In the best interests of the child, parents must continue to parent together even though they choose no longer to live together. The relationship between the two parents must become realigned into a different structure. With a new alignment between the parents, a new term for parents after divorce is also needed. We use the term "co-parents" to designate parents following a divorce. When there is emotional turmoil between co-parents the concept of forgiveness can be very disturbing when someone has been seriously hurt. Yet the ability to forgive can help you let go of the pain. What do you have to lose? Pain?

We all create narratives about ourselves, and these narratives define us. To know someone well is to know her history—the trials and turning points that have shaped her, the experiences that have impacted her. When we want someone to understand us, we reminisce about our childhoods, our families, our school years, our first loves, our political development, and other events. But what if for a moment you reflect and ask yourself, "What is the purpose to my existence?' Is there more to life than to this?

Why do we bait people who belittle us? Every time someone says something hurtful to you, you have the choice to either let that comment affect you or ignore it and move on with your day. But if you let it get to you, the person who taunted you wins by getting a reaction out of you. And if you keep letting people win by getting a reaction out of you, they’ll keep doing it. The more you care, the more they will continue to bait you. It’s as simple as that. When someone pokes at your insecurities, they’re not just trying to get a reaction out of you; they’re also trying to reaffirm their own self-worth. Let's find out more..

The idea of coincidence is something that has fascinated people for centuries. Are random events more than mere chance? Or is there some kind of explanation that we just don’t understand yet? If you Google the words “coincidence” and “meaningful,” one of the top suggestions you’ll see is that there is no such thing as a meaningful coincidence. This isn’t actually true; coincidences can be (and often are) meaningful. The confusion probably comes from the fact that many people use the word coincidence to mean something else entirely—often as a synonym for serendipity or chance occurrence. But these concepts have little in common with our everyday understanding of coincidence. So, to answer this question, let’s dive into what it means to believe in coincidences and how they can be meaningful.his episode is also available as a blog post: https://nancyduartelifecoach.blog.

No one gets into a relationship to break up or get a divorce. We all really believe it is "until death do us part." If you are honest by this time and you are in the process of a break up or divorce, you were both already living in separate worlds. The scary part of breaking up is that it is hard to do. Mostly because you already categorize yourself as a failure. It will shake every bone in your body. It is very important for you to come to terms with the pain of the break up. It is important to ask yourself continuous questions. Rather than blame your ex-spouse. Questions like, "What has kept me from seeing the signs?" How could I not see it coming? It's important to reflect and take time to explore your mind and heart.

“If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you’ll find an excuse.” Anonymous
There are infinite reasons why we make excuses not to do what’s important to us, and the more important something is to us, the more likely we’ll resist it.
How to break the cycle? By looking resistance square in the face and taking responsibility for finding a way instead of finding another excuse. By acknowledging what is really important, and committing to making it a priority.
I share this insight in the hopes that it encourages you not to feel intimidated to do what you really want to do and love. Dare to follow your own path and find your way.

Emotional pain can be a powerful indicator that we are not living in accordance with our own ethical standards. When we feel pain, it is often because we have violated our own values in some way. The pain serves as a reminder that we need to make a change in our lives. If we ignore the pain, we may continue down a path that is harmful to ourselves and others. However, if we listen to the pain and use it as a guide, we can find our way back to a more meaningful and ethical life. By paying attention to our emotions, we can learn to navigate the challenges of life with integrity and compassion.

We all need to ask ourselves, "What kind of fuel are we using?" This is a question that many people find asking themselves a lot lately. Am I motivated by love or by fear? And unfortunately, you may often find that it is fear that motivates you. Fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, fear of not measuring up. I have learned that this is not the kind of fuel that I want to use to power my life. Fear may give me a temporary boost, but it quickly runs out and leaves me feeling depleted. Love, on the other hand, is a renewable resource. It is always there for me, ready to give me the energy . Love will serve you and Fear stops you dead on track. Love is the catalyst that propels us forward. It's important to keep going. What are you fueling in your heart? Is Love or Fear.
