To create authentic and powerful characters, we must understand the depth of human behavior. Great writers aren't afraid of the shadows or the light, and are curious enough to go on an adventure into human consciousness. In this series, I will show you how to write unforgettable characters, and break them down by types. Not only will you elevate the characters you write, but equally understand yourself better as well as those around you. Sub-categories include using Spirit Animals, trees and all of Nature, to gain deeper insights into ourselves and others, flaws and all. Human behavior is intricate and complex. In this world, the worlds of Buddhism and Psychopathy converged. I am here to reveal these lines, and what makes many of us cross them."To succeed in this life, you need a funny bone, a backbone, and a dancing bone." ~ J.S. Wolfe @WolfeSound

If love is authentic power, then powerlessness is the most dangerous attribute.
Every crime, abusive behavior, and desperate actions are done on the hands of a powerless person.
To elaborate on feminine and masculine energies, we need to, first, address powerlessness, and how much damage it causes the individuals and those around them.

Authentic power is not about status, money or prestige, but about inner stability and integrity.
It requires courage to look into our own powerlessness and observe how we express it, while also steering clear of the most dangerous archetype, that is, the mindlessly powerless person, who will do anything to gain power and control... and I mean, anything!

Sacred feminine and divine masculine have been under energetic assault for centuries. It is now escalating as we have been collectively wiping who are by continuing to eat and spew poison, while entertaining a scarcity mentality and buying into fears. Envy, competition and survival mode are now the norm, which in turn means we cannot create, grow, produce, or love.

Tune in to this intro where I share several of the core reasons for our collective disharmony and how to heal it by understanding it with clarity and without bias.

This is a prelude to more episodes discerning toxic vs healthy femininity and masculinity along with variations of partnerships, as well as sub-categories of different types of people, and how to generate a sense of safety in your life to achieve highest balance possible, with time, and patience.

Many of us are emotional third-degree burn victims. Breathe gently in the opposite direction.

Hello and welcome

In the last episode we talked about the symptoms, impact and manifestation of complex trauma and how it’s different from ptsd. Now we will dive a little deeper into the definitions of some obscure impacts and clarify trauma bonding that keeps many stuck in abusive environments.

Impact of Trauma

The impact of trauma can take a life of its own. We are fortunate to have many incredible tools for healing. Being mindful of who we surround ourselves with during our recovery makes a world of difference. We are all traumatized in one way or another, which should be reason enough to make us understand and empathize with each other. Understanding is not even a pre-requisite to kindness. We don’t have to wait for someone to die to love them properly. Everything becomes clear in hindsight. Anyone can tell you what you should have done instead. Therefore, 20/20 advise is not of much use.

“We are here to help each other remember, and then let go.”~Inspired by LOST

1. Dissociation

When you are in the middle of a traumatic event with no help in sight, you dissociate. Your mind will leave to a safer space. You split. It is the only option to survive. Dissociation can be temporary during a traumatic event, or becomes an involuntary habit. It gets easily triggered. When there is any resemblance, no matter how faint, to a past trauma, dissociation goes into effect. Some people may take a couple of weeks before they realize they’ve been insulted, and decide to react long after the incident. Sometimes, it gets triggered by a pleasant situation in the presence of an abuser. If the abuser is in a good mood, they can still trigger anxiety in the victim, as they never know what the next moment can bring. So, they may miss out on moments. Moreover, preoccupation with trauma can lead to dissociation in casual situations. The normalcy of the people around may act as a reminder of how flawed the person is, and how they are unable to feel they belong.

2. Derealization

I wish I could realize I am here, but I’m not sure I am.

It’s a kind of a funny feeling to be in a moment without being in it. People appear like cartoon characters. Nothing seems to be real. I suppose it’s a state that many have to smoke something to understand it. Trauma creates all kinds of mental highs and low, and this one can be, both, fun and painful. Anticipating a desired moment, only to miss out on it when it arrives can be heartbreaking when it’s gone. You realize later that you didn’t get to enjoy it, because your mind was anxious and preoccupied with the inevitable pain that will come when it’s over. You get consumed by your fears, and life flows in and out with you unaware. There is an invisible bubble around you and everyone else seems just out of your reach.

3. Quasi Accidents

Being accident prone is a way of self-harm without being held accountable for anything except clumsiness.

Traumas caused by prolonged or ongoing emotional abuse gets us out of alignment, and not much care is given to our safety. When we feel perpetually unsafe, our minds become unfocused, disorganized

The disease of our time is cognitive dissonance.

Critical Thinking is a a habit of intelligent and powerful minds.

Types of Trauma

These are the two types of traumas:

  1. Post-traumatic stress disorder

  2. Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (referred to as C-PTSD)

We will focus on the complex kind due to its emotional roots and prolonged nature of its impact. It is not necessarily the trauma itself that causes long-term problems, but the impact of how the person or others around them re-traumatize them long after which keeps them stuck. We can move on from an event. But when societal conditioning keeps you entrapped in its memory, your struggle is that much tougher.

Before we get into it, here is the difference between

PTSD & C-PTSD

PTSD is a manifestation of one traumatic event, as is the case for war veterans, one time rape victims, loss of a loved one, being diagnosed with a serious illness, witnessing or being involved in an accident. C-PTSD is a result of ongoing, compounded trauma, that has an emotional foundation to it, and mostly rooted in emotional abuse caused by "trusted" caretakers and loved ones.

When anxiety is a constant state, our bodies slowly give out. Code red is an expected norm. This is why when we rage, we refer to it as seeing red. C-PTSD brings everything dangerous from the past right into the present moment. We create mental scenarios of impending doom, so we can be on high alert, should we need to protect ourselves and act fast enough to find safety.

The absence of immediate danger only intensifies the anticipation. It is equivalent to the anxiety you feel between the time someone points a gun at you, and pulling the trigger.

Sufferers of C-PTSD are in a constant state of survival mode. Their trauma is timeless, and their mind can’t organise their memories in a chronological order. Everything is happening inside at the same time.

Being in the now is the ultimate state that spiritual guides talk about, but what if the moment is unpleasant? This is when mentally escaping the moment comes to save us, and we replace it with another. This is when people either meditate or dissociate. Trauma weakens the mind, and meditation fortifies it. Mind over matter is not always a capacity that the sufferer has. Instead, they dissociate, because it does not require effort. It is not intentional. There is a fine line between the height of pain and a complete liberation from it.

Adrenalin kicks in, prompting us into fight, flight, freeze or fawn mode. Being high on adrenalin consistently is physically exhausting to say the least. Since our emotional memory gets stored in our bodies, we become heavy. The reason we tend to suppress our traumatic memories is to avoid being driven into a nervous breakdown, or sometimes, suicide. I do believe; however, in taking small steps to release little by little, with a hiatus in between for processing. Every person is different, so you will have to decide on the best course of action for you with the help of a trusted professional. If you choose to keep your emotions bottled up, sooner or later they will express themselves through unexpected ways, at unexpected times, without your consent. It can often awaken fatal diseases, just to get your attention.

Symptoms of C-PTSD

•Derealisation

•Dissociation

Intention Setting

An intention is the decision to energetically align with the desired result. The accuracy of your alignment, determines the quality of our results.

When a person does anything, they always have a purpose for doing that thing.

There is something they want to achieve and there is a reason why they want to achieve it.

Objective and Intent.

We can therefore say that a person has an intention for doing anything that they do. That intention can be operating conscious or subconscious, or both. A person can also have multiple intentions as well as mixed or opposing intentions.

Intention is the fuel that puts things in motion toward a certain destination or end result. It’s what propels the trajectory of the direction.

This first push is an announcement to the universe that creates a focal point on a target, with focused energy into a specific direction.

The objective never determines the end result. Only an intention can do that. This is why sometimes you reach an objective and another time you don’t, even if it is the same one. Two people can share the same objective, but if their intentions are different, the results will also be different.

Apply this to any relationship, personal or professional and you will easily see how critical intentions are to the end result and also determines the route you will take towards that goal. Some take a direct route; others beat around the bush. Some are clear and aligned; others are manipulative and misaligned.

Note, I did not say good or bad intentions, because it isn’t about good or bad. It is only about alignment to the goal, be it kind or malicious.

There are no good and bad intentions.

It is the level of internal agreement we can reach that makes it so. It is either aligned or misaligned. Intention is different from an objective. Whereas an objective is about what we want, our intention may or may not be aligned with what we want. The world of intention goes beyond the notion of right or wrong, good or bad. We are in a state of intention setting at all times; however, we are not always conscious of it, and this is the tricky part.

Aligned Intention

An aligned intention means your mind, body, and soul are in complete agreement on a certain action or goal. You have full presence and focus. A serial killer, who sets out to find his next victim, is fully aligned. He enters a house, commits his crime, and leaves. Mission accomplished. What he did was bad for others, but the result was in positive alignment with his intention.

Misaligned Intention

A misaligned intention is when you are divided and fragmented. Your mind, body and soul, are at odds with each other, creating cognitive dissonance. You may want one thing, but believe in its opposite. You can truly want to do something good for someone, let’s say, you offer to clean their house. But because you are misaligned, possibly your mind was elsewhere, you set the house on fire. What you set out to do was good; the end result is bad; your intention was out of alignment.

Every intention sets things in motion in a specific direction.

If two people have two opposing intentions, even though their goal is the sam

Episode Highlights:

When people feel better, they do better.
To be wealthy, you need to set joy as your home emotion.
Abundance cannot coexist with the unhappy, the ungrateful, the pessimistic or resentful, envious heart.
You cannot attract good things unless you connect with joy.

Someone who uses negative pressure and abuse on someone to force them to do better never works.

If anything, they are contributing to poor actions that lead to poor results.

Wealth isn’t just money. It is a state of mind and being. It is your environment and your perceptions.

Here is a blueprint to begin leaning into joy and attract abundance by shedding everything that has been blocking it.

First, correcting the main false beliefs associated with wealth, money and abundance.
1. “Money is the root of all evil. It is not the root of all evil. Greed is. 2. “Money can’t buy you happiness” yes it can. 3. “You have to work hard to have money” No. It is working smart 4. “Rich people are evil” How would that work? There are evil people among the rich and the poor. This is just a statement that comes out of resentment and envy. You can’t get rich ever if you have envy win your heart cos nothing will ever be enough and you will never feel grateful for what you have, leaving you with a scarcity mentality.

So, how do we set ourselves up for abundance and wealth?

Wealth is not just about money. It is a feeling of gratitude, inner peace and joy.

If there is no love in your work, abundance can’t follow.

If you are unhappy, the results will be poor.

If you express hatred for money instead of loving and respecting it, you will lose it even if you do get it.

What is Money:

Money is a tool that facilitates fulfilling your urgent, basic needs and your wants.

When you feel secure, you have more energy to fulfil your true calling instead of living in fear and survival mode/

How do you feel about it? Money loves the joyful.
This is why it is so important to clean your environment of negative thoughts that bring on negative emotions, and to surround yourself with a healthy support system, genuine friends, healthy work environments and genuinely caring family.

Here are 7 things that impact emotions, and your quality of life:
1. Your thoughts 2. The environment 3. The people in your life 4. What you consume (food, entertainment, gossip) 5. Telling everyone your plans and dreams 6. Choosing the wrong partner 7. Your daily habits

Your relationship with money:
Those who respect money, money respects them.

Be a safe person for money and it will come to you.

Crazy things people say and do to pay you less:
You have other clients

You’re too expensive

You’re already rich, you don’t need the money

Calculating how much you make by counting your clients

Do not hire them, do not partner with them, and do not take them on as clients.
In the next episode, I will dive deeper into Narcissistic clients to help you navigate the process with them, in case you can't walk just yet.

Invest in the right caliber, but also, the right character.
If you invest 20k in an employee, who bring you 100k+ revenue, that is a better investment than paying someone 10K, who will make you lose business until you go under.

A high paying client, who is a narcissist, a coward or flaky, and refuses to give you credit, will also cost you a lot more by not paying in the end, nor put your name on the work for others to see.

A narcissistic business partner will, not only destroy the business, lie, cheat and steal, but will also slander you to anyone who will listen.

Invest in the right people. This is not an area to get stingy. In fact, you will win, generate high revenue and build something worthy just by having the right ones in your corner and by weeding out these malicious personalities.
Do not let psychopaths sink your business to the ground. Examples provided.

Wish you all great success and mindfulness.

Disclaimer: Nothing on this planet justifies murder.
This episode addresses the behaviors of both, Chris's and Shannan's, within the marriage that spelled disaster, in hopes for us to learn and remember the dangers of the excessive need for attention, social media, lack of privacy, as well as marrying a coward, who is codependent, non-confrontational, and lacking a sense of self-worth or responsibility.

We need to exercise some critical thinking, and not allow the heinous crime of that coward of a husband blind us from toxic behaviors of his victim and mother of his beautiful children. Shannan's insatiable need for attention and control does not justify murder. That does not mean it isn't a conversation worth having.

I barely comment on the amazing girls, Bella and Cece, because I am just speechless about this. What a heartbreaking case!

I hope you receive the intent of this episode well. After all, we are here to have hard conversations, in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones from such evil acts.

May they all rest in peace, and may this devastating case never repeat itself through other families.

A general intro with specific examples:

Covering the main types of Narcissists and why they seem to be everywhere.
In a day and age where narcissistic traits are embraced, celebrated and enabled, they are emboldened more than ever.

The cowardice at the heart of these personalities may have muted many of them in the past, until they found an overall toxic environment to thrive in. A world, where being callous, indifferent, charming and cut-throat make you successful, narcissists found themselves, while empathetic and kind people feel lost more than ever.

It is simultaneously the age of celebrating self-love that many narcissists hijacked by calling selfishness mere self-love and self-preservation.

Episode Highlights:
Separating the disorder from its non-diagnostic narcissistic personality type, and offering examples for each.

Here are the main types and their general way of expression based on their respective types.

  • Malignant (most malicious and closest to psychopaths and the dark triad)
  • Grandiose (also known as an overt narcissist)
  • Vulnerable (also known as a covert narcissist)
  • Communal (known for virtue signaling)

This episode is a prelude to more personalized ones that address a variety of situations in detail, bearing in mind the complexity of these relationships that make it so challenging to leave sometimes.

Let's change the way we talk about experiencing narcissistic abuse and the disempowering terminology that is attached to it.

In the wake of it, there is so much potential to be achieved, empowering self-talk and description of these experiences. It can build character, as it is a great opportunity to rediscover who we are and what we stand for.

With a shift in perception, humor and sharing with others, people can truly thrive out of the victim state they never asked for in the first place.

Receptive Mode

We only receive what we think we are worthy of receiving.

We are always in receptive mode, but not always aware of what we are open to receive. When we are receptive to something, we may not be receptive to another.

To have and to keep what we are praying for, we must be able to receive it. If we lose our sense of self-worth, we create blockages. If our beliefs about ourselves are in sharp contrast to what we ask for, we create resistance. Sometimes false beliefs are passed down over generations,  yet no matter how much we disagree with them, we often internalized them still. Here are two common examples:

  1. On Money and Wealth

  2. On Love

Replacing Resistance for Receptivity

  1. Question your beliefs, and pin point the ones that are neither true, nor helping you.

  2. Replace false, and disempowering beliefs with empowering ones.

  3. Instill your new beliefs through daily mantras until you change your subconscious tape.

  4. Set clear intentions and be as specific as possible.

  5. Do not share your visions with anyone. Many people may intentionally or unintentionally project their limitations on you. Protect your dreams at all cost.

Run, but quietly!
Here is a list of tips on how to get out of a psychopathic marriage with the least amount of damage, especially if you have small children.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact law enforcement, or reach out to one person you deeply trust and are confident they can handle this.

This is for educational/entertainment purposes only and it is not to replace professional therapy! Please, do what is right and connect with a mental health professional, if needed. I recommend MedCircle, where they have several competent therapists, who are specialised in personality disorders and victims of psychopathic partners, domestic violence and family dynamics.

Differences between psychopathy and sociopathy, exposing myths, and offering tactical empathy for these predators in the name of self-protection.

You will find a list of people, who would most benefit from empathizing with psychopaths, in order to keep society safe from them.
The list includes:
Detectives, therapists, human resources, and of course, romantic partners, who are at the risk of sharing children with a psychopath.

In the next episode, I share tips on how to escape a psychopath during a divorce safely, especially if you share children.

Stay safe, while having fun. And remember, you deserve better.

This is an intro to psychopathy and my personal account with a criminal psychopath and how I dealt with him. This episode is a prelude to an in-depth analysis and sharing on these dangerous personalities among us.
My hope is for you to learn how to turn cautionary tales into lighthouses that illuminate this world. Psychopaths live in the gutter and cannot survive in your light.
Shine, shine, and transcend them, while helping others remain safe, especially young and naive loved ones.

I promise episodes will keep coming until you are fully equipped to handle the darkest personalities in your life and get them out safely and permanently.

EMOTIONAL ABUSE

Dismissing demeaning words such as “devaluation,” “hoovering,” and “discarding” is a good start to respect ourselves.

You are not an object to be evaluated, a doormat to be hoovered, or trash to be discarded.

Who said those, who do you harm, or think you harm, sleep well at night? Darling, they don't sleep. They pass out.

And in their comatose state, they build homes for cancers waiting to confront them at an optimum time for redemption.

Just be sure never to harbor neither joy nor pity. They, of all people, deserve your forgiveness, but not your attention.

No one enjoys being abused. There is what is familiar and what is unfamiliar, and the distance to healing can be filled with traps, detours, and learning curves. You can help them cover half this distance by refraining from making it tougher on them to come forward.

Highlights:

The Abuse Ruse

Psychopathic, narcissistic, and sociopathic abuse:

•Charm: turns to intimidation

•Interest: turns into manipulation

•Love Bombing: turns into isolation

•Protectiveness: turns into control

•Compliments: turns into verbal abuse

•Passion: turns into rage

•Vulnerability: turns into neglect

•Idealization: turns into devaluation/defamation

•Friends: turn into Flying Monkeys

Modus Operandi of a Love Fraud:

• Manufactured Intensity

• Love Bombing

• Gaslighting

• Isolation and Exclusion

• Reactive Abuse: Dog Whistling

• Triangulation

• Stonewalling and Silent Treatments

• Passive-aggression

• Devaluation

• Intermittent Reinforcement: benching

• Discarding

• Withholding Affection

• Hoovering

• Spiritual/Psychic Attacks

“A child that is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth” ~African Proverb

We have been witnessing a staggering rise in emotional abuse, and there is a reason for that. We no longer live in an actual jungle, yet we never stepped out of survival mode. Mentally, we are still there. There is no outlet for the intense adrenalin rushes, fears, and frustrations. Physically attacking each other comes at a high price. This is especially true in big cities, places of work, and schools. It is now regarded as unacceptable behavior that is punishable by law and by society alike. With no outlet for our frustrations, people resort to emotional abuse. Many are suppressed to such a degree that they, either, implode or explode. When they finally do, it is gruesome.

Emotional abuse turns many, otherwise regular people, into murderers. Whether it’s a bullied student, who snapped, and sets out to kill his entire class, or a regular husband, who wakes up one day to kill his wife and children, we need to stop and reconsider the way we pressure each other out of our wits.

The lack of empathy in criminals is often met with an equal lack of empathy by the average person. Social media has revealed to all of us the kind of darkness humans are capable of. If emotional abuse continues to be ignored, crime will become the norm. We are already half way there. We need to take cases like these as a solemn warning to where we are headed at this time.

It is worth noting that emotional abuse does not have to turn physical for it to be considered serious. It causes fatal illnesses, destruction to personal lives, and pushes many to suicide.

CRIMES OF APATHY

*If I were to pray for protection from evil, it would be that of humankind. Should humans be kind, all else will be bearable.

In this episode, you will find the first 5 types of modern-day dehumanization.
Part II will soon follow. Stay tuned.

Thank you for being here. Stay safe.
Much love, peace, health, and open paths ahead.*
