In this episode, I discuss the far reaching fear of rejection. From dating, to job interviews, or asking for what you want, I emphasize how everyone experiences fear of rejection at points in life. I outline the origins and why fear of rejection is ingrained in our brains due to our evolutionary need to belong to a group for survival. However, in today's times, fear of rejection is largely misplaced and holds us back. Drawing on a couple of personal stories and referencing exposure therapy designed to overcome fear of rejection, I encourage listeners to embrace their individuality, be courageous, and normalize the inevitable experience of rejection. In this episode, I discuss the significance of setting boundaries in order to pursue purposeful growth and help manifest your potential. Fundamentally, I encourage you to know the "yes" that is behind every "no" so you can move your life ahead in an intentional direction that's important to you. I delineate the importance of saying 'no' as a necessary step towards self-care, and distinguish that from selfishness. I then break down two essential phases of setting boundaries. The first phase involves saying 'no' to others, focusing on keeping the unnecessary clutter out, and the second phase pertains to setting boundaries with oneself in order to pave the way for personal expansion and purposeful living . I also highlight the relationship between one's perception of self-worth and the inclination and comfort of setting boundaries, urging listeners to adopt intentionality when setting boundaries and recognizing their inherent value.

In this episode, I tackle the topic of failure and mistakes, discussing what happens in our brain when we make mistakes and how we can train ourselves to deal with failure more effectively. I emphasize the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, preparing for failure, and analyzing mistakes only to the extent of understanding why things went wrong and what we can do differently during the next encounter. The brain's reaction to success and failure is outlined and why it can respond either productively or avoidantly when we fall short. I conclude with suggestions to help our brains manage failure better. I highlight the invitation to embrace our failures and mistakes because they will most surely lead to personal growth, a fuller manifestation of potential and more success in areas that matter most.
