The Shield APR Podcast is a weekly show hosted by automotive enthusiasts and professional Concours detailer Amos Mendez, in conversation with a stellar cast of car loving guests. An often passionate, full of insightful stories, yet funny discussions about all things automotive.
Tim Hines is a US Navy veteran and former Aviation Rescue Swimmer. After spending five years as a helicopter crewman on SH-60B helicopters he needed something to fill the void and get that regular dose of adrenaline. Motorcycles fit the bill perfectly and soon it became an obsession. Like many other motorcycle junkies out there he started thinking about the idea of building a van to more easily enjoy his passions and be as mobile as possible. In late 2016 Tim sold his house in Washington and moved to Colorado. He filled a storage unit with his bikes and gear and flew to Wisconsin where he purchased his first Sprinter. During the 12-hour drive back to Colorado his mind was filled with thoughts of the travel and the adventure that was sure to come. His vision was a van that would offer comfort for long trips and could be easily reconfigured for multiple machines and gear. After spending a significant amount of time researching the current outfitting options available, he found himself frustrated by the limited internal storage space of many of the builds on the market. This motivated him to create his own build, exactly how he wanted it. Three years and nearly 200,000 miles later he decided to launch Adrenaline Vans LLC and share his passion for travel, adventure and motorsports with others.

lewis and Chris are too brothers that tell their amazing journey of their life. From humble beginning in life too opening a Mexican restaurant of there own and trying to stay alive though Covid-19 look down. Lewis and Chris never gave up on their journey to achieving there goals. One of them was buying a Honda, but not just any old Honda. They got the limited addition "Type-R" and the ultimate "LE" 1 of 600 in the USA.
