Prayer is powerful and we see it’s effect in the book of Acts. What are you prayer for?
There are many scriptures that over time have been taken out of context. People try to use verses in well meaning way but unfortunately they tend misquote them. It’s import to not just pick and choose scriptures that fit our context & situation but rather seek to understand the original context of the whole passage.
Freedom in Christ, ever stop to think about what comes with our freedom in Christ and how it differs from worldly views of freedom.
Prayer of Thanksgiving. Reminding us to take time to give thanks for what God has done.
Prayer of intercession. There is power in interceding on behalf of others before the Father.
Prayer of supplication, what exactly is that? Prayer is an important of our walk with Jesus. He took the time to teach His disciples how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13
God has called you to be a part of His kingdom. To show the world who Jesus is and to be a disciple that makes disciples of all. How are you living out that discipleship call? Who are you mentoring? Or maybe you need discipled
Why did Jesus wait so long to reveal Himself to the two on the road to Emmaus? Does your heart burn with passion when you hear God’s word?
Jesus sent the disciples to go and get this colt. He gave them specific instructions about where it would and exactly what to say if a anyone ask. Then he rode it into town and people shouted and acknowledged Him in that moment.
Being made in Christ Jesus is very important to our Christian walk. We are reborn when we accept Jesus as our Lord and saviour!
Knowing who you are as a follower of Jesus is important. Being reminded of who God says we are on a daily basis is a n amazing thing!
A reminder to not forget Jesus’ divinity. Fully man & fully God, that is a major part of our Christian belief and cannot be changed.
The glory of God is shown not for our benefit but so that others would know that God is still God. We sing about His glory and even ask to see it but do we fully know what that means.
1 Samuel 3:3-14; God calls Samuel and reveals His word to him. Do you know Jesus? Do you spend time with God daily?

What does it mean to walk by the Spirit and to use the fruits of the Spirit that we have been given?
God is our shepherd. Psalm 23 “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Jesus is referred to as the good shepherd in the New Testament. Do we understand what that mean?
Peace sometimes seems hard to come by. Life is noisy and finding but the truth is that God’s peace is attainable. Do you need rest? Do you carry burdens that needs lifted?
What do you find yourself in need of healing from? God is a healer and we all carry wounds.
Jesus is God! He is the Son of God and that is biblical truth. Do you believe in the Son?
As we continue through our series and looking at who God is, we look at Him as our protector.
God the Spirit, a part of the trinity. The Spirit has always been there. Genesis 1 tells us that the Spirit hovered over the water.
Do you recognize God as the Father? Father is a reminder to all of us about the good and the bad of what our relationships are like with our earthly father.
What aspect of God drew you to him? Who is he to you and why? Genesis 1 shows us that God created everything, including mankind. He gave us life and made us in His image.
We all make decisions every day that affects what we do but the ultimate decision we have to make is whether or not we will wholeheartedly follow Jesus?
Do you desire to draw near to God? Do you take the time examine your relationship with the God?
Faith without works, what does it look like? Is it important to our Christian walk with Jesus?
Continuing to look at Romans 12:2, what about us as Christian should make us stand out in the world?

Romans 12:1-2 reminds us how we are live. Come and listen to how we can continue to be more like Jesus when we follow His patterns.
Joshua 1:6 “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”
The desire to be more like Jesus should drive us to want to show others what He has done for us. Paul tells us in Ephesians that it is by grace we have been saved, through. We did not earned it.
We kicked off a brand new series about pursuing God’s heart. We focus on worship and how we can connect with God through that!
Hebrew 11:1 tells us what faith is and as we read the word we learn how it affects or should affects our lives including our giving?
Hebrew 11:1 “Now Faith is the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see.”
Grief is something that we all experience in this life! It’s hard to see it as a gift! This message reminds us that it’s okay to express our losses!
Ethnic gap - there is a difference between race and ethnicity. Galatians 3:23-26NLT “for you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all have been United with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or gentile, slave or free, male or female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.”
Economic gap - does our social status matter when it comes to how God sees us? Having more or less does not determine whether or not we deserve God’s love?
Generational gaps - do we allow our personal preferences outside of what God desires for His church to dictate how the church should be?
Cultural gaps, how do we bridge the gaps in order to reach different cultures for the gospel?
Exploring the vision and mission that God has called us to. What does it mean or look like to bridge the gaps missing in the church? What do we as a church need to know?
Unity among believers is not about the desires of the flesh but rather unity in Spirit! Pursuing the things of God not men! What does unity mean to you?
Love God and Love others seems simple but it requires us to put others need before our own at time! We are all called to serve in some capacity. The question remains will you be obedient?
Acts 2, the people of God devoted themselves to many things and one of those things is God’s word through the teachings of the apostle. Do you place enough value on the word of God?
We look at how important prayer is to the Church. After the disciples became filled with Spirit and preached a message about repentance!
