rush, sure avoided at times, but allowed it. Accepted it. Learned to live with it and live through it and love even more because of it..... Her connected to her spirituality, to the oneness of the true vast supernatural.... is how she thrives and processes what happens to her.

With a degree in Kinesiology, several books, a gorgeous blog, a yoga business, a ladies golf coaching business and so much more, Kym continues to embrace her expansion.

Our organic conversation is so beautiful, so relatable to day to day life and will help you breathe life into your spirit to make each day count as a crucial part of your life masterpiece.

I have known Tammi for YEARS. We hit it off immediately and have been growing our friendship, online, since we met. But I truly cannot wait to her hug in person one day!

Having her on the show has also been years in the making. And you know what, sometimes we can make that mean something about ourselves, the other person, something else. But what I have learned is ALL THINGS IN GOOD TIME.

Tammi & I don't waste any time diving into IDENTITY. Sense of self. growth, awareness, all the juicy stuff that drives me and you everyday to stretch. Tammi was living inside herself. Life looked fine enough on paper - great husband, cute kid, decent job. But her soul was restless and, until Tammi started really facing herself, it was also stuck.

Do you know that feeling? An internal churning and yearning, desire for freedom when in the end - you are they key. We found each other through a life coach. That coach helped us both set ourselves free. So we truly speak from experience in showing up differently, while cherishing those in our life (that we want to keep!) and bringing them along with us.

Tammi's "soul upgrade" led her to quit her real estate job, go for it with her hair colour, forgive herself for performing and letting people walk all over her.... It also reminded her of how freaking cool she is, what incredible gifts she has and how important and FUN it is to "show them off" - but not from ego. From passion, service, connection. Creating something meaningful and real. While still running her son to school, supporting and managing her husband's (sweet) airbrushing business (https://festercustomairbrushing.bigcartel.com/). And finally launching her own business in intuitive readings and women's circles.

Can you be so audacious to be your true big bad self, in confidence and shame free? Fully embrace all of who you are, in the day to day life you are living now?

Let us stop trying to escape our current reality and chase another one. instead, let's wholly embrace the life we are living in and make it the most amazing place to be.

Earbuds in! LET'S GO!!!

Ready to active yourself in your life?

For the woman with ambition and laundry.

For the woman not looking escape but to fully LIVE.

Not someday.

In her actual life. Now. In between. ALIVE.

Imagine feeling deep within "I know who I am. I trust how I’m living."

This is what we build in The Everyday Woman Awakening. 6 weeks. 4 pillars. 5 women + Me.

Not me nattering at you, me beside you, you beside each other. Walking it out. Anchoring it in.

BECOMING the woman you have been waiting for.

This conversation was so rich and so tangible with tiny shifts that you can make throughout your day-to-day to truly change your life.

Candice Neveu is a life coach for ambitious, high performing women feeling burn out and unsure of how to change. This is a journey she's walked out in her own life in the last ten years especially.

From hating her "good job" and quitting after launching a business, raising kids, avoiding a deteriorating marriage which eventually did end anyway, Candice has had to face herself over and over again.

She's now learning about herself more deeply, accepting all of who is more fully, and reaching for more courage and self trust at every step. With grace, self awareness and - even if lacking at times - patience, her last decade has reshaped her into the most beautiful version yet. She's choosing herself first, for basically the first time since she left home, and taking that relationship to limitless possibilities.

We really speak life into the concepts of capacity, self-regulation growth, accountability.... All the beautiful personal development things in a very practical "among your day to day" way.

I couldn't get enough of this conversation, being a little over an hour long haha but I'm sure you'll find it flies by.

And please connect with either of us about what shifted or was revealed for you in this episode. We are here to support your journey.

What happens when the life you built… no longer feels like it fits?

In this episode, I sit down with Stacy Heisey-Terrell, a Career Ownership Coach who spent nearly 30 years in Human Resources before making a bold and deeply personal pivot — from serving organizations to helping individuals design careers that actually serve them.

And this conversation? It’s for every woman who has ever felt the quiet nudge… the “there has to be more than this” whisper… even when everything looks fine on paper.

Stacy’s corporate journey spanned industries — legal, healthcare, insurance, energy, and local government — and with it came the full spectrum of experiences many women know all too well: unfulfilled promotions, long hours, burnout, and even being the one tasked with delivering layoffs. She calls them the “taps on the shoulder” — those moments life uses to gently (and sometimes not so gently) ask you to pay attention.

For Stacy, those taps eventually became impossible to ignore.

A remote consulting role gave her a glimpse into a different way of living and working — one that felt more flexible, more aligned, and more her. And with the support of her husband (and one very honest question: “Why would you go back to that?”), she began to explore something new.

Not a perfect plan.

Not a guaranteed outcome.

But a possibility.

Today, Stacy helps what she calls “corporate refugees” explore business ownership and redefine success on their own terms — whether that means more time, more freedom, or simply feeling like themselves again in their work.

This episode is full of powerful mindset shifts that will stay with you:

Reframing risk: what if a 30% chance of failure actually means a 70% chance of success?

Asking the better question: How will I feel in 10 years if I don’t do this?

And learning that curiosity — not certainty — is often the first step forward

But beyond the strategy, what I love most about Stacy’s story is this:

She’s not just creating a new career for herself — she’s creating a new legacy. One that her four daughters get to witness in real time. One that shows them that success isn’t linear, and that it’s always okay to choose again.

Because life is wild. Life is messy.

But your work? That gets to evolve with you.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overlooked, burned out, or quietly ready for something different — this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Some women build businesses. Some women build solutions that change lives.

And some women do both — while still showing up as mothers, partners, and everyday humans navigating the real rhythm of life.

In this episode, I sit down with Lindsay Friedman, a four-time business founder whose work is helping families across the USA navigate one of life’s most complex and emotional realities: long-term care for family elders.

Her work combines heart, passion and a whole lot of purpose. But behind it all is a very real, very everyday woman figuring out daily balance with all of who she is.

When we recorded this conversation, she was nine days away from leaving for a family vacation… which meant the very real entrepreneurial dance of wrapping up work, holding the team, moving big projects forward, and making space to step away. It’s the kind of behind-the-scenes moment that reminds us: even women building extraordinary things are still living ordinary, full lives.

Lindsay’s journey began more than two decades ago as a nursing assistant working in memory care, hospice, and assisted living. Witnessing the decline of her own grandmother opened her eyes to the immense emotional, logistical, and financial strain families face when navigating care for loved ones. That experience became the catalyst for the mission she’s been pursuing ever since.

Today, Lindsay leads two companies tackling what experts call the “silver tsunami”—the rapidly growing need for elder care as millions of people age.

Her company Carebloom develops innovative technology that helps families monitor the well-being of loved ones at home, while LTCareNav provides a free, AI-powered platform to help families create personalized long-term care plans and avoid costly, reactive decisions during moments of crisis.

But this conversation isn’t just about startups and systems. It’s about resilience.

It’s about learning to see failure not as defeat, but as information. It’s about pivoting through moments like the COVID pandemic and continuing to build anyway. And it’s about the quiet courage of women who keep showing up — for their work, their families, and their purpose — even when the path isn’t linear.

Lindsay reminds us that building a meaningful life isn’t about arriving at some perfect destination. It’s an ongoing unfolding.

A constant learning. A balancing. A becoming.

If you’ve ever wondered how women hold ambition, family, responsibility, and purpose all at once… this conversation will speak to you.

And if you’re over 50 or caring for aging loved ones, Lindsay also shares why proactive care planning might be one of the most important conversations your family can have.

Juli Miezejeski spent nearly thirty years in the corporate world as a mid-level executive in high-tech, consulting, and publishing. She has an MBA in marketing and management science, by every metric she was “successful” - on the outside. Internally her spirit kept whispering to her - see me, feel this. And it grew in a pivotal moment with an executive coach, at her work, showed her a different way to create impact. A way that wasn’t just about performance — but about transformation.

After experiencing a coaching session, Juli felt an activation that could not be ignored so she pursued certification through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and eventually quit her job to pursue coaching full time.

She wanted to reach others like her and help them go from Stuck to Unstuck to Unstoppable (which she later wrote a book about!).

Today, as a Certified Professional Coach and mental fitness trainer, Juli partners with women who are ready to move beyond achievement into alignment. Beyond status into spirit. Beyond checking boxes into living on purpose.

My conversation with Juli was rich, really explaining the difference between identity work and more accomplishments. Sometimes coaching seems like a way to get more, when really it should be about becoming more of who you are.

And sometimes we pursue big life changes to get more, when what we need to be doing is simply finding more of ourselves (not external "things").

If you are feeling a bit empty spiritually this conversation is for you. We go through the revelation of ourselves and how it shows up in our life, because of who we are being, not what we are collecting.

Hi Sister! I am showing up and claiming my authority! As an everyday woman! And that's what I am here to impart to you as well.

Your story doesn’t need clarity first.

Clarity comes from telling it.

You don’t “figure out” your story and then share it. You share it — and it reveals itself.

You can build peace in the middle. You can belong without performing. And you don’t have to do it alone.

This is the work I’m devoted to. This is the community I’m building. And if you feel it… you’re already one of us.

We - the everyday woman - are the MAJORITY. We are the impactful change makers, serving different roles all over the planet. Reaching people, connecting to each other and building a legacy we cannot fathom (or control!) but are absolutely responsible to show up for.

Do not let your circumstances, metrics or comparison SHRINK ANY BIT OF YOU.

Because you are necessary, required and most absolutely exquisite!!!

**

You are invited to meet more women like YOU at THE EVERYDAY WOMAN SUMMIT #44444: Identity in the Mundane.

Join me for a 2.5 hour live workshop where we crack open questions and curiosities about who you are being, what you want and making it happen in small, every day ways. The party runs on Feb 22/26 at 9 am PST. Join us here: https://www.facebook.com/share/1GJeJJEtZg/

This guest is a woman I felt called to invite into this space.

Reese Sabatini-Blake is a bestselling author, speaker, and holistic mental health expert — but before any title, she is a woman who learned sovereignty early.

As a teenager, Reese became hemiplegic (paralysis on one side of the body) and legally blind.
Her body changed. Her world narrowed. Her future was rewritten overnight. From competitive martial arts to the hospital ward, because of a surgery.

And instead of surrendering her life to a prognosis, she reclaimed it. She walked out of that hospital 8 weeks later.

That chapter became the foundation of her bestselling debut novel, Paralysis: Beating the Odds — and it cracked open a much wider calling. One that would lead her into high-risk social work, indigenous medicine, shamanic training, and a lifelong devotion to helping people heal trauma without numbing, bypassing, or pharmaceutical dependency.

Reese brings a rare fusion of worlds — the rigour of high-risk social services and the ancient wisdom of indigenous healing. She works with women and men who are ready to reclaim their mental and emotional well-being, navigate trauma and neuro-diversity, and embody their truest selves with dignity and power.

Her work is grounded, compassionate, and deeply effective — whether in her group programs or her most transformative 3-, 6-, and 12-month one-on-one containers, where real, lasting change happens.

What drew me to Reese was her certainty.
The way she speaks from lived experience, not theory.
The way she doesn’t ask for permission to name truth.
The way she stands as living proof that trauma does not get the final word.

This conversation is for the woman who has survived something —
and knows there must be more than just coping.

Reese Sabatini-Blake didn’t just beat the odds.
She rewrote them.

I have known Vaughn for quite a few years and watched her expand over that time. She has taken off like a rocket. Her awakening started from an external stimuli, but then she realized it was all inside her to unlock. And that has become her life's work and purpose and CALLING.

She exudes love, playfulness and vitality. And in setting herself free - from herself - she has created and allowed (ahem - received!) a life bigger, funner and more abundant than anything she ever dreamed of. All the while stewarding her marriage and deepening her connection to her husband (we can grow together, or apart - these two grew closer than ever expanding with each other).

One more thing to mention (in the endless list of things) about Vaughn, is that what you see online pretty much matches what goes on offline. She isn't hiding from her life, her wounds or her glory. It's all there, real and relatable and messy and beautiful.

Vaughn is a divine feminine guide, breathwork healer, and the creator of the Holy Breath Method™.

She helps women come home to themselves — through the body, the breath, and the soul.

This wasn’t a path she mapped out with a five-year plan. This was a remembering. A listening. A slow and holy yes after years of deep healing, hands-on bodywork, and spiritual initiation. Today, she walks beside women as they clear old patterns, awaken dormant gifts, and rise into the truth of who they already are.

Everything she offers — her retreats, her trainings, her circles — is rooted in remembrance: That you are holy. That your body is sacred. That your breath is the bridge back to your power.

So as you listen today, I invite you to soften. To breathe. To let your body receive what your mind doesn’t need to understand.

Lindsay Dam is "barefoot but expensive!" I love the reference because it EMBODIES an identity of certainty and simplicity.

I invited this fierce + powherfull woman to the show because she wrote something that shot me through the soul. She experienced something profound, some may call it awful, but she shifted her story and identity of that event into something GOOD.

Sitting on Zoom with Lindsay I can feel how confident she is, how certain of herself she is and yet still soft and open, still growing. And that is the attraction. She lives out her work. She created this version of herself, one intentional choice at a time.

Lindsay is a nervous-system-based wealth mentor and Capacity Architect for women entrepreneurs. She supports high-capacity women in rewiring trauma patterns, expanding their ability to receive, and building businesses that create real wealth — without pressure, burnout, or self-betrayal. Her work blends neuroscience, embodiment, and energy to create regulated expansion and sustainable success.

This conversation is for the woman carrying something heavy. Something unfair. Something life-altering. For the woman who knows she doesn’t want to stay where it hurt — and is ready to build a life that honours what she survived.

Lindsay’s work — and her life — remind us WE get to dictate our future - WE are sovereign over ourselves and in that is our freedom.

Lindsay Pinchuk is an award-winning entrepreneur, mentor, and the founder of Dear FoundHer…, a community and top 1.5% podcast devoted to supporting women business owners over 40 who are ready to simplify, grow, and lead with clarity.

She’s one of less than 1% of female founders who has successfully taken a company all the way through acquisition — building her first business, Bump Club and Beyond, from just $500 into a seven-figure brand that reached over three million people every month, with partners like Target, Nordstrom, Huggies, and Unilever.

But what I admire most about Lindsay isn’t just what she built — it’s how she continues to respond to what life and leadership ask of her next.

Through her signature SWEEP framework, her mentorship, her writing, and her community, Lindsay helps women untangle their marketing, trust themselves again, and build businesses that actually fit the season they’re in. And alongside that work, she’s also found herself — somewhat unexpectedly — stepping into advocacy, using her voice to speak out against antisemitism after a single post opened a much larger door. Instead of shrinking back, she followed the call.

Lindsay is proof that entrepreneurship isn’t linear — it’s initiatory. That leadership evolves. And that impact expands when we allow ourselves to be both strategic and brave.

What if your everyday life isn’t in the way of your calling…but the very place it’s meant to unfold?

In this solo episode, I speak directly to the woman who is faithful, responsible, and deeply devoted — yet quietly longing for more of herself. Not more hustle. Not more reinvention. But more aliveness, truth, and trust in who she already is.

I share from my own lived experience as an everyday woman walking in her calling — building community, holding sacred space, and creating impact without bypassing the mundane. Because legacy isn’t built in the highlight reel. It’s formed in the small, unseen choices made one day at a time.

This conversation is an invitation to soften, to remember, and to reclaim the parts of you that went quiet in the name of being good, capable, or needed. We explore why the “wild woman” within you isn’t reckless or lost — she’s regulated, rooted, and waiting for safety.

Inside this episode, we explore:

Why your desire for more is not selfish — it’s sacred

How faith, regulation, and embodiment create sustainable impact

What it means to awaken the wild woman without burning your life down

Why community and devotion to self are the foundation of true legacy

How ordinary women create extraordinary impact by staying present

This is for the woman who knows there’s more to her story — and is ready to live it as is, where she is, with reverence and courage.

You don’t need to become someone else.

You need to come home to yourself.

✨ If you feel the resonance, I’d love to walk with you inside The Everyday Woman Awakening — a 6-week small cohort space to awaken the woman you seek, because she’s already here.

I’m so excited to introduce you to Sarah Trop — nationally recognized interior designer, HGTV Flea Market Flip champion, and the founder of FunCycled. But beyond the titles and features, Sarah is a woman who has built a business with soul, sustainability, and faith at the center.

Sarah’s journey began in her mid-twenties as a mom of two, with a deep desire to work from home, be present with her children, and create something meaningful with her hands. What started as painting and repurposing furniture grew — over the last 13 years — into a full interior design studio, light remodelling firm, and creative brand known for transforming historic homes, small spaces, and overlooked pieces into something beautiful and life-giving.

After winning on HGTVs Flea Market Flip (which her friend encouraged, bugged + lovingly forced her to apply for!!!), Sarah was able to open her storefront and scale Funcycled. Her work has since been featured in Country Living, House Beautiful, and Life at Home Magazine, and her 1802 farmhouse restoration has inspired thousands who love old homes and sustainable design.

Rooted in faith, family, and creativity — and fueled by perseverance, strategy, and leadership — Sarah’s story is such a powerful reminder that you don’t have to choose between purpose and growth. You get to build both.

She is in a period of pivoting, adjusting, finding another way forward. This is the duality of life, it ebbs and flows. And in that we must find peace. We must be able to HOLD ourselves, our faith and our calling + mission during the in between. I see Sarah taking the stage as a business mentor, community builder and "remodelled" entrepreneur. I will be watching wiht delight as she evolves and yet again makes something Broken - Beautiful again.

Tammy Vincent is a woman whose heart has been shaped by both deep compassion and lived experience — the kind of leader who doesn’t just teach healing, but embodies it.

She is an author, speaker, and life coach for adult children who grew up with alcoholic parents. Tammy’s work is rooted in a sacred mission: to support and restore the confused, lonely, scared, and often invisible children who didn’t know where to turn… and in many cases, didn’t even know they had options.

This mission isn’t abstract for Tammy — it’s personal. She has devoted her life to eradicating the long-lasting effects of growing up in chaos and silence, and to helping adults finally find language, safety, and self-trust where there once was none.

Tammy carries a beautiful softness alongside her strength. She loves the ocean and turtles — symbols of endurance, wisdom, and returning home — and even shares matching tattoos with her children as a reminder of the bonds that heal across generations. She’s spoken on stages like Life on Fire and Big Money Speaker, recently hosted the Radiant Women Wellness Weekend in Florida, and integrates powerful tools like AO scans and energetic clearing into her healing work.

What I love most about Tammy is her unwavering devotion to the innocent parts within us — the ones that learned too early how to survive, but are now ready to truly live. She gets it because she lived it, and she now empowered by her experiences.

Add a catalyst effect of having hosted her first retreat and 2026 is lit up for her, a pivot, a higher perspective and a mission bigger than she ever dreamed of!

This was an incredible episode my friend. I was captivated and energetically connected throughout the whole conversation. Dr Neja Zupan's presence immediately slows the room — not because she is quiet, but because she is anchored. The kind of woman whose leadership doesn’t come from force, but from having walked through fire and chosen herself on the other side.

Dr. Neja is a Mentor in Multidimensional Leadership and Radiant Vitality, and the founder of the Mastering Energy Academy.

Neja’s story is not one of hustle or shortcuts. It is one of radical truth, responsibility, and reclamation.

At 43 years old, Neja was diagnosed with aggressive, hormone-dependent cancer and given a 5% chance of survival. She carries the BRCA gene. Every woman in her lineage before her had died from cancer. And in that moment — facing statistics, history, and fear — she made a conscious decision to break the cycle.

She said no to chemo and radiation. And yes to something far more demanding: deep self-responsibility, nervous system healing, emotional excavation, trauma awareness, and energetic recalibration.

That choice didn’t just heal her body — it rebuilt her identity.

What followed was a complete reconstruction of her life force. Layer by layer, frequency by frequency, Neja dismantled inherited survival patterns and rebuilt herself from the inside out. And from that place of alignment, something extraordinary happened: her business, her relationships, and her leadership expanded — not through pushing, but through coherence.

Neja didn’t hustle her way into success. She healed her way there.

Today, she mentors high-achieving leaders around the world who are done performing, done pretending, and ready to reclaim their inner authority. Her work bridges emotional intelligence, trauma awareness, and energetic mastery — reminding us that true leadership begins within, and that sustainable success is an inside job.

This conversation is for the woman who knows she’s meant for more — but knows, too, that the path forward isn’t about doing more… it’s about becoming more aligned.

This week's guest is a woman who carries both steel and soul — the kind of leader who has lived many lives and now uses every one of them to help other women rise.

I’m honored to welcome Chanda Coston — a retired U.S. Navy veteran, strategist, and mentor for women over 40 who are ready to turn their business ideas into real impact, income, and sustainable growth.

Chanda brings more than 20 years of leadership and project management experience from the military, where she led large-scale operations, managed high-stakes deployments, and built systems that saved the U.S. Navy over $24 million. But what truly shapes her work today didn’t begin in a boardroom or a briefing room — it was forged in lived experience.

Before the accolades and authority, Chanda rebuilt her life from the ground up. She knows poverty. Early motherhood. Domestic abuse. And a pivotal moment in young adulthood where she had to decide — consciously and courageously — who she would become.

That choice changed everything.

Today, Chanda has transformed her story into a blueprint — one rooted in clarity, faith, and structure — and she now helps high-capacity, purpose-driven women move out of overwhelm and into aligned, sustainable success. Her work replaces chaos with clarity, ambition with strategy, and burnout with momentum.

Through her Build to Blueprint™ accelerator, the Momentum Mastery Collective, and her powerful frameworks, Chanda guides women to build businesses that honor their capacity, their calling, and the legacy they want to leave behind.

This conversation is about leadership, resilience, faith, and the quiet power of choosing yourself — again and again.

The Personal Earthquake That Rewrote Everything

In this deeply human and beautifully poetic conversation, I sit with the extraordinary Rachael Davila—VA mentor, strategist, author, and the grounded mother-heart behind Extra Hands! Virtual Assistance. For 20 years, Rachael built her business the way so many women do: quietly, consistently, humbly… carrying more than she ever gave herself credit for.

And then 2021 hit.

What she calls her “personal earthquake”—five virtual summits landing at once, round-the-clock client demands, her health falling apart in real time—forced her into a reckoning. Diabetes. Hair loss. Fear. Identity unraveling thread by thread. A moment of “I can’t do this anymore,” whispered through tears and exhaustion.

But what emerged from the rubble is what makes this conversation sacred.

Rachael takes us into the tender territory of redefining herself—from lifelong doer and behind-the-scenes superhero to mentor, author, and truth-teller. She shares the moment a Louise Hay exercise surfaced her deepest limiting belief… and how Gay Hendricks’ The Big Leap cracked open a knowing: her zone of genius was never in doing more, but in guiding others to lead with clarity, structure, and self-belief.

This episode is for every woman who has pushed past her own mayday moments… every woman who has lived in the tension between what she’s good at and what she’s called to… every woman learning to release control, receive support, and rise into her next identity with softness and sovereignty.

Rachael’s story is a reminder that breakdowns can be holy.

That identity shifts can be rebirths.

And that sometimes the most powerful work we ever do is letting ourselves become who we were always meant to be.

Tune in for wisdom, truth, and the kind of soul nourishment that lingers long after the episode ends.

Building a Business With Heart, Humility & Holy Grit

In this episode of Startup Stories, I sit down with the brilliant and quietly powerful Arielle Loupos, founder of Flower Girl—a sustainable, natural-fiber period underwear brand crafted for real women who want comfort, dignity, and an eco-friendly choice that actually works.

What began as a personal frustration turned into a two-year research-and-development journey where Arielle refused to compromise on quality, women’s health, or ethics. She takes us behind the curtain of what it really looks like to grow a physical product business today—small-batch U.S. manufacturing, managing inventory by hand, navigating cash flow, resisting the pressure to mass-produce overseas, and learning to trust her pace in a world obsessed with speed.

We talk visibility, networking, organic marketing, and the courage to experiment with new platforms without losing your soul in the algorithm. And we go deep on the personal work required to build something beautiful: releasing timelines, separating your identity from your brand, learning flexibility, and letting entrepreneurship expand you from the inside out.

Arielle also shares her future vision—growing a small, mighty team, expanding into wholesale and affiliate channels, and building Flower Girl into a full apparel brand that honors comfort, sustainability, and craftsmanship.

This conversation is for the woman who is building slowly, intentionally, and with integrity… the woman who wants to grow a business she’s proud of without burning herself down to do it.

Arielle reminds us that sometimes the most sustainable thing we can build is ourselves.

Tune in and be encouraged. 🌿

From Corporate Pressure to Confident Creator

In this honest and deeply relatable conversation, Nancy Garfinkel invites us behind the scenes of her entrepreneurial journey — the messy, the brave, the unexpected, and the transformative.

We open with a week that tested every ounce of her resilience: firing a virtual assistant right before Black Friday and scrambling to rescue her launch with the help of a friend. It’s the kind of moment every business-building woman recognizes — when things fall apart, and somehow, we rise.

Nancy then shares the turning point that changed everything: leaving a corporate healthcare job marked by micromanagement, pressure, and a loss of self. That breaking point led her into real estate investing, coaching, and ultimately discovering a calling — helping women who carry too much learn how to execute with clarity and intention.

Out of her own lived experience, she created Execution Wins — a simple, powerful system for women who don’t need more to-do lists… they need a framework that actually works for real life.

We also dive into Nancy’s bold and beautiful vision for the future: a 2026 Ignite Summit series focused on health, wealth, and personal growth — a space where everyday women can learn, connect, and rise together. It starts in January, friend on her Facebook for more info!

https://www.facebook.com/nancy.garfinkeleller

As we move through her entrepreneurial journey, Nancy shares one of the most inspiring parts of her story: how entrepreneurship has helped her reclaim her time, her energy, her identity, and even her body. Since leaving corporate, she has lost 75 pounds — not from chasing achievement, but from choosing alignment, awareness, and purpose.

This episode is for every woman standing at the edge of change.

Every woman who knows something needs to shift.

Every woman ready to trust herself again.

Tune in, take a breath, and remember: your next version already lives inside you — one decision, one system, one brave moment at a time.

Shannon's journey began around 17 years ago. Ladies, take a breath, IT WILL COME TO FRUITION. Surrender to the timing, stop trying to force it into reality. Your business is a living entity and you will reap the benefits, in good time.

In this episode, I sit down with Shannon Coulter, a woman on a mission to help families break free from screen overwhelm and reconnect with the real world. Shannon’s journey started in her own backyard, watching her stepchildren struggle to play outside for more than five minutes. That moment cracked something open in her — and it’s been fuelling her purpose ever since.

We dive into the science of screen addiction (yes, it’s engineered), how technology rewires our brains, and what it’s doing to kids’ imagination, attention, relationships, and nervous systems. Shannon breaks it down in a way that’s eye-opening but also empowering — because awareness gives you choices.

We also talk about her entrepreneurial journey: the first idea that didn’t land, the heartbreak and humility of starting over, and the courage it takes to try again when the dream matters. Shannon shares the lessons she learned about listening, market research, faith, and tuning out the voices — even when some of those voices belonged to family.

This episode also honours something deeply important: the value of stay-at-home parenting, the gift of being present with your kids, and why we need more community, more connection, and more real-life human support in a world that’s becoming increasingly isolated.

If you’ve ever questioned your own screen habits, worried about your kids’ tech use, or felt called to create change in your corner of the world, this conversation will meet you where you are and lift you up.

Shannon is full of light, conviction, and heart — and I cannot wait for you to hear her story.

From Performing to Embodied Leadership with Aleksandra Plazinic

In this episode, I’m joined by the fabulous Aleksandra Plazinic — a woman who has reinvented herself again and again, moving from performance-driven corporate expectations to becoming a deeply embodied leader who helps women own their voice, their worth, and their power.

Aleksandra is a global communication coach, speaker, and lecturer with a PhD in Strategic Management and a résumé that includes the United Nations, the European Commission, and top business schools across Europe. But what makes her story so compelling is the inner journey she took to get here — the shift from striving and proving to leading with clarity, confidence, and a grounded sense of self.

We talk about what it really looks like to choose your identity on purpose, to stop chasing achievement as validation, and to disrupt the patterns that keep us shrinking instead of standing tall. Aleksandra’s holistic blend of NLP, emotional healing, and practical communication skills helps executive women — especially in male-dominated industries like tech and engineering — move from “Am I enough?” to “I was born for this.”

If you’ve ever struggled with imposter syndrome, hesitated to take the mic, or felt the tug between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming, this conversation is going to land so deeply. Aleksandra holds such powerful space for women to rise, and her story is a reminder that confidence isn’t built by performing — it’s built by coming home to yourself.

Tune in for a conversation full of truth, identity work, and that beautiful female grit. 🎤✨

My guest, Kristina Scaglione, LCSW-R, is the founder of Root & Rise and Limitless Integrative Wellness, two interconnected ventures redefining what holistic care looks like. Her model brings therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners together under one roof — not as employees, but as collaborators — creating a true ecosystem of care where clients are supported as whole people.

But what makes Kristina’s story so powerful isn’t just the innovation of her model — it’s the heart, responsibility, and sheer determination she’s carrying as one woman funding and leading this movement forward. She’s not just building a business; she’s building a foundation that could ripple out across the country, with a vision to establish Limitless centers in communities everywhere.

In this episode, we talk about the cost — emotional, financial, and personal — of pioneering something new, what it means to hold a big vision while staying grounded in service, and how Kristina continues to lead with integrity and courage through it all.

If you’ve ever felt called to build something bigger than yourself, this episode will speak right to your spirit.

Raised tough, lived wild, and rebuilt from the ground up, Sue brings real talk, deep heart, and a no-fluff approach to personal transformation. Based outside Seattle with her horse Moose and two mini Dachshunds, she’s here to help you stop surviving and start showing up for your life.

We hit it off instantly and one of the characteristics I love most about Sue is her detachment to outcome - TRY the thing, give it all you got and see where it takes you because there is ALWAYS something to gain. But you need an open mind and heart to receive it. This laid back and highly intentional approach is super bad-ass, it's like "Hey Life, Let's see what we can do shall we! Bring it!"

She is empowered and built on self trust - that you will evolve no matter what happens. Which makes this episode grounding and expansive — a reminder that our entrepreneurial paths are rarely straight, but they’re always leading us somewhere deeper if we’re brave enough to follow.

Sue’s story is such a beautiful reminder that our purpose often lives inside the things we’ve loved all along. From finding sanctuary with horses as a child to building a 60-year relationship with them through massage, training, and now Equus Coaching, Sue’s journey is all about healing, growth, and coming home to yourself.

We talk about her growth in real estate, to coaching, to other “side hustle” experiments (yes, including a dog treat company!), and what it really takes to follow curiosity over comfort. Her work with horses invites women — especially those 40 and beyond — to live unapologetically, boldly, and with presence. Moose, her business partner, reads your energy and body language, showing Sue where you need a shift, a crack, a release. An incredibly powerful methodology for deep healing and transformation. If you have ever had a relationship with a horse, you will know what we mean. They are truly spiritual animals.

“Our bodies hold every experience that we’ve ever had, that’s what the horses are seeing and feeling and becoming part of.”

Building Capacity & Friendship with the Budget Besties — Shana & Vanessa

This episode is a FIRST for startup stories, a DOUBLE interview!!!! AND it's two women in business together. Best friends first who became business partners later. My whole heart right here ladies!

Shana & Vanessa met through their kids (boys). They both knew they had an entrepreneurial spirit and tried different things but it was David Ramsey's program that they realized they could and wanted to do business together.

What I really take away from episode though, is CAPACITY. Their product - The Simplified Budget System - demonstrates capacity. How much debt can you pay while covering the mortgage and volleyball fees?

Their business demonstrates their capacity - family + faith first, working 9 am to 3 pm at 4 days a week means they have built what they want to handle and what they can handle.

They were HUMBLED at first, when the kids were younger (college age now and 6 years in business). They were trying to do and be too many things. Through those lessons, they let go, got focused and are now in their flow zone of genius. It's obvious how much they love their work, and the impact it makes in people's lives.

It's also obvious how running a business with your best friend is amazing, helpful and MORE FUN. Shana and Vanessa are a beautiful example of what can happens when friendship, purpose, and business collide—in the best possible way. 💕

They didn’t set out to build an empire (though they are doing just fine). They set out to build capacity—space for their dreams, for their families, and for other women to breathe easier around money.

Together they brought those values into they financial systems. Simplicity, presence, and peace.

In this conversation, we go beyond money talk. We explore what it means to grow a business that fits within your capacity, how to make peace with “enough,” and the beauty of building alongside someone who truly gets you. Shana and Vanessa’s partnership is proof that collaboration, when rooted in friendship and faith, can be one of the most sustainable business models there is.

✨ Expect laughter, honesty, and wisdom on building from the heart—at a pace that honours your life.

Ok Friends, Mary & I have developed a "schtick" right out of the gate. SHE SENT ME A ..... COLD DM!!!!!

The dreaded, the disgusted, the awful oh no!!!! hahaha. WELLLLL we are a new portal to rewriting that tired old perspective. Instead let's look at it as this - Mary is bold, convicted and excited about her business and wants to share her message with others.

She is making moves, taking action and not worried about people's judgement. And in doing so, we made an incredible new connection where I immediately absorbed her into my vortex because God said "reply" to her cold DM.

Mary and I are so aligned. She has a heart for mama's in business, getting them clear, confident and believing in themselves and their dreams. Amid the kids, the chaos, the tired and the job etc. She is living it too. She works from home, has 3 kids and all the responsibilities.

And she is showing up for herself none the less. No excuses. Action, connection, earnest conversations. You do not have to have it all together or figured out in order to create a beautiful life, everyday.

We cross interviewed each for this episode we can both use it on our podcasts, so you get to hear a bit more from me too.

What does it look like to grow up with technology in your hands, build a company from scratch at 19, and lead it through the ups and downs of a changing world for over 15 years?

In this powerful conversation, Oksana Kovalchuk takes us inside her journey from a little girl coding at age five to becoming the founder of ANODA, a UX (user experience - how people interact with software) design company that has weathered industry shifts, global crises, and the relentless pace of tech innovation.

Oksana doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges of entrepreneurship—navigating responsibility for employees, surviving the pandemic, and learning the hard way that “overnight success” is a myth. From designing intuitive digital experiences that connect people across cultures to diversifying income streams to future-proof her business, Oksana shares wisdom every startup founder needs. She also opens up about her next big vision: connecting micro-SaaS founders with investors and stepping into new co-founder and CTO roles.

Let me tell you about Brit Nicole y'all!

There is building a business with effort, which yes can lead to success ($20k in one month) BUT if it is done in a counterfeit way, it doesn't last. What does counterfeit mean? Coming from a place of proving, of pushing, of ego.... Instead of soul lead, God given, purposeFULL and personal.

This incredible woman has been through it all, she left an abusive marriage as a young woman, built and sold a digital marketing business before age 30, built a photography business that was attacked and left in an expensive lawsuit.... And through it all Brit was seeking her identity.

Who am I if not a wife?

Who am I if not an entrepreneur?

Who am I if I am not earning money as my own boss.....and so on....

I will tell you who she is and you will hear it in this episode. Because we barely talk about her current business (though we need to because WOW - The Unstoppable SheEO). We talk about her heart and soul. We talk about the ugly messy hard finding of identity. We talk about navigating and seeking growth when we can barely get out of bed. We weep, we laugh and I bonded with this woman in ways that are still blowing my mind, so praise the Lord for this new connection.

Come listen, feel heard and know that your story isn't over yet. In fact, it's just beginning. Because the hard is the way to the GOLD.

Hey hey hey Ladies! I have another beautiful treat for you in this episode with Katie Cooper, who is in live-time (Aug 2025) stepping back from her corporate gig to go deeper into her coaching business!! Katie has elementary aged kids, a job, a husband and a coaching business. She is very much an everyday woman, like you and me while so beautifully becoming MORE of herself by building self trust, taking safe steps forward and being so open to just how much she can create for herself in this lifetime.

Katie’s story begins in the world of occupational therapy, where she poured herself into caring for others—until the weight of burnout, motherhood, and the pandemic brought her to a breaking point. What came next was a courageous pivot: enrolling in health coaching school for her own healing, discovering her passion for helping moms regulate stress, and slowly but steadily building a coaching practice that aligns with her values.

We talk about:

💫 Redefining self-care as a necessity, not a luxury

💫 How to trust your gut and celebrate past wins when stepping into something new

💫 The power of gradual transitions—balancing stability while pursuing what lights you up. Especially this. She isn't quitting her job to coach full time, she is reducing her hours at her job to make more space for her coaching business. Conversations with her husband, looking at finances and planning the transition over time. I love this so much because it's far more relatable to the everyday life. And what really hit for me was Katie recognizing for two years she hedged until she could no longer keep false hope about her career advancing any further. She hit the wall at work, so the shift then had to become up to her.

Katie reminds us that entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing, and that small, steady steps forward can add up to a whole new chapter. Don't judge and compare your story, rather really lean in to your own guidance and the safety you need to make the changes you want come true!!

Go hang out with Katie at:

It doesn't get more real than this, stick with us as we laugh and take photos of the tech glitch (which maybe did not like the add on to the intro!?? haha). The first two mins are raw, unfiltered and HILARIOUS. I am keeping it in on principle and as always - an example to not be perfect because your worth is not reliant on perfection!

Ok, so the amazing guest is Andrea Liebross, a coach, speaker and author of She Thinks Big, who joins us to share how her everyday life became her dream life, on top of marrying a physician! ha. Coaching was a calling, and it came once she hired a coach to help her.

Andrea takes us through her "origin story" and then defines the structure of her business, where she took baby steps and then big leaps (because ambitious women need both!). How she developed thought options in her coaching, her "climbing the mountain" analogy, her TRUST acronym and the "deeper dive" into the differences between a coach, consultant and counsellor.

She shares how her own “messy middle” taught her to stop waiting for the right time and start taking decisive action sooner, faster and with less excuses in the way.

So, ready to leap? This conversation will give you the courage to stop waiting and start building. Go follow Andrea from her one stop shop at: www.andreaslinks.com and take her up on her offer to have a 20 mins discovery call with you.

I am going to let you in on a not-so-secret because I need you to understand that passion and ability apply when you are in alignment. You don't need to be anything but who you are.

Nancy met her husband who owned and originally operated A'qto as a cycling clothing company. After he blogged about a beautiful ride, people reached out to ask about tours. Nancy helped Damian create the business we see today - amazing cycling tours in ITALY.

And here is the not-so-secret. NANCY DOES NOT CYCLE herself. And in fact that has made the business even better. Because they offer "non cycling partner" experiences as part, or parallel to the cycling tours. The spouses can come!

A trip with something for everyone, together. It's brilliant. I love this because it allow for complimentary skills and created a business so robust and unique, fully using the skills and talents and abilities of Nancy and Damian.

Nancy shares what it’s like to marry into a passion she didn’t share (cycling!) and how she carved her own unique path within the business she co-runs with her partner, Damian.

Together, they’ve spent the last 10 years creating unforgettable cycling tours in Italy—and on the day of recording, they released a brand new Adventure Tour program that includes kayaking, yoga, ocean swimming, and more. Allowing the business to evolve and allowing Nancy and Damian to evolve even more deeply together.

🌿 In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • The story of how Nancy and Damian met at a winery and built a life they love—between Italy and Australia

  • Why Nancy never forced herself to become a cyclist—and how she still found deep fulfillment in the business

  • What it takes to balance a romantic partnership and entrepreneurship with grace and joy

  • How they trust their intuition and evolve their offerings as they grow

  • A peek behind the scenes of launching something brand new (on the very day of recording!)

📍Tune in and be reminded: You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing to build something beautiful

This is such a genuine heartfelt conversation. While I would say Kirstin's business success is vastly different than mine, our hearts and souls saw each other. So let that be a reminder to your safety of who you are. You don't need to prove it "on paper". Kirstin, with all of her business accomplishments, is still very much a real woman, with a gentle heart creating a reality of what she wants - impact, fulfilment, money, fun and growth.

She knows where she has challenges, she trusts her skills, and she feels deeply safe to be all of who she is.

She has written a book, she has restored her body from two auto immune afflictions, she has built multiple businesses online and brick and mortar. She once had a team of 28 employees....Some very real outcomes to discovering what she can do by who she can be.

She learned firsthand that success means nothing if burnout takes over. Now, she guides high achievers to master sales, resilience, and balance. With 30+ years of experience, she knows this with 100% certainty: if selling feels hard, you’re doing it wrong.

Leading with Intuition, Integrity, and Impact

In this powherfull episode of Startup Stories, Jensen Savage clearly articulates what it means to "follow your soul." She thought she wanted to grow up to be a corporate lawyer, and while she was pursuing that, she was also working in social media and marketing. Life delivered her a "reverse engineered" example of what the results of her vision could be and she decided NAH that's not for me!! The outfall was years of recalibrating and creating a new vision, one that filled her sense of purpose and accomplishment.

Jensen leaned into curiosity and intuition—and found herself on the path to entrepreneurship.

Founding Savage Growth Partners became more than just starting an agency—it became a mission. Her firm helps service-based businesses grow with clarity, intention, and holistic strategy, blending marketing, operations, sales, and finance to build sustainable and sellable companies.

Throughout this conversation, Jensen opens up about the values that guide her—integrity, service, and deep alignment with her purpose. She reminds us that success isn’t just about numbers; it’s about fulfillment, growth, and building something that reflects who you truly are.

If you’ve ever felt the tension between what looks good on paper and what feels right in your spirit, this episode is your permission slip. Jensen’s story is a beautiful example of what happens when women trust their gut, honour their values, and lead with both wisdom and heart (AND WITH SYSTEMS!!! Ladies get the systems in place!).

This woman is living in the reality she desired. Her entrepreneurial journey started AFTER she quit her job. With savings in the bank Jennifer gave herself freedom to get to know herself through creative pursuits. One thing really did lead to another BUT Jennifer was actively directing her choices, her actions and making her own opportunities. Self advocating, after years in corporate safely and complacently NOT doing that or being that version of herself. (Ahem - anything is possible if you decide and take action!)

Jennifer has that "it" factor - confidence, visionary mindset, creative strategy. Her company, Shoott, took five years to hit profitability, now grossing $10M annually serving in 60 cities with 750+ photographers (at 7 years and counting). Shoott is a photography booking platform connecting clients with vetted photographers for affordable and exceptional shoots.

I love this so much - she scaled, sustainably and structured. This is tangible business building, CEO Mindset level. And she keeps bringing more of herself into the business - heart, sustainable hustle, excellent team members and a whole lot of wisdom. From creative pivots to scaling with integrity, this convo is packed with golden nuggets for anyone navigating entrepreneurship—especially women carving their own path.

✨ We dive into:

The business model behind Shoot and how it actually* works

  • What it really takes to go from corporate to creative (hello reinvention!)

  • Lessons in hiring, team-building, and leading with self-awareness

  • Why self-advocacy, community, and not waiting to be “picked” matters more than ever

From Corporate Climb to Personal Power with Sasha Elezovski

In this soul-stirring and truth-telling episode, Sasha joins me to share her beautifully messy and powerful journey from corporate powerhouse to purpose-driven entrepreneur. After navigating a tough divorce and awakening to a deeper sense of self, Sasha made the bold leap to entrepreneurship—not just to pay the bills, but to prove (ahem) a certain someone very, very wrong. 😏 (herself mostly - no drama here loves!!).

She doesn't hold back as we talk about the unspoken challenges women face in corporate—negotiating salaries, setting boundaries without guilt, and trying way too hard to be seen as “enough” all while managing a home life and parenthood too!! If you’ve ever felt like you're climbing a ladder that’s leaning on the wrong wall, this convo will meet you right where you are.

We also dive into Sasha’s vision for helping other women glow up in corporate life without burning out. One of the first small + brave steps Melissa Franks took when she left corporate to start her own business was calling a friend to ask if they needed HER help in their business. THEY DID and that's how she landed her first client.

The truth behind the journey? She was barely making enough at the onset to keep food on the table, as a newly separated woman with three boys. She's now standing loud and proud as a spokeswoman and leader in operations and wholistic business development. A mere 18 months later ha! Amazing right! Her first 7-8 months were tough though, until she gave herself her own "big girl talk" and treated herself like she would a client. Then BAM, momentum!

Now, don't judge yourself against this, it's different for everyone. The point here is to show you what IS possible, obstacles and all.

So tune in, turn it up and get ready for these key takeaways when you are starting out:

  • Prioritize the customer journey over vanity metrics to understand and repeat what drives actual purchases. (its not likes comments, but how clients find you and what they search for that leads them to you. then give them a 5 star experience with simple systems - that I can help you set up!)
  • Professionalize your business presentation to build trust and attract the right clients. Think of your coaching portfolio, not your B-Roll! You are building a business, not a friends list.
  • Balance entrepreneurship and personal life by setting expectations and including your family in the journey. Building a business is WORK. Sometimes you have to choose life over biz and vice versa. Communicate this to your family members, they are your home team!
  • Persevere through challenges, seeing them as stepping stones and preparation for what’s next. You are in TRAINING for a marathon, not a sprint!
  • Understand that discomfort is part of the process—embrace it. What you build on social media etc is your resume. Do it with intention and attention!

✅ Next Steps

  • Grab Melissa’s freebie on key business metrics to track: https://oncallcoo.myflodesk.com/5metrics
  • Keep refining your strategy—consistency, not perfection, leads to growth.
  • Look for ways to scale smartly (build a business with systems that can grow with your level of service / client load!) and increase credibility in your niche (who are your people and what do they need to hear from you!)

Angie is currently going live for 100 days on substack. Does that feel like a big commitment? How are you reacting to her decision and what would it look like for you to follow through on a decision you chose to make, like that?

See our hesitation holds us back - the desire exist yet the willingness to be uncomfortable in taking action to create the desire tends to be where we fall short. Because it is unknown and doesn't feel safe.

So what if instead you started creating safety first, one day at a time, one small action at a time. This is the meat of my conversation with Angie, a gorgeous and poetic woman who is working full time (yep in a job!) and coaching while taking care of her aging mom (who asks her what's for dinner these days!). PS she also runs a brick + mortar (which is mostly closed while she flirts with "divorcing" it for good.....).

Angie is an expressive arts therapist and eloquently described our lives as an ongoing piece of art, where we continue to add to the canvas, bits of this, scraps of that, all mediums and modalities to create a masterpiece; up until the day we "expire."

She helps midlife women navigate life’s transitions—whether it’s caregiving, burnout, or rediscovering themselves—through journaling and creative expression. In a world that asks us to keep pushing forward, she creates space for slowing down, processing emotions, and reconnecting with what truly matters. Small, intentional shifts can bring you back to yourself—one day, one breath at a time.

How will you lead yourself from your values and deep sense of who you are (not who people want you to be) to create your masterpiece - not perfection, but a very raw and storytelling picture of your life and your dreams.....?

Listen in, maybe take notes or sketches on this one and I would love to hear what came up for you. I am just an everyday woman like you seeking to make the best of everyday! xoxo

She was working as a teacher when God planted the seed of QUIT in her heart. For TWO YEARS she prayed about it. Then as she was hesitating around formalizing her notice, her principal prompted her (God poke!). Then covid! She vulnerably spoke to her husband about God's plans, quit - stay at home, work? from home..... And they executed on it.

Fast forward from circa 2019/2020, Sabrina has built her podcast booking agency, which is how I first met her 1 year + ago (she booked a guest on my show! Paula Tobey!) and while I saw her online, I didn't know her story.

Until she posted in a FB Group we are both in and I knew I had to explore the BTS with her. So here we are. Navigating vulnerable convos with spouses, revamping family lifestyle, venturing into business now knowing what to do or what service to pursue/offer, to landing on something so aligned, right and fulfilling that it's simply become "how did this never NOT exist!". With themes of slowing down, building your leadership and completely surrendering to the "mess" and ongoing growth. The perfect is the journey, not a destination.

Our conversation underscores the importance of taking risks and persevering through uncertainty when pursuing new opportunities. Because its God's plan for you, not your plan for you. Sabrina understands feeling ill-equipped for new challenges, and learning to hand it over and trust God to provide what she needed - because He trusts her and chose her. From this spiritual understanding, you can do so much more.

Take a load of yourself and put the load on God!! Ok - give us a listen, be validated and normalized in your journey!

The Power of Storytelling in Entrepreneurship with Amanda Johnson

In this episode, Mia sits down with Amanda Johnson, the Story Oracle, to explore the intersection of business, storytelling, and personal transformation. Amanda shares her entrepreneurial journey—how she evolved from editing manuscripts to guiding individuals and organizations in uncovering their deepest narratives.

They discuss the challenges of entrepreneurship, comparing it to a spiritual journey that requires self-trust, vulnerability, and a willingness to embrace both success and failure. Amanda reveals how the hero’s journey shapes both life and business, emphasizing the importance of asking the right questions, rather than seeking definitive answers.

Together, they dive into the natural ebb and flow of personal and professional growth, the importance of pivoting in business, and how storytelling serves as a tool for healing and empowerment. Amanda also shares her vision for a story revolution—scaling her writing quests, retreats, and narrative medicine tools to support a broader audience.

Life and business are about seasons, not shortcuts or instant gratification. Allow space and safety for each piece of the story to weave together to create the greatest masterpiece you can imagine, your WHOLE life story!

Tune in for an inspiring conversation on self-leadership, embracing change, and using storytelling as a vehicle for transformation.

Not only is she beautiful on the inside and out, Amanda has healed from Hashimoto's and healed her daughter from upwards of 10 seizures a day..... through the power of Functional Medicine.

Functional medicine is a holistic, patient-centered approach to healthcare that aims to identify and address the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms, often incorporating lifestyle factors and a systems-biology perspective. Listening to Amanda share information and educate on this health modality is fascinating. We talk about menopause, the integrated internal system, cellular composition and blood work. I was absorbed listening to her and visualizing my internal ecosystem, the one I think is healthy, reliable and sturdy. On the surface level.... but as I age into menopause, I want to make sure I support my body internally.

Amanda talks about the importance of mindset and thought awareness as much as she talks about proteins and PFFV eating (protein, fibre, healthy fats + veggies!!)

What I love about this conversation is the behind the scenes of Amanda's journey, from overwhelmed and reactive mom; to peaceful and still LEADER. Leader in herself, with her family and with her clients. And how truly being a leader means facing discomfort, growing and increasing visibility to serve more people.

She is still a mom, a wife and regular woman - she just became very clear and convicted on how to serve others and invested in herself professionally to help her family and use that experience to help others.

I highly recommend going through her hormone assessment and taking a new level of responsibility + stewardship over your divine body!!!

Real Life, Real Talk, Real Nutrition

Tired? Sluggish? Burnt out? Fighting Cravings? Mood swings? Meg is here to help!!

She helps busy women gain control of their health and lose the weight they want so they can feel comfortable in their skin, gain the energy they need and have the confidence they desire!

I "picked Meg up" in a FB Group :D (of course I did!) and its been love ever since. A sister in Christ, a Faith Leader in Health + Wellbeing, and especially a woman who went from overweight, overworked, overwhelmed and focused on the priorities that didn't actually align with her real values + self, Meg IS what she "sells".

She IS the transformation and the coaching journey results she offers. I love her heart, her clarity and her certainty in helping women take better care of themselves, in focusing on her family versus her work and living a Christ driven life daily.

In 1991 a bushy tailed, eager and passionate Jennifer went to bank after bank with her Business Plan seeking a $50k loan to open a closet business. After more no's than shelves in a closet ;) she finally heard YES BUT "you need to supply your own $15k + this bank will (only) give you $35k".

She made it work. 34 YEARS LATER - older than her young adult children - Jen is still running St. Louis Closet Co. as a holistic, team based, community-connected company. I love Jen's staying power and her ongoing self leadership, mixed with her uncertainty.

THIS IS NORMAL AND REAL. We are all the same - it doesn't matter how big or small your business is, we are just trying to figure it out and make good decisions. And this was such a key point in this conversation - taking action comes from making decisions.

You make an average of 33,000 to 35,000 decisions a day (Harvard Business Review - Jen I Googled it!). They won't all be good (candy for breakfast? a fifth cup of coffee at 3 pm? ha!) but that's OK and it's just math of probabilities. In business + life.

So keep practicing your decision making to guide your actions and see what you create. Jen is just as excited today as she was in 1991 about her business.

I think it's been a good decision for her and I am excited to see how 2025 shapes her even further!

Anna VanAgtmael is the founder of Wandering Roots. She hosts adventure retreats for women all over the world and helps entrepreneurs plan and host their own profitable retreats. Ummm that's more of what she does..... who she is though.... is what we talk about in this episode!!

Anna is funny, intelligent and down to earth. She started her business in 2018 and worked it as a "side hustle" (I have to have a whole convo about that moniker though....) for two years before taking the leap into full time entrepreneurship..... and then! COVID!

So she pivoted. She leveraged her passion and clarity with hosting women's retreats into HOW to host them (logistics to content to marketing etc). There are so many valuable lessons in this episode on making choices, on conviction, on seeing life higher than the routines of the day to day.

Who Anna is today, to who she was circa 2017/2018 is vastly different, and yet just more of who she has always been. It's far too easy to get comfortable with the "book of life" approach to life (get a job, get married, grow up and be boring) and when we are called for more, it comes to get us. Often in the unfortunate yet break you free, shatter you to pieces way of a life changing event. While we don't wish that to be cause for WHY we evolve, in our conversation we explore whether or not we would evolve if not for such events....

And so, whether or not YOU face such a life changing event, the truth is you are always capable and available to make a change, a new choice, a new way regardless.... So will you ANSWER the call anyway?

Brevity, courage and really, just pure willingness, carefree childlike curiosity of.... what else is possible.... is "all it takes!"

From molecular diagnostics to.... women's retreats. Who would have thought! This is a gorgeous and relatable story of an everyday woman, just like you and me, choosing more!

Time to enter STUDIO 54!!!! hahaha. YOU GUYSSSSSS. Caren Cooper is on the powherfull stage today and she is delivering FIIIIIREEEEEE. Let's boogie on the dance floor for this incredible episode!!! It's pure floooowwwww.

Caren & I met a few years back in a mindset program and her transformation is an incredible testament to the power of saying YES TO YOURSELF. Caren basically lived as a suppressed, un-expressed, stressed woman for the majority of her life. She kept her bold fire dim and damp. but when she said YES to the program, she said yes to letting go of over 40 years of pent up insecurity, lack, and shrinking.

From corporate America to self led entrepreneur, Caren now fully owns who she is, lives out loud and is a true example of how simple your healing & transformation can be. Pick a coach, DO THE WORKKKKKKKK, don't just buy a program but become the program. Which really ladies means slow down, just do the one thing and let it rebuild you to who you always were. No pressure, no judgement, just sit in the discovery of limiting beliefs, of your inner critic and take timmmmeeee to purge and release the junk that weighs you down.

Because once you truly incubate yourself in this part of the journey, you emerge as a massive & magnetic firework ready to really LIVE. And this is what we talk about through this episode. Truly an example of one my fave powherfull tag lines "Overcome yourself to become yourself".

LET'SSSS GOOOOOOO. Buckle up, its such a good episode!!!!

I admit I was nervous to meet with Shaté, her portfolio reads like a BIG DEAL. And that warrants credit - she has "accomplished" a LOT in her life already, vision, drive and impact. Full out pursuit of who she is / was.... success and accolades.....

So yeah, I was like "who am I to speak with her about life and business...." But the instant we saw each other on the screens, the energy was there. We shared the lifeness of life and a laugh and it felt like connecting a long time friend I was just thrilled about hanging out with.

My point? Who you are is not what you do. Who you are is your heart, your realness and your ongoing pursuit of that - of that spirit led, peaceful inner self who leads herself with clarity, with vision, with impact and for the sake of the service therein. Not so much attached to the outcome. So voila, welcome to the beautiful, relatable and honest Shaté Hayes.

She is a creative strategist and storyteller on a mission to help professionals everywhere feel a sense of purpose and pride in their careers. She spent over a decade in her first career as a professional dancer/choreographer making stories come to life on live stages. As an edtech leader, she embedded strategy and storytelling into the career content and programs her team delivered. Now, as a consultant and founder of Career Steward, Shaté helps creatives and nonprofits tell the story of their work so they can get more of it.

I an in such awe of the amazing, powHERfull women I meet through this podcast. Who knew how incredible this show would become for my heart, for your heart, and for my genuine ever growing circle of "online" friends..... I just may have to have an in person event with all these beautiful guests one day.......

I share this because whatever you are feeling, desiring, wondering about being possible, IS POSSIBLE. We are genuinely "just everyday women" making moves (not BIG moves in all cases) towards "more"

The beautiful, gentle and encouraging Karen Sarmento left a 19 year career in nursing to start her coaching practice. NINETEEN YEARS. She stays on as auxiliary now but has transitioned into her business because she can serve in a different way and have more life flexibility, more income control and of course - more spirit led fulfillment.

So how willing are you to try something different, not better, just different. After all, we only have this one life right? So why not find out how much MORE is possible...!!!

Time to join us for a love filled conversation on being willing to look for more of yourself in the everyday. Karen is on a mission to empower women to redefine what success TRULY means to them and to create a life by design.

She has created a step-by-step program to help you rediscover your passion, find your true purpose, and make a meaningful impact. JUST LIKE SHE DID.

Big or small moves, JUST MOVE and SEE WHAT MORE IS POSSIBLE! And then go hang out with Karen at:

Trust yourself sister, let us show you how much you can actually trust yourself. Karen's freebie here is an awesome 10 Step WorkBook to actually "in your face" show you your confidence, done with Karen's gentle heart and encouragement. MOVE - this is a great first / 1000th step!!

Are you ready? Are you open? Are you relaxed and available to receive as we pour into you with another fabulous episode of startup stories with Dominiece Clifton; a woman who has overcome herself to BEcome herself.

I love this "bio" in her own words:

I'm a momma, a spiritual guide, a business coach, a healer, a teacher, and a modern day medicine woman. But really, I’m just a girl who had the courage to say YES! YES to my soul’s calling. YES to becoming someone new. YES to living life on my own terms.

Can you be courageous to let more of who you are out? Do you know who she is, can you feel her inside of you? What you can create for yourself is completely possible and REAL.

And its not complicated, its not "far away" and its not expensive!!! Its just about choosing, choosing more deeply, more intentionally and choosing "higher" than the complacent status quo we can easily fall into (this is a no shame, no judgement comment sisters!).

HOOOOWWW we always want to know HOW. "Sounds good on paper MIA but HOW THE FRIG DO I DO "THIS"!!!? Right???? I feel you girl!!!!

And Dom and I talk about HOW in this episode. How is imperfect, how is changing, how is uncomfortable, HOW TAKES TIME. And then, time passes and HOW becomes more of you, takes over and the HOW becomes the BEING.

Dom gained momentum with daily habits and now offers her "4% Formula for Success" an easy and bite sized habit builder to support your mind, your faith and your body.

I could go on, but I'd rather you hit play and lean in. Receive, believe and then HOW it into reality!! OXOX

Charmin how I love thee, let me count the ways!!!!

disclaimer we got going so fast I didn't even record the intro, so hang on close & tight and lets gooooo!!!!

I am constantly blown away and yet so "of course" about the powHERfull women I meet via this podcast. Thank you listeners for being there to receive and give back to us. When these convos occur, we lean deep into your heart and aim to speak life into your spirit. We feel connected to you and we relate to you.

This could not be more true for this episode. Charm and I are connected through the supernatural for sure and the flow of this conversation takes you into that vortex.

From the employee floors to the expanded self, we explore how you create what you want on the daily, and that it doesn't need to be BIG moves. Sisters, everyday empowerment is available NOW and its when you tap into that, that Moore Charm haha! like what I did there! comes forward.

Charm and I are both still working jobs but it's not an excuse or barrier to pursuing higher work, higher self and most of all, ALL OF SELF. This is the freedom we seek, this is the spirit alive everyday, this is the eternal magic and fulfillment we desire. It is not some external circumstance, it is an inner state of BEING. Seek your divine calling, not wealth, and allow for things to come outside your forcing, outside your control, outside of you. Show up and prepare to receive. Be the woman who does receive because of who she is being.....!

Hold on to earth for this one, because we fly hiiiiiigh and away here!

Virginia is BACK and this time we tear apart the "should" from the who you really are and what role actually flows most naturally for you. I love the softer side Virginia presents in this conversation on positioning yourself for highest impact versus "spotlight". Stay with me, as we unpack the different ways you can find fulfillment without having to be front and center. We all have roles to play that bring forth mutual benefit. Sometimes we might "think" (ahem or be sold" on the idea that we all want a similar life or success story, but when we get deeper into our own truth, we can see that our meaning is self led and brings us to the right environments and results.

So - get clear on who you love to be around and to serve. Become a trusted voice for that group by mirroring their needs and challenges. And then really consider the value of building strategic partnerships and a supportive team to complement one's own strengths and weaknesses. -> Even if it doesn't look like you though it would!!! (Let go of outcome).

There is abundance all around, and we don't have to operate in a state of heavy "doing/performing" energy (masculine) to get what we want. There is a divine reason for different energies, for balance of masculine and feminine. They each fulfill different roles and each need each other for holistic outcomes. Virginia beautifully articulates finding the right balance between masculine and feminine energies. And she cautions against over-emphasizing masculine traits like drive and ambition at the expense of the feminine qualities of nurturing and community.

She encourages focusing on experiences and relationships rather than chasing arbitrary financial goals, and being open to unexpected opportunities and resources.

This is a fab episode from a fireball of a woman who is presently finding her softer, surrender and laisser faire frequency in the pursuit of greatness!!!!

You know what we (as a society) don't talk enough about? Retirement. When it comes to this topic we focus on the money, maybe the "fun", the "travel," the "freedom" we are supposed to have.... In this conversation Wendy and I share insights and empowered states of BEing on preparing for this life transition and embodying it throughout life. Wendy also normalizes the feelings of doubt, grief and identity shift her clients feel when they reach retirement. ITS OK TO NOT BE EXCITED ABOUT IT.

The online world sells coaching in SO MANY ways, including "laptop lifestyle, beachside with a drink" - but is this actually what we want?

What is YOUR deal with booze? To be cool? To socialize or look good? Or is it a crutch and avoidance of what's going on inside of you?

This convo was fire, no surprise there. But I am particularly thrilled about this one because booze isn't often given the stage and safety to think about WHY we drink.

Chrystal drank for the wrong reasons until 2018, as a way to avoid, pretend and show up for others rather than herself. Giving up booze led her into an identity shift, where she had to navigate even more of herself than when she was drinking. Are you following me? The real work began when the distraction was removed! What freedom to be discovered, while being in such an unknown space at the same time.

This convo is about self discovery, being healthy, being of sober mind - which we get into about 2/3 of the way, and heavy on the Lord!!! Because we LOVE Him, but even as a non Christian you will LOVE this interview. Get in here already!!!!

Please note I do not edit my episodes and there is a small lag at the start, ride it out bcz this is a VALUABLE discussion xoxo Thank you for understanding (I don't "try to be perfect or polished" because baby I am who I am!!!)

In her own words....

Since 2018, I’ve been alcohol-free, and life is good. Today, I teach Christian women like you to embrace an alcohol-free life and unlock your true purpose. We approach this through a biblical and practical lens so you can break free for good!

It’s such an honor to support Christian leaders, aspiring leaders, and highly driven women who want to change their relationship with alcohol. If this resonates with you, I invite you to join my free community on Facebook (Kingdom Alliance Community), TikTok, or Instagram.

Virginia is a dynamo, we clicked right away and in this episode Virginia from shares her extensive business building portfolio to serve you in what to do, how and why when you are getting started.

As the Referral Diva®, Virginia Muzquiz is passionate about empowering purpose-driven entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and fund their dreams. A key takeaway for me from this conversation is to SERVE. Create your favorite offer and get people in it. Make a deal, offer as a hot sale, beta test - just make it come alive and ask those who take it to give your feedback and testimonials. Your offer starts to take on its own life once it goes through someone else. Don't worry about audience building, web design, fonts, bundles etc. Just get your prototype into motion, see how it does and then leverage those first few people into more.

Sandra has been coaching online for over 10 years; she grew as a result of her own yearning to be more... more her, more true, more expressed. It's a story so many of us feel and wonder if it will ever come true.

Well, Sandra will tell you it will IF YOU BELIEVE IT AND ALIGN YOUR ACTIONS TO CREATING IT. I love the softness of her femininity combined with the toughness of her "wild woman" which cuts right into you, confronting and spot on.

I am also excited to meet now, well into her first pregnancy, and see how she further evolves with the adventure of motherhood (as I find it is very transformative with or without self development work!).

The juiciness of this episode is really in how very possible it is for you, and me, and her and her and her, to release who we were (are) trying to be, and just get on with the business of being who we really are. I love releasing the external forcing to allow the internal flowing to come through. So tune in, turn up an dlet's goooo!!! OX

Karen DeLoach and I had a great time talking about God, healing and creative outlets for personal transformation. Which in effect, has been her very journey from Ministry to online entrepreneur.

Karen is an award-winning artist/art teacher, author, minister, wife, mother, grandmother and speaker/coach. She has a BFA in painting/ drawing and an MA in Studio Art. She has written three art books: How to Draw, How to Paint and Art History & Appreciation, which are used in her college and online classes.

By using art, Karen has released her God given gifts for her own well being and as a modality of pure expression and healing for others. Through art she helps people get to know themselves, express their emotions, release the past and create something beautiful to behold.

She "started off" as an artist, art teacher, and homeschooling mom. She discussed her passion for helping people, especially creatives, discover and express their God-given creativity. She has had to pivot and grow in who she is, in order to serve her gifts. A relatable journey as always.

The balance comes from bridging and balancing the left-brain and right-brain abilities, whether in business, art, or personal growth. We emphasized the importance of embracing both the analytical and creative aspects of oneself, and how this integration can lead to greater fulfillment, impact, and innovation.

I am beyond honoured to introduce you to the extremely lovely and powherfull Bessi Graham. We were introduced by a mutual friend and I wasn't sure how I would my own with her, but here we are (note to you, you are worthy and capable because your heart is designed for what is placed in front of you!).

Bessi has built a substantial business around MERGING MONEY AND MEANING. She speaks about growing WHOLE-istically, not conditionally and fostering a business culture of impact, meaning, authenticity and money.... Using multiple factors for a robust model versus just cash grabs and multi figure high ticket (all that jazz the coaching world LOVES to go on about).

Her approach and guidance leads you to build a business in deep service versus for revenue priorities, BECAUSE SERVICE BRINGS REVENUE!

She pours into us in this episode and I soak up every little bit. You will find wisdom, genuine connection and clarity on how to fine tune your current business into one of deeper meaning, by merging your money to your meaning! xo

And please go find and follow Bessi - she hosts free workshops regularly to pour into you and teach you a higher way to build a business that fulfills your soul!

Confession - I have been admiring Steph's work for a while. Coming from the Online Business Manager world, Steph represents the GOLD STANDARD to me, from the outside of her biz...... I was THRILLED when she booked onto my show, a chance to speak to a biz crush! egad!

And then, it just gets better - because BEHIND all the amazing systems, success and platforms she has built for a truly wonderful approach in running a business, is a down to earth woman of HEART with self and mom worries like the rest of us. GET TO KNOW WHO YOU FOLLOW. Do they let you behind the scenes? Can you feel their heart? These are the people who will really pour into you because they are not here to make a buck, they are here to serve. Steph is one of those people!

Sabine and I became insta friends! Watch out for us as we team up to serve you and help you grow yourself through growing your business.

When Sabine first started her entrepreneurial journey, she felt totally overwhelmed and kept overthinking her marketing and offers (i.e. too much thinking, not enough action). The insecurities and comparisons of whether or not she "was good enough" hindered her from just being who she is and creating the impact that is hers to create!

So she knows how it feels, internally and externally and that's why she now serves through Reach for Greatness - we all have "it", and we are what's in the way of achieving it.

I love Sabine's heart and genuine desire to see entrepreneurs succeed. It's not longer about her, but about how she can help others (read it between the lines, same goes with you! Get over yourself xo and get on with it!). We will lovingly encourage you with relatable stories and how in this episode xo.

Catherine was a real pleasure and easy guest. In this conversation we dive into leveraging your existing experience to start a business and finding your zone of genius therein. AND we get into all kinds of QUIZ elements as a lead generator for your business!

Personally I tried quizzes and fell flat but after this episode I feel empowered and willing to try again because its fun, easier than I thought and has potential for meaningful growth! (Pre-qualify your leads as Catherine says!).

Catherine was commuting upwards of 3 hours per day in her 30+ year corporate career in market research. Finally enough was enough and she started exploring other ways to bring in revenue. Network marketing was the first leap but she sucked at lead generation, when she found quizzes and started using those, SHE TRIPLED HER LEADS AND DOUBLED HER SALES.

Catharine O'Leary, known as the 'Quiz Queen,' is an expert in client connection. With over three decades in market research and consumer insights, she specializes in attracting ideal clients and boosting revenue. Sharon and I hit it off in EMAIL prior to our first face to face (virtual). This is how alive she is - you can feel her passion, her playfulness and her eagerness to get chomping on this new business with ZEST and OPENESS.

Sharon is actually designing a speaker's platform for herself, so she will be delivering her message to groups of women in person and online, to inspire, motivate and SHOW THEM just how much they gained in their years as a stay at home mom, and help hold them through the space of figuring out what they want to do when their kids grow up! (Isn't that a clever spin on the old "what you do want to do? tagline!).

I see this as filling the gap we often see in retirees - NOW WHAT. Fear, uncertainty and staying in the familiar. Well, one dose of Sharon will fire you up and she will support you through the skills you've mastered, the options to choose from; be it re-enter the workforce, start volunteering, choose a new hobby or start a business to name a few.

Because your story, is also her story.

After staying home with her three kids for 20 years, Sharon quite unexpectedly discovered the transformative power of motherhood. She realized she had developed a wealth of skills and knowledge that equipped her for a range of pursuits beyond the home, helping her establish her next act. Now, as her kids have grown and flown, she’s on a mission to empower moms to recognize their potential and chart new paths in life. She did it herself- going back to school to bring her marketing skillset into the 21st century and started competing in Latin Ballroom dance. Sharon has had a blast reinventing herself and is loving hosting the Mom To MORE™ podcast, creating the Mom To MORE™ Guide and writing content for various clients.

Her free gift to you is her Mom To MORE™ Guide mini-book. 15 skills and talents you don't realize you have. https://mailchi.mp/0de1efbb94e6/mom-to-more-guide

Ladies & Ladies (& Gentlemen!!) introducing the one, the only, the Emily Taradash! A retired theater producer, a standup comic, a relationship coach and a recovered hustle woman. All of these incredible skills, talents, humour and heart blended into a dynamo of a woman whom I met for a virtual coffee while she sat outside in a parka and completely dropped in with me.

Instant chemistry and laughter, in this episode we explore the lessons under the experiences of life. Where to recognize time for growth AND how to choose starting that new path. Emily shares wisdom, humour and deep experiences that she overcame to become the woman she now references as "Your Married Wingwoman in Love, Community and Comedy" She truly embodies these elements and has evolved with her business, allowing space to explore what works for her and her clients (She started as a burnout coach!).

Emily is genuine, kind, insightful and I just want to hang out with her more! PS She is currently moving to Kansas which ups the fun factor for me, what about you? Kansas! Can't wait to see how she expands in all that nature and wonder!

Anne experienced the greatest loss of her life which is now the greatest gift to her, her family and those who want to heal and absorb some of their grief. In the retirement stage of life, the business is free to just be of service and this relationship also brings a more pure approach and ability for impact. So as you listen, consider how it would feel to have that genuine purpose of service, detached from outcome, as this is a powerful way to build your business (what I like to call "heartset").

Anne is doing well, clients find her organically but she isn't solely offering her service though the business. The service, grief counselling and its connection to disarray, is about helping people carry loss with them. And this is something she wants to have widely available because she needs it for her own grief process and to honour her son, whom she lost.

How would you run your business if you were doing for the pure pleasure and desire to connect with someone and serve them?

What would you be able to let go of?

All this attachment weighs us down and detracts from the honest, behind the scenes "thing" we wish to create - the impact, the transformation, the support, for someone else. As you listen to this episode lean in to these themes and consider how you can let go in order to receive.... OXOX

ps - I love Anne's heart, she is a genuine and caring woman who can relate and hold the space for others as a true gift, as a true bi-product of her experience and transformation. Her service is the result of her growth and her true heart revealed.

Shaina has God sized dreams all right, or more like He has God Sized Dreams for her! And what's beautiful about this reversal is that she knows her work is not on her shoulders, her worth or her self belief. Her gifts are as an Administrator & Encourager. Her heart is so big matched with a mind for strategy and organization.

Opening to God's plans for her life is not always easy, but it is always possible and carrying that sense of peace has increased, improved and proved clarity for her purpose and service to others.

We talk about creating ourselves in order to show up and serve. We both have young children, demands in life and a strong desire to be part of something bigger. One such tool that Shaina introduced me to is the Sacred 60 Challenge (links below). What has been so integral for both of us in using this challenge is the accountability and data on how much we show up as HER.

Having some sort of tool could be the right technique for you to see and appreciate what actions you are taking and motivate you to keep going. It certainly has helped me understand what flows easily (business, journalling, reading) to what I resist (exercise, prayer, learning).

One of the take away's here being - find something to help you stay committed and tap into the supernatural power available all around you to make the journey a little easier - or rather, possible.

I've known Heather (online) for a few years now, always loved her down to earth playfulness. When she posted about diversifying revenue streams, including in real estate (rentals!) I invited her for a conversation. It is so important to normalize and demonstrate the many ways people "survive" in the online space - as a coach, service provider, entrepreneur.

This isn't an all or nothing game, its more like an everything game! Play as much as you can and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Often, our money patterns come from a long time ago imprinting. We may even have lost the connection to that event, which can make the rewiring daunting, on our own.

Heather coaches her clients to uncover the "why" beneath surface problems of money habits and belief patterns. Awareness of deeper drivers is key to empowered change and results.

Fronting as a CFO, she found an opening to deeper healing work through money. She now helps her clients heal relationships with money and reduce anxiety through inner child work, restoring a sense of safety and self-acceptance.

This is a beautiful conversation with insight and advice on your relationship with your money and how to shift out of the status quo and into clarity and momentum!!

And all reviews of the show are appreciated to help us share our message!

If you Google Gordana's name you will find fancy language (that I did not really understand) about marketing strategy and organic growth.

Even our AI summary describes it like this: "Gordana explained how she helped grow clients' websites from zero to 100k monthly visitors through SEO and publishing high-quality, keyword-optimized content. Regular publishing establishes authority and signals expertise to search engines."

But in this episode we delve into what this means, and what / how anyone can implement this incredible leverage into their business. Get Google working for you is what it all means. We get techy but not geeky, well a little geeky but in plain language! You guys I connected with her heart, learned so much and finally ditched that "UGH SEO" nonsense that cana ctually serve us so much and it's not that hard! Gordana is lovely as can be, smart as a whip, and a beautiful teacher and marketer who will bring forth new desire in you to do the markety things!!

Conny and I have become fast friends since first meeting via a podcast outreach. And what we both love is serving people in decluttering their MIND, HEART + SPACE.

Conny knew at a young age that she could see the world differently, that she had a knack for rearranging in way that was efficient and pleasing. As she built hr career in Finance (hello, money order! and spaciousness!) she grew to evolve and allow herself to go deeper with those early age intuitions. She obtained a Certificate in Clutter Clearing (um - can we make that mandatory school education by the way!) and has been serving people all over the world, both virtually and in person, with clearing space.

The beautiful connection is in clearing space you clear internal AND external energy. And its working in this combination for each individual that you can bring someone from Chaos to.... Peace (see what I did there!).

Our internal environment is connected to the external environment, so this isn't about being a minimalist or going Marie Kondo on steroids, but allowing for exploration and new experiments to let more peace in. Mmmmm.

Now from what you know of me, and what I shared about Conny, why are you still reading this! HIT PLAY and let's goooo!

PS The podcast is a YEAR OLD NOW!! And I haven't been soliciting for reviews hahaha, so silly. So please, I would so love it if this year we build that part of the show too!! OXOX

Paula has a heart of gold and a healthy gut! Yep that's what I am going with here.

Paula is a product of her own transformation through gut health and is deeply passionate about us finding the EASY way to improve this core functioning part of our body.

Healthy Body = Healthy You = Awesome Life

And healthy means energy, mental clarity, desire and passion! She was finding herself in a "mom-from-the-couch" state of being (which gut punched me pun intended? or not?! when I heard that because it's not how I want to live and am sad to hear that others may be in that position not knowing how to lead themselves out of it.

Like I said, Paula found a way that works for her and is now helping others find their way with the expert knowledge she has invested in.

AND the other beautiful piece is this journey started 20 years ago and is now getting front and centre stage. Her kids are near fledged from the coop and her career and time has opened up. And she is taking full advantage!

Come join us for a gut, I mean GREAT convo and check out her NEW BOOK via Amazon: Becoming a Phenomenal Mom: 5 Steps to a Healthier Life (https://www.amazon.ca/Becoming-Phenomenal-Mom-Steps-Healthier/dp/B0C2RYRXRK)

COURAGE! Do you know the song by P!nk? LISTEN to the lyrics, it will shake you!

Imagine a world without P!nk in it, what if she didn't have the courage to do her thing, let her highest self out, relentlessly pursue her passion and share her gifts with the world?

YOU are that someone for someone else my love. In this episode I enjoy Jessica Love's story of courage, of how she completely changed, disrupted and moved her life, into true alignment. Into higher self, into healing and rest.

Jessica has worked to overcome constraints, careers, financial obstacles and unhealthy relationships in developing her courage to chose herself. She quit a 15+ year career in nursing, sold her home and most of her possessions, bought a travel trailer and moved from the West Coast to Texas with her dog.

It was there in the early days of her new life she was inspired to lead a revolution. A courage revolution. A revolution of people who have the courage to wake up, to question everything, to challenge the status quo, to refuse to be silenced, to have the hard conversations, take their power back, set themselves free and start thriving in their lives.

ENJOY!

Did you know that you have access to a SUPER power in side of you?! Call it Higher Self, call it God, call it Source, it is PART OF YOU. It is the deeper, the deepest and most connected consciousness, it's the SUPER conscious!

Ok my ladies, this one has some heavy content. Less of a listen lightly and more of a lean allll the way in and hold space for you and for Regina as we go on a journey of overcoming trauma, finding out who you really are and showing the EFFFF up for others. Alongside of being in her later years + looking to create a retirement plan with a powerful book, Regina is sharing her story and boldly coming onto the "stage" to create change, support and healing, this is a powherfull conversation indeed.

You know, we can get so caught up in our heads, and then a story like this throws us into a reality check.... Regina is not only showing up to share her story but also to further empower herself and take charge of her life, having healed (which never ends) bringing new life and love to her marriage, to herself and now to the stage of life.

Do reach out to her if you feel the pull, we can help get her message and book to those who need to know her and the story of Shayla.

(There is a slight lag between the 2 of us so just surrender to it, nothing is lost from this tech glitch).

Let me hear you say TRANSFORMATION!!!!! Hey oh, oh yeah, now baby!!!

SING IT!

hahaha. Oh sister, oh girlfriend, oh highest soul spirit self!!!

Get the journal, get comfy or get moving, and tunnnnnne in. Lori and I met in June 2022, when she was at the "convergence" of her rise, into her next next level. Lori is the purest, most real and tangible example of transformation I can refer to at present time.

This woman started to listen to the whispers, and then was whisked full force into the supernatural to fully become the HER before us today. From not being able, not wanting and allowing her thinking to impede her from dancing (on video) in a private FB group (its called LEVITY - get your head straight!), to showing up for a live video on her new coaching program (Soul Ascension) acting as though it were as simple as breathing, this woman is the RESULT of self development.

I love her, and how she has changed her life and the lives of those around her, and of the women she now coaches and collaborates with.

Just start the episode already, I talk enough in there. Get it going!! And go find Lori and follow her and reach out, she is an ANGEL!

Emotional Intelligence

Dealing with "difficult people"

Facing truth bombs you don't want to face....

Carole is a delight, an incredible powherhouse starting a new spin on her skills and wisdom - moving into the deep work of coaching women WHO WANT to expand. An important piece of working from abundance with your actual ideal client versus saying yes to "just get someone".

Carole has a 27 year business to stand on and we spend time talking about the difference in advertising then (PRE INTERNET) to now. And you know what? IT AINT THAT DIFFERENT folks! She also has such a gold nugget perspective on the ebbs and flows of revenue over 3 decades, reminding of the normality and resilience needed to keep going.

It's just too much to summarize so get on with it, come hang with us, bring your journal and share with us, or someone you know, what moved you in this episode!

Do you like to laugh? Like really, love to laugh - to let yourself be overcome with the freedom of joy?

And do you wish you had a better tool to face life with? A way to reduce cortisol, dissipate heavy emotions - without dismissing them, that leaves you feeling GOOD and sunny after?

Rage rooms watch out because we might just LAUGH you out of business haha!

Linda is a doll you guys, she is a master of laughter as MEDICINE. I chose this photo of her though, not one of the many of her in laughter, because this Linda vibe is the one that has me head over heels on her.

Wise, experienced, and evolving.... after a significant accomplished career, founding a school of laughter, raising a family, maintaining a marriage and surviving in Quebec (to us Cdns you will get it!!) she is exploring more of herself still (There is always time my loves! Abundance!!)

Her new business is different from what she has built, and is more personal to her. A new version of what she created, more freedom and self expression, but still LAUGHTER.

And that's how we start and stay through this whole conversation. We come in and out of the lightness, and we talk about the work in creating something.

Disclaimer I start in French but I don't stay in French (I was born in Quebec, I can't help myself!)

Enjoy + LAUGH along with us! xo

In this episode we talk about INTUITION. Your inner voice, your higher self, your own wisdom to listen to yourself and turn off the noise from all around. Which is so spot on as that's how Kris and I found each other. She was magically referred to me via "Media Firestorm" and all I needed was ONE LOOK at her website to know we had a connection.

I felt like she was a future version of me, her message clarity, her heart showing up in different service methods (3 core offers), and her business name (I just turned 41!).

Kris - like many of us - is moving into new space as an entrepreneur and finding all "the same experiences" we come across. But she has confidence, still in her 40's herself, she has harnessed her self awareness, her knowledge and her heart's calling by turning what came naturally to her into a business. AND her own podcast is a brilliant spin + leverage to showcase just what those talents and skills are. She live coaches her guests in one of her 3 areas - being the business coach (the Life Coach + Best Friend Experience are more personal!! Duh!)

We have a loving and intuitive conversation, taking you into some relatable examples of how to work with what + who you are and trust yourself!

ps - yes I guested on her show and she held space for me to take off the smoke + mirrors and coach me, without exposing me! BRAVO! Our episode is also below.

You are going to hear me say this again - once you start something and RELEASE IT into the world, you have birthed a frequency. What it does is now is not up to you, but it is up to you is to CONTINUE TO RESPOND to how it comes back to you.

Are you following me?

Because this is how Katie + I met; someone we both know put us together because Katie posted about wanting to be on a podcast in every state, and because I have a podcast! And our mutual friend / coach knew we would have chemistry. And boy do we! We spent nearly half the (pre) recording time just hanging out. We both released an energy into the world, and sat back in receivership for it to come to fruition.

And then we move into deep convo about intuition, honing, it, seeing, it, appreciating what it is and isn't. As a Mindset Development Expert Katie is walking the walk of her coaching work. Having spent a career in real estate and now running a mortgage team, she knows how to create and receive. So much so that she recently moved her family (1 husband, 2 kids) from Minnesota to Florida, because her intuition was pinging her big time.

Her current (ongoing) offer is called "Just the Tip" - a coaching call to ignite the fire inside of who you really are and stoke it into the next level of yourself! Contact her at any of the platform below to get just the tip! ha!!!

Get the earbuds in & maybe take a journal out and come join us sister!

Veronica was "delivered" to me via Kara (Bubolz) from a previous episode (#29)! Of course there is always pre and sometime post amble so I get a few extra bits than you. Fret not because I am all about the sharing. Hence - VERONICA! So this sweetheart completely trusted in my "cold DM" message to her saying I wanted to chat with her on the show. I said some awkward thing about wanting to share God in business and life and have an episode around Him and our walk with Him (because Kara exuded that peace and harmony that He offers but I didn't "go there" with her). ANYWAY, Veronica is a DOLLLLL. She is killing it with holding space for motherhood, marriage, business AND CHIROPRACTIC SCHOOL! What!!! And all under 30 years of age. BUT the best part is she isn't hustling, burnt out or otherwise overwhelmed and tapped out. She has the balance, the peace and the Lord as her guide & support. Whether or not God is your thing, my special little song at the beginning is worth the listen FOR SURE and so is Veronica's heart. From overdoing, burning out and living the wrong way, she is now in her true path with a career and an online business in serving the mind, body and spirit. Look at this woman - look at her photo, her energy, her vivaciousness! This is what drew me in to her when we first met through a group program in 2021. Kim is at that delicious stage of self where she is saying yes to HER, to her desires, her heart, her passions and her deeper meaningful experience as a spirit on this planet. What am I saying? It's HER time for connectedness and service. That's what we are here to do folks, are you figuring that out yet? Stick with me and my women, you will see, we will pull on your heart and the whispers of your own expansion will be released xoxoShe's quit her job and gone all in on her coaching, we talk about the transition, the life at home, the family impact and the internal "got your own back" energy that you must practice to bring it all together! I think I am going to start recommending a journal when you join me, so... let this be the first and not the last time I do just that! https://www.kimmintenko.ca/https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimgreniermintenkoCurrent Offer: Limitless Leader https://www.kimmintenko.ca/limitless-leader

Allright loves, this episode is all about PEACE + HARMONY. She is raising FOUR kids (age 5 and under!) and has sustainably grown a stable (and increasing) revenue generating business without making it hard. These kinds of stories, what she created in 8 months, are so so important to stay encouraged, to strip back the things we hold on to as excuses and to be the PROOF of what is possible, for ALL of us!!!! She didn't do anything magical, she just stuck to discipline and self certainty, and used a coach!!! So we talk about choosing the right coach and how that coach should serve you, not groom you into something but meet you on a custom 1-1 level to develop who YOU are. Kara was such a delight and I expect (and invited her) to more convos between us. (ps the relationship building from hosting a podcast is gorgeous! and easy!!)

Allie is the cutest you guys!!! It was 6 am for both of us, and we both work and she has 3 boys (teen + twins). So here we are, real, vulnerable and mostly awake?! And she is using her existing skill set to feed her passion, which is .... helping people organize their digital files!!! Another organizer you guys! There was so much I loved about meeting Risa, so much in fact it's led to a continued relationship so watch for us to offer you something on the integration piece of becoming you are / want to be.

Risa was living in South Africa with her husband and two kids when a promotion moved them to the USA. As the kids aged and moved out, they began to establish their life in the US and Risa realized that (aka - got a swift kick in the tush from God . Source / Universe!) that this was a make or break moment to create a retirement in the US rather than back in SA 10,000++ miles away!!!

So what did she do? SHE SAID YES and STARTED FROM WHERE SHE WAS AS WHO SHE WAS!!!!!

This was rewarded with an invitation / encounter with a Life Coach and led to her own certification and a successful contract to serve as just that,

In this episode we talk about "breakthroughs" in a way that is really tangible and practical and not as an overnight sensation, we talk about starting with what you have and building yourself as you go.

Turn it up baby, its time for another powherfull conversation!!!

HELLO JUICY EYE CANDY SHOES THAT ARE ALSO...... .COMFORTABLE??????

Its like Janyelle turned me into a shoe, a premium, Italian leather made, neon coloured gorgeous and highly functional shoe - no, check, that, fashion accessory!!!!! Before you do anything, go see these shoes and pick your pair!!!!

www.jmariepremiumsneakers.com

Now, if that's not an intro to the powerhouse that is Janyelle Milton, I am not sure what would be. She has a humble story, she needed stylish shoes for her job and getting diagnosed with multiple sclerosis she could no longer wear the heels she loved. She would rather "die than be caught in gym shoes" but sometimes the glass slipper is really a neon Italian leather sneaker! Solve a problem for one and you will solve a problem for many. She figured out how to manufacture the shoes with the highest quality and craftsmanship and brokered a contract and is CEO of the best sneakers on the market (yes I am this obsessed with them!).

I love her heart, her humility and her tenacity in going after a dream that would knock a lot of people on their ass. ENJOY!!!!

I mean come on, how could this episode not happen? powerful girl - powherfull inc? The incredible combo / duality of empowering young girls and women through our business visions (heart missions really).

Danielle is fun, fierce and realllllll. Her latest photoshoot has her sitting with a CocaCola and Goldfish crackers!!! (They happened to be on set she told me but it so fits with her messaging). Her vision lies in empowering young girls to adore themselves and take good care of themselves from the get go, so that they don't grow up with "as much" reprogramming to do as our generation (40 ish-es and above). This is legacy building stuff, generational change, and could not be closer to my heart and mission with my own biz (yup we already collaborated on some stuff and more to come!).

Find her on social, you will instantly fall in love with her (or at least be mesmerized by her locks!) and most likely you will feel seen for you who are, as you are and want to help deliver her message to young girls while healing your own young girl self.

Time for a truly powherfull convo my loves. HIT PLAY!

This episode was going to mark the "grand opening" of season two here, but I decided to flip into a numbered order instead of seasons. I felt moved to open S2 with Elona because she is a slightly different "startup"... having built her biz into multi six figures and running what I would call more of an empire, it was fitting to come back with a bang and level us all up in our perspectives and mindsets.

I was feeling intimidated to interview her, but she is such a heart centered, GENUINE, true woman, that instead I was able to overcome my insecurities and not good enough's and have an incredible conversation about being anchored to the BIG VISION of why you are working your ass off to build a business, how to do so without the grind and balancing masculine and feminine energies.Such a huge theme for her and I, being such doers by nature.

It's a beautiful and relatable convo and a reminder that we are all "the same" in our differences, just trying to share our hearts and talents with the world and we can find similarities and support in all. Oneness. xoxo

Love it, enjoy my powherfull friend!

I spend a lot of time mingling with women all over the world but EVERY TIME I MEET A CANADIAN I burst haha!!! And this one, Melodie, is literally under 3 hours away so I now have a new IRL biz bestie to grow with!!! It's the little things my loves.

In this episode, the lovely and bad ass Melodie Dewsbury shares her entrepreneurial journey where she left a teaching career. When I was researching her I found so many adorable "beginnings" internet bits including a cute recipe video and time spent slugging leggings! I love these roots, we are gotta start somewhere and get to know that part of ourselves.

Melodie now runs a confidence coach, content strategist and visibility consulting business. She is humble, kind and passionate about helping us get out of our own way with our messaging so we can get to our magic talents and create change in our clients lives.

Kacy and I wasted no time exposing our hearts to each other. I felt that I was being coached (by Coach Kacy! ha!) as much as I felt I was having such a deep and connecting conversation with an old friend, even though we just met.

Kacy has overcome so many hang ups about herself to become herself (see - there's that tagline again, I swear its natural!!) amd I can practically taste the authenticity on her as we chat.

MY FAVE PART OF THIS CONVO IS TALKING ABOUT MASTERY!!!! Mmmmmmm, remembering that theme lights me up!!!!! Mastery takes time, we cannot rush it, and it is better "done" with love, patience and discipline. A dose of bravery helps too.

Kacy chose to say NO to a medical career (DOCTOR!) to pursue travel and writing! Talk about bravery and claiming certainty before being ready.

I learned about myself in this one, made a new heart felt friend and grew as a person. That's how quick we can make change my loves.

Now its your turn to tune in and explore more of yourself!

BUT above all this, she is a real, relatable and self trusting woman who knows what she came here to do and is committed to being of service and living a life of purpose.

JUST SUCC IT - it's a succulent company!!!! It's a whole other beast when you have physical products to manage, source, ship etc! Especially LIVING products! Which makes this convo different from the others and takes us into other elements of running a startup. Andrea has also had to pivot a few times already in this biz and even with attracting the attention of Nike, a post or reel going viral doesn't mean that all of a sudden the biz becomes a million dollar company. But it can help and you can leverage it!!!!

Andrea is fun, feisty and fierce she gets its doooonnne. She is also humble, adaptable and in flow. I loved our chat and I know you will too!

It's a funny thing to meet someone for the first time online and not have any previous connection or relationship. But then again, ITS TOTALLY NOT. And Kelly and I ... oh baby, there is magic between us. Pretty sure I entered her heart as much as she did mine in this episode and we are now working on a workshop together.

Kelly has that glow about her, welcoming you in, SEEING you in your magic and giving off such comforting waves of energy. And there is no doubt she is GIFTED in her cosmic magic.

In her own words: Kelly works with the client’s higher-self & soul, the Angelic Realm, and other higher Multidimensional Beings to fabricate a safe and loving space where clients take part in their own self-discovery of innate ways of healing." And "I fall in love with my clients because I get the privilege to connect with their true Divine Essence… their soul!"

Shelley left a "glamourous" (in my romanticized view!) career in the Five Star Hospitality Industry and leveraged those badass skills to build a more meaningful AND lifestyle based business. Her corporate job consumed SO MUCH OF HER TIME. And when her father in-law passed, she realized she didn't want to keep going like that. So she didn't, she made the changes, took action and is now living that reality.

What she coaches on what she has gone through. BosWORTH - owning your worth. And she does, when I met with her, she had that confident vibe of "I know who I am and what I am here to do." Our podcast was just one of the many events in her business day / week / month.

AND her and her husband work in tandem on creating their dream life together. And they talk finances - am important element of being an entrepreneur in a family unit!!

In her words to me: "Entrepreneur life is tough, it’s not the Insta highlight reel and I hate when people feel they are not good enough but they’re working hard to get to where they want." She is here to empower you and show you how you can do the same thing she did, in your own way with HELP.

Jill is a wise woman who is in her retirement years, ready to impart her knowledge and wisdom to others, be them young or old or ageless! After a long career in the school system and while raising 4 boys, she made time to serve women (and serve herself) by hosting retreats, where they all could just BE and grow deeper into themselves. These retreats, low key, camping potluck style events now have time and space for Jill to further expand into her Goddess Self. She now runs a podcast, organizes retreats and recruits guest speakers for them and continues to build community while travelling with her husband and enjoying her grandchildren. She has heart, wit and an encouraging nudge towards that voice inside you know is calling! Check her out via her podcast and get nudged!!

This conversation has so much bravery & self love woven in. In her late 30's Jillian surrendered to her innermost truth - she is gay -but that isn't the point - its this "coming of self" that we face in business, and even in life, stripping away to who we really are and what we MUST let out in this lifetime. And how that letting out can completely blow up the life we have been living up to that point.

The parallels to her journey in life to that in business are so tangible and relatable. We hit it off right away and opened with the mic drop quote from Jillian "just because life is good, it doesn't mean it feels good." Tune in and turn on your soul in this episode!

And check out her book - dropping April 25/23! https://queerabby.com/book/

https://queerabby.com/ She is fun, vibrant, vulnerable and driven. Working as a copywriter she is expanding her business into her own work and story to help others feel seen as they surrender to their truest self.

This photo of Leah could not be more on point. She is down to earth, real AF and after a few years of "figuring shit out" is coming to a new level of "performance" in adding some fuel to the fire of her business. ps this photo was taken by her friend in her backyard! Nothing fancy needed - be you and the rest will follow.

In this story, we talk about the logistics of home life, the chaos of having 3 kids (which she homeschools!) and making business as simple as possible for getting a high return on the snippets of time found throughout the day to grow this baby. And finding out who you really are in the process.

Leah also has an embodiment of "it is what it is" and has learned how to surrender while continuing to build her business. She has a great vibe.

Come check out her business at https://www.leahstine.com/ and find her on social at @leahstinewriting and on LI at Leah Stine.

pps she also knows how to leverage the online world as she builds revenue and clientele. Listen for the rolodex hack that we should all get in on!!

Meeting Elle has added a trip to Michigan to my list of places to travel! I instantly hit it off with her and her boho vibe and that smile. What I really enjoyed about her business is that, in her words, she has "niched down on her offer and not her people."

See, the internet is always making suggestions to us right? And the best thing we can do with those suggestions is use the ones that fit for OUR situation and question others on how to make it work for us. Use critical thinking versus the spell of shiny objects and promises (my weakness for sure!).

Elle has tailored her biz to be specific and offer a gateway to more communication, self understanding and decision making. This gives her leverage with who she can work with - clients, coaches, businesses, families and more. And she is super nerdy about it, its absolutely wonderful to listen to her come alive when she talks about interpreting and integrating someone's Clifton Strengths.

Oh and did I mention she bought a gorgeous heritage MANOR and is turning into a co-working space? She is another powherfull solopreneur on a mission to break that word apart. Kelli and I met in a FB group because of something she posted. I can't even recall what it was but we have hit it off like supernovas and have been waiting / rescheduling our convo for ages. Well, it was worth it because this episode is LIT!! We talk energy, kids, self trust, figuring it out along the way and acclimatizing along the way, growing into the skin of success as it comes to you.

What I loved about this convo was that Francesca is so young (27) and is already figuring out the birds eye view of her life. Her misdiagnosis / lengthy journey to answers around disordered eating + PCOS showed her a wake up call on the life she was starting to build.

So she decided to switch things up and is now in school to become a Registered Dietician! She says she doesn't have a business yet, but she does!! She is creating a strategy to have momentum in her biz meet her at the end of school so she can transition right into working.

We talk money, planning ahead, the unknown and of course the passion for the cause. Follow her online on FB, IG & LI

Starting a business and making money don't go hand in hand (SAY WHAT!). Well, it's true and yet here we go, down the rabbit hole because our inner voice, soul, higher self, knows that what we have to share has to come out, or else!

What I love about Nichole is that she does what is needed to move the needle. Which means she doesn't solely rely on business income to bring in money. Besides, you never know what opportunities may come your way when you are out there sharing, working and meeting new people. Let's be real, to get success you have to make it work for where you're at!

Nichole is a freaking bad ass, she does more before breakfast than I do in a week (not to compare....!). I am just in awe of her clarity on what she wants to accomplish and how she puts the pieces together to make it happen.

Her previous 'day job' was as a nonprofit exec in the informal learning/museum space. She is now formalizing her credentials as a trauma-informed coach. These are not the same thing at all! And while raising 3 kids by herself, she is finishing up her MA in i/o psychology with a coaching and consulting concentration!

Get to know this woman, she is honest, sincere and aware of the work she has to do in herself and with the biz to make her vision come true.

Ok Amanda and I are peas in a pod. We are the ones who keep the chaos under control for the wildly creative and possibly ADHD folks out there who just aren't wired this way. So I had a blast chatting with her because we totally get each other and the work we do. And just when I thought I might lose her when I shared that I gave up on my underwear drawer, she sealed the deal with a reveal of her own (near the end!).

Amanda made the transition from employee to entrepreneur very strategically, planning out how and when she would quit months in advance, running budgets and talking to her husband a lot about minimum revenues and impact at home. She also had conversations with her then employer about her plans. I found this so bold and brave, and showed a real commitment to herself and her vision.

And she is killing it, already over $100k a year with a team of organizers, Amanda's business is taking on a life of its own as she looks at speaking opportunities, corporate clients, and getting into the trade show side of things (both attending and hosting).

I am so happy to have made a new friend and found continued inspiration in helping others stay organized in a busy world!

My loves, I can't even on this one. Colleen is a very special person with an incredible amount of inspiration, hope and possibility. And she is freaking KILLING IT at self publishing a book in 6 months, from receiving the download to getting it on Amazon while raising two little kids. I know the money is going to come for her because she is so in alignment with what she is doing. She paid attention to the call and is now swirling to answer and deliver it to the world, even though she hasn't a clue how it's all supposed to work! Haha. How is that for relatable!

Colleen Keefe Faul is the first time, self-published author of God's Precious Gift: A Special Needs Child. At 6 months old, Colleen’s daughter, Grace, was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms and Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Her daughter’s diagnosis pulled Colleen deeper into her faith, where she found consolation in the form of creativity. She was inspired to write a faith-based children's book for the special needs community that was as much for the parents as it was for the children. Her mission is to help members of the special needs community, their loved ones, and their caretakers find peace in God's Will.

Dori and I had such a genuine conversation, and I was sooo thrilled when she shared that after years of listening to what people said she should or should not do, she pushed it all aside and let herself go after what was calling her. This is what the startup journey is all about - letting your magic out. It seemed a natural fit to me for her to end up in kids books, but she says it "just sorta happened." How many of us can relate to that!

Dori Durbin is a Christian wife, mom, author, illustrator and a kids’ book coach who grew up most of her life in a rural town in Michigan. She holds a BA in English, a secondary teaching certification, a Master’s degree in Human Services specializing in Schools and Communities, and creatively educated high and middle school English and Science students for ten years.

After experiencing a life-changing illness, Dori quickly switched gears to follow her dream. She creates kids’ books that provide a fun and safe passageway for kids and parents to dig deeper and better express emotions. She also coaches other authors to create their own kids’ book and share their expertise to help families. Dori has written three children’s books in her Little Cat Feelings Series: "Little Cat Needs Space," "Little Cat Feels Left Out," and "Little Cat & Dog's Birthday Bake: A Recipe in Caring” and will always own a furry horde of cats.
