But what if the most profound transformation we could undergo is not about doing more but less? The concept of achieving more by doing less is counterintuitive in a society that often equates busyness with productivity. Nevertheless, reducing distractions and embracing quieter, more meditative practices can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our needs. This can result in more thoughtful actions and a more intentional way of living where fulfillment comes not from the quantity of our actions but from their quality and alignment with our inner truths.

What if the key to overcoming anxiety isn't just in your head but in your body? Prepare to explore the profound connection between your bodily sensations and anxiety-triggering thoughts. Today, I share an experience when I witnessed a young boy being told that his mother had passed. A scene like this is part of the job in a hospital. That does not make it easier, and the people caring for the patient were the most affected. Being an empath, I felt their pain, too. I share how I deal with the pain, process it, and move on.

We all have ways of managing our pain and people who can help us through it. Sitting in the pain for a moment and acknowledging it is one of the things I talk about in handling heavy emotions. I hope the examples I shared can help you process emotionally taxing situations and help you get to the other side.

In today’s episode, I talk about setting boundaries, knowing when enough is enough, and not letting others take advantage of us any longer. It's time to start setting limits and raising red flags! We all know it's hard to do, but it is essential for our well-being. We can no longer be people pleasers. It's okay to tell someone off if they are crossing the line. It's okay to say "No" when you don't feel comfortable or don't want to do something. Expressing your true feelings and opinions is okay, even if they don't align with the views of others. The bottom line is that we all need to learn to tolerate less bullshit and stop trying so hard to please everyone around us.

In this episode, I share my feelings of guilt and shame. I wasn’t aware of these feelings until that one day; they just came to me. Perhaps subconsciously, I had these feelings tucked away. I prayed to God for a sign, and he answered the next day through a friend. I came to a realization that letting guilt stay is useless. It takes away more than it gives. I share these with you so you can also tune in to your feelings, see if guilt is there, and see what you want to do about it.

I learned that it is important to be feeling in alignment before having conversations, especially if they have the potential to be heated or challenging. I was reminded of this when I asked God for a sign and ended up breaking my ankle, which gave me time to get into alignment before having the conversation. I learned that centering yourself and showing up as your best self can create somatic memories that will stay with you forever.

Do you find yourself overwhelmed and don't know where to start, tired of trying to make a change but keep falling back into the same patterns, and not being honest with yourself about what's really holding you back? Then this episode is for you!

I've been thinking a lot lately about radical honesty - both in terms of sharing with others and being honest with myself. It's so easy to avoid our feelings, but I think it's important to face them head-on. This week, I challenge you to be radically honest with yourself and see what happens. You might be surprised by what you learn about yourself.

If you want to achieve your goals in life, learn how to meditate and surround yourself with like-minded people. I started my journey to "Tune In" when I began practicing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness many years ago. These practices helped me become more aware of my thoughts, behaviors, and patterns and to accept myself where I am. But I realized that it is not enough to be aware; one also needs to take action. This show is for anyone who knows in their soul that there is more to life but doesn't know how to access it.

For some of us, we let fear take control of our lives, stopping us from taking part in the things that will bring us happiness because we are too scared of the “what-if.” Let me challenge you again to go do the things that scare you, that make you uncomfortable or even just the things you don’t usually do. Get out of your routine and do something new. If you want to be happier, it’s time you take back control and start doing the things that scare you. Everything that makes you nervous sits outside your comfort zone. The smaller your comfort zone, the more likely you are to feel unfulfilled and the more mental limitations you put on your life.

For the longest time (and honestly, even until now), the term “self-love” has been associated with putting up “perfect” pictures or images on social media. It is associated with physical looks, any luxury or expensive things one can post, and so on. In this episode, I wanted to dive deeper into the real meaning of self-love. The truth about self-love and why it’s important to start practicing this in your life. Self-love can come in so many different forms: saying no to something that’s not aligned with your values, putting yourself first, setting and sticking to your boundaries, giving yourself grace, taking care of your body, and so much more. I hope you find the inspiration and courage to start practicing self-love without any fear, doubt, and shame.

What do you tend to do when things don’t go your way, resulting in negative emotions? Do you run for cover and avoid negativity by looking for distractions? You are not alone. This week, I challenge you to sit with the emotions and face them instead of running from them and creating more negative emotions in your wake – all of which you’ll inevitably face. Embracing the moment when you feel these emotions and doing something to relieve yourself of them instead of avoiding them allows us to move through them and cultivate deeper relationships and more authentic life.

Most of our limiting beliefs come from our childhood experiences & seemingly innocent things our parents, teachers, or coaches told us. But these simple statements did more harm than good to our self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem. This week, allow me to tell you how you can turn those disempowering beliefs into empowering ones so you can break free from what’s holding you back and be one step nearer to your goals. By ridding yourself of those unhelpful limiting beliefs and shifting your mindset, you can gain the self-awareness and self-confidence you need to create empowering beliefs and stimulate positive, purposeful action.

What is your relationship with your internal guidance system? Are you making choices based on other people’s approval? It’s about time you start to make decisions because it feels right for you. People aren’t going to approve of it, more often than not, but this is your time to do things for yourself and not for others. This week, I want you to be in touch with your internal guidance—meditation is a great way to do it, but feel free to do other things that feel right for you.

Human as we are, despite all the work that we do, we still get irritated and irked. It’s normal not to agree with our conversations with others. It’s normal for us to vent it out and share our feelings with our trusted circle. However, while all these are normal, I want you to be mindful of the version of the story that you tell others. Maybe you’ll find out that it’s not something positive, and you might want to start working on it.

One of the many reasons why people stop joining group exercise classes is because they shell up and feel inferior around their “experienced” classmates. Recently I joined a Yoga Sculpt class, and almost everyone in the class could’ve been my own kids. They were young, nimble, and in fantastic shape. If this had happened to the old Nicole, I would probably have run away as soon as possible. But the new me was different because I was tuned in to my body, what it needs, what it doesn’t need, and my values regarding exercise. So before canceling your next yoga or meditation class, take some time to remember what you’re there for.

When you’ve been doing the work long enough, you’d be surprised at how strong your mind may have become. In this episode, I share some news that I initially thought was devastating. So when you are faced with a stressful situation, try to take a step back and see if your thoughts align with your feelings. If not, try to change the latter.

What is your level of tolerance for vulnerability? Are you open to sharing your joy, pain, and obstacles? In today’s episode, I share the importance of learning to balance what, when, and who to share vulnerability with. It’s great to put some experiences out there to allow others to share their truth with you and make deeper connections. In the coming episodes, I am throwing it out there that I will be sharing the vulnerable side of me and I am hoping that my realness will help, inspire, and motivate others to do the same and be healed in the process.

I am worthy. I am enough.

Self-love is the highest form of respect and appreciation that you can give to yourself. Unfortunately, this concept is not practiced proactively because somehow it was associated with selfishness. Today, I am going to take you through a self-love meditation. A practice that doesn’t involve anything more than just taking your time to be with yourself, listen to your breath, and be aware of your body. Nothing lavish, but a powerful practice nonetheless.

I wanted to say thank you to Samantha Feller who is a content marketing specialist at Yoga International. This is her meditation practice, which I love so much, hence I am sharing it with everyone who listens to this episode.
