Hello, and welcome to my show. Here, I plan on discussing the latest MLB and NFL news specifically New York Mets and New York Giants football News. As a die hard Mets and Giants football fan, I will be focussing on Mets baseball and Giants football news and roster moves. All this and more can be found here!
Should we be concerned with the Mets cold start to the season? Carrasco continues to struggle, Escobar looks lost at the plate and Narvaez is out 8 to 9 weeks. Although things look bad, the Mets will be fine and I’ll tell you why. There are still plenty of bright spots on this team, like Senga! All this and more!
Mets continue to get hit with injuries, as Verlander was placed on the IL with a low grade muscle strain. The Mets have a great manager in Buck Showalter and a good lineup, but Scherzer and Verlander mean most to this teams possible success. Defense has looked great, but offense has been hot and cold as the Mets start the season 1-1. Also, Darren Ruff has FINALLY been cut, but Brett Baty has shockingly been sent down to triple A. When should we expect to see Baty back up in the big leagues? All this and more, tune in!
Giants still need a true number one wide receiver, can Hopkins be that guy for them? I’ll tell you why if the asking price is low he may be worth the trade. Giants continue to stay busy, signing Amani Oruwariye. Another good signing, but Giants are still thin at cornerback. Lastly, will Rodgers really be a Jet? All this and more!
Ruff and Pham have struggled with the Mets thus far, and I’m here to tell you which Mets players should make the opening day roster over them. Megill struggled in his most recent spring training start, there is no other way to say it. I’ll tell you why I’m not reading too much into it, and you shouldn’t either. Finally some WBC talk, disappointing loss for USA. All this and more!
American has many problems, but one stands out to me more than the rest. I’ll tell you which one that is, and why it frustrates me so much. Also, why are white people so obsessed with golf all of a sudden. I tried golf, and I don’t get the hype. I’ll tell you some of my biggest problems with golf, and what activity I find superior to golf. Lastly, but certainly not least, Happy Birthday Mom! Lots of love, many it be a good one! Jets are a piece away from a Super Bowl, and I believe that piece is Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers will cost a pretty penny, but if it gets the Jets a Super Bowl it is worth it. I’ll discuss why I believe Carr was a better fit for the Jets, and why the Jets actually may have more leverage than the Packers in trade negotiations. Giants continue to stay active, signing two more offensive weapons. All this and more!
The problem isn’t the World Baseball Classic, it’s the timing of it. MLB must move the WBC, and I’ll tell you what month it should be moved too. Edwin Diaz injury is a shame, but the Mets can still win it all without him. I’ll tell you why the Mets bullpen is still a good bullpen without Diaz. All this and more!
Giants continue to stay busy and make moves early this offseason. Giants bring in a star at linebacker and a familiar face back at wide receiver. Giants also address their defensive line and lastly, but certainly not least, get Jones a star weapon at tight end. Giants still have holes they need to address, but great start to the offseason. Verlander looked good for the Mets, settled down after a rocky first. With Mets committed to Ruff, is there room on this bench for Baty or Vientos come opening day. Also, what MLB can change about the pitch clock yo get more people on board. All this and more!
Will the Giants retain both Jones and Barkley? I believe they will, but it will not be cheap. Also, I don’t believe the Giants should trade for Hopkins. They should plan to build through the draft. Lastly, who should start for the Jets at QB next season. All this and more!
Mauricio is the future for the Mets at 3B, not Baty or Vientos. I like both Baty and Vientos but I think they can be pieces to a big trade for the Mets. Also now that we are seeing the the new MLB rules in action, I have a new perspective towards some of them. All this and more!
I recently took a trip to Cooperstown, and it was remarkable. I loved every bit of it and recommend going if you haven’t. There is one thing missing in Cooperstown, and his name is Keith Hernandez. I’ll tell you why he belongs in Cooperstown. Also it’s relieving not having to deal with DeGrom injuries anymore but lets not celebrate him being hurt.
