To be better and do better because we know better.Our name comes from the perspective that salt changes the taste of whatever it touches. Therefore, we strive to be like salt. Changing everything around us (including ourselves) for the better - one thing at a time. And, truth be told, sometimes, we're just salty. Lol! We acknowledge that we are in this world but not of this world. We are perfectly imperfect people on a journey to have God at the center of our lives. We strive to better ourselves and the world as we seek knowledge, understanding, hope and joy. We do not pretend to be perfect. We are learning. We are trying to grow. We are working on our walk with God.

It's the year to let go and let God! Face it, you can make all the plans you want, but no matter what...it'll only be what God wants it to be. So let go of your burdens. Let God handle it. He will do so much better with our lives if we would just stop interfering with His plans!

Have you ever prayed for something and God was silent? I have and it's one of the reasons I became salty as all get out. Looking back, I think His silence may have been His answer. I just didn’t know it. I took His silence as Him just not caring. In reality, He had something better in store for me that I couldn’t see. Sometimes, we need that "no!"
Have you ever asked God to give you a sign for something you've been praying about? Did He give it to you and then you asked for another sign to be sure and then maybe another? Well, let me tell you! I have and I should have believed God the first time! The devil took my doubt as an opportunity to shut me back down. Now I know for sure: When God Gives You a Sign, Believe It the First Time: The Devil Does Not Come to Play!
