This whole episode was about learning to play and playing Cherry Picked Game's Conspire. We had a 6 player game that told the story of the Disco Cabal trying to keep disco alive.
Donna Prior, founder of Orcacon joined us once again. We talked about #NachosBeerCon, smashing the patriarch, and beer.
Stephen Mackey, comedian and host of the politics and economics podcast "That's All I Have to Say About That" joined us. We got a little political in this one on one interview between Stephen and Daryl. At one point, the tables were turned and Stephen got Daryl to talk about this podcast.
Mike Schubert, host of the Potterless podcast, discussed reading Harry Potter as an adult with no nostalgic baggage.
Voted #3 for Best Local Podcast in Seattle A-List's recent survey, brother and sister Marc & Julie came to talk about their show called The Station Wagon. Sibling rivalry was ever present, from the match game through to the very end. When you listen, you'll wish you had a sibling like that.
Find out what a group of wrestlers on a podcast are called when we play match game and a fun conversation with 3 independent wrestlers who'll be part of the Project 42 show at El Corazon on December 3rd. Also, this was our first ever episode with one panelist joining us via skype.
Daryl has 2 podcasts and this was the crossover episode between the After Party and his brand new podcast, The Spoilers: Wayne & Daryl. Of course, we played match game; but we also talked movies. Lots of movies were mentioned. However, it wasn't just Wayne and Daryl. This podcast got crashed by Glenn of the Film Wonk podcast. Is this the beginnings of a rivalry between 2 movie review podcasts or are they just frenemies? You'll have to list to find out.

Julia Y, the art lead on Astronaut:The Best came to talk to us about the game you can contribute to on Kickstarter until October 21st.
Our 70th episode featured author Janine A. Southard. She talked about a new anthology she's got coming out October 1st. We had a ton of fun during match game and even found out a nifty story about research in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle
The creator of Klask, Mikkel Bertelsen, and the 2nd ranked player in the world, Kevin Reder, joined us during PAX weekend to talk about the new Danish pub game Klask. It's a fast paced, magnetic game. A sort of air hockey on steroids.
Author and game designer, Jonathan Tweet, came back on the podcast. We talked about the global release of Grandmother Fish. Also, there's a game about to be kickstarted called Clades.
Before a recent performance of the Ballard Boyz Variety Hour, Daryl talked with the boyz and two of their guests, Jeremy Eli and Neeraj Srinivasan.
Anglicon is a local British Media convention. If it's British, they cover it. We talked to 2 staff members of Anglicon, Keith and Dan to see what's happening at this years con.

Comedian, emcee, and master of the universe Brooklyn Dicent joined us. We talked about being a professional not-panicker. Also joining our panel was Doug Willot from Jet City Improv.
Our match game contestants had some epic beards for the evening. Our guest was voice over artist, actress and podcaster Kris Keppeler. Our points were scored by halves this week, but the best beard won.
Kris talked with us after the match game about the new horror film that she was in, a sci-fi audio drama she's working on and how many hours it takes to narrate a whole book.
We took the party out of the theater as we did our first ever house party episode. We talked to some loyal fanz. We recorded Daryl driving home and yammering on about the podcast. Daryl tried his best to explain the new show Full Disclosure. We also discussed a memory of a CSz Seattle family member who is no longer with us.

After the Cast of One Show, the night's performer, Kristina Corbitt and the show's producer, Kesan Holt joined us to talk about the show. We rounded out the panel with people who had or will be the performer for Cast of One. We tried to stay on topic but had too much fun traveling down the paths we did.
It's SET's 5th anniversary so Jeannine and Samantha joined us again. We got some new insight into all their shows. We also got an exclusive secret told on our show about their show "The Journal" that they are bringing back for 2016.
A little while back, voice over artist Jacob Burgess let us in on his personal vocal warm-up before every recording session.
Kinzie Shaw and Natasha Ransom of the improv duo FEELINGS were our featured guests of the night. We had a belated birthday, including cake, for Kinzie who had recently celebrated another revolution around the sun. Also joining the panel was After Party alumni, Dave Clapper. We discussed food, feelings and feminism along with a few other 'f' words.

This episode we thought we'd only have 2 members of the sketch group Tweed Racket, Elena Martinez and Christan Leonard. By the time we started the discussion part of the podcast we had 4 members. During the discussion we were joined by Henry Russel Stoddard and Rachel Walls.
Before the discussion though, we had one of the most lively and high scoring CSz Seattle Match Games to date. From the very first round, both players Crystal and Graham had points on the board. This match game went long because it felt like we had something to say about everyone's answers.

We got classy with our guest, City Arts correspondent Travis Vogt. We started the discussion talking about opera. It was almost the classiest the podcast has ever been. But first, we played Seattle match game with our contestants Jen and Brandon.
The rules of match game aren't always clear and Jen had some difficulties at first. That didn't stop her from being competitive and pulling out a victory. Brandon was in the lead most of the game though as he understood the use of blanks right away.
During the discussion we almost got classy but there was some cursing. Because this is supposed to be a PG-13 podcast there is at least one moment of awkward editing. We didn't cleanse them all, just attempted at the more intense ones.

Dancer, Choreographer, Actress and Model Erin Nichole Boyt joined us for this episode of the CSz Seattle After Party.
We started the show off with the lowest possible scoring match game that can still have a winner. Whenever a pattern emerged, that pattern would break. In the end, the contestants were a married couple so they both won.
What inspires a dancer? What makes you move? How can you be a dancer when you are inspired by something that is different than everyone else? These questions and getting Erin to dance her dance she calls "The Penguin" all happened on this episode. Enjoy.

Our first guest ever, all the way from episode #5, Chris Allen joined us once again for some dry humor. We also played some match game with Jessica and Matt. Match game came down to figuring out that Daryl is a big Doctor Who fan and using that information to earn just enough points for the win.

For our 29th episode of the podcast we were joined by the horror improv troupe Blood Squad. We were also joined during match game by contestants visiting from Colorado.
Our contestants started off with 2 matches on the very first match sentence. Even with those early matches from contestants, there were a lot of matches from the panel. One where everyone on the panel matched but the contestants had different thoughts.

The first ever After Party remote show, with Coach Scott and #80 McKenzie Tolliver joining us again from episode 22. We were also joined by #4, Melissa Castor.
This podcast was after a 54-0 win over the Everett Reign and they were having a hard time being humble. So we went in a different direction and found out who the team Gandalf is (grey and white), who the team Samwise Gamgee is and who is the team Severus Snape. At some point we always find a way to nerd out a little on the CSz Seattle After Party.

Despite being an episode after the CSz Seattle Blue Show we tried to keep it PG-13. Someone got a little too excited about her Avengers references in the match game though.
Speaking of the Seattle Match Game, we were joined by our contestants Caroline and Brandon. They were so polite and for a while they shared a pen. They may have been polite, but the audience was rowdy. They enjoyed many of the answers, or at least they screamed 'Woooooooooh' to them.
For the discussion section we were asked many questions from our audience. We talked warm ups. We talked favorite games. Along the way we had many jokes and bits. There might have been a few curse words dropped throughout the show but we leave finding those as an exercise for the listener.

Our 26th episode of the After Party featured 3 players from the Rat City Rollergirls. Kendra Hurts of the Derby Liberation Front, Betsy Nails of Grave Danger, and Hurl Jam of The Sockit Wenches were joined by our very own Graham Tordoff on the panel.
We started off with the CSz Seattle Match Game with our contestants Jake and Emanuel. After the normal round it looked like Jake had it in the bag. However, we once again proved the fact that during the lightning round anything can happen. It came down to the last round of the lightning round before we knew who our winner was.
During our conversation we found out about the colorful language that inhabits the world of Roller Derby. From weaponizing your torso to being thrown by someone's cha a better picture of derby was formed. A perfect balance of fun and information was had during this episode of the CSz Seattle After Party. Whether you've never heard of Roller Derby or are a die hard fan, you'll get a kick out listening.

The last stop on the CSz Left Coast Tour was in Seattle. So we had improvisers from San Jose, San Antonio, Quad Cities and (technically) Milwaukee on the panel. Hear the bits come out as we welcome Lex Simpson, Jeff De Leon, and Courtney Pong to the After Party.
We had a 3 contestant match game between Les, Elliott and Chelsea. Try as we might, Les scored less than the others but like all contestants he still won a prize.
The discussion portion of the podcast discussed CSz (ComedySportz) and improv. Long hours in the car as they drove up the coast provided some good bits for the stage. One they shared with us was one they like to call Fort Bragg.

Author, Raven Oak joined us on the 23rd episode of the CSz Seattle After Party. We talked Comic Con, books, writing and had some choice words for (CSz) New York.
This edition of the CSz Seattle Match Game started off with an immediate match by contestant Chloe. Contestant Daniel found his way in the lightning round (where anything can happen). In the end it was a close match, separated by one point, that came down to the last challenge.
We then started our discussion with Raven Oak. Graham decided to bring us down immediately by talking about Terry Pratchett. Things quickly picked up though as we discussed inspiration, made Asa get us more drinks, and answered questions from the audience.

For our 22nd episode of the after party we were joined on the panel and in the audience by the Seattle Majestics women's tackle football team. One of them even had their birthday on the episode with us!
First we started with the Seattle Match Game. Coach Scott kept calling Alex by the name of Gene and it took a few rounds for Alex to catch on. Our contestants didn't always have football on the mind for many of their matches. Alcohol may have been responsible.
During our discussion we cleared up the fact that the Seattle Majestics are NOT a lingerie football league but are an NCAA rules based football league with women players. Tough women players. Some of the toughest in the league. We finished our discussion with the joys and pains of football, some of which go together.

So many special guests helped us with our 21st After Party. Our special guest was Ian Scuelke, comedian and host of his own variety show. Joe Vella was guest host for the first time. Speaking of first times, Zak Nelson joined us for the first time on the panel.
We started off with another close Seattle Match Game competition. We learned a lot about our guests from their answers to some very Seattle questions. Our contestants were Jessica and Mihai (Romanian for Michael). Once again the competition came down to one point. As usual though, everyone was a winner.
In our discussion section we started off by learning about Ian's variety act "Ian Schuelke Wants A TV Show." A variety show needs lots of talent so we dug into that. We complained about stories getting rebooted then shared what we would reboot.

For our 20th episode of the After Party we were joined by 4 members of the improv group, Interrobang. Our contestants for the match game were Eric and Jeremiah.
Though the match game started slow, we proved that anything (points wise) can happen during the lightning round. In the end we went into overtime to get a winner by one point.
After the match game we geeked out about improv with Interrobang. At first we seemed to be advertising other improvisers from Seattle. We did discuss the interrobang punctuation mark. Finally, we ended on a few misattributed quotes.

Game Designers Samantha Kalman & Jonathan Tweet joined us for an evening of nerding out over video games and the process of creating them.
During the Seattle Match Game our contestants Lara and Gina gave us one of the earliest scoring rounds. They also found out about Jonathan's one track mind. One of them even used it to her advantage for the win.
During the discussion section we did discuss video games and quite a bit. We also discussed tabletop and RPG games along with other creative outlets. There was some game nerding out but there was also talk for people new to games.

This episode of the After Party happened Valentine's night. The local comedy duo, The Ballard Boyz, were our guests to get us through the holiday.
We started off with Seattle Match Game and our contestants Brad and Matt. As usual, things really picked up at the lightning round because anything can happen.
Our discussion with The Ballard Boyz mostly seemed to center around Tim's dad and how Yolanda seems to like burritos. With all the bits going around we're not sure what is true and what is not. However, there is at least one metaphorical dead horse in this episode that we kept going back to.

For the CSz Seattle Match Game we were joined by Autumn and Elliott. We had a lot of fun with them during the normal round but things really picked up during the lightning round. In the end the winner was ahead by just one point.
Our discussion with Mandy covered many things because she does many thing, but she really doesn't. So we talked improv crushes, leading with your tongue and attributed quotes to the wrong people.

For our sweet 16th episode we were joined by comedian Derek Sheen. He had us laughing from the Seattle Match Game to the conclusion of the podcast.
For the Seattle Match Game our contestants were Bo and Robert. The were the epitome of the fact that creativity does not equal points in the match game. We did have a winner in the end.
During the conversation section of the podcast we gave Derek space and he ran. His comedy style came out during the podcast. He had something to say about everything. Being the night before the Super Bowl, we talked 12th man and sports in general.

This week's guest was Lauren Bond. She is an improviser, cosplayer and founder of Seattle Coscon.
This week's Seattle Match Game was special. This week's competition featured teams (both with Dans) named Big Diva and Lil Diva. Half points were awarded again and this time they made all the difference.
Our Discussion with Lauren Bond started with the word portmanteau being used, because cosplay is a portmanteau of the words costume and play. We quickly gave her a soap box to talk from. We discussed how even jocks are nerds of their own kind. In the end we all got just a little bit excited about the simple message she had, "If you want to make a costume...do it!"

Clayton Weller of The Pocket Theater joined us for an evening of fun and theater talk. I think we surprised him with the Seattle Match Game to start it off. He was so excited to be here.
Our contestants for match game were Josh & Jason. The first half points ever were awarded this game. Even with those half points we still had one of our lowest scoring games yet. In the end it was a 2 half point difference that decided who won. Also, Clayton brought gifts for our contestants.
During the discussion (that started around the 32-33 minute mark) we talked about The Pocket Theater and Clayton's sketch group, Ubiquitous They. We also got into some theater business and theater discussions. What's it like to be the new theater in Seattle? How running a theater has not gotten in the way of Clayton's writing. Also, who do they know personally who inspires them?

We first started off with Seattle Match Game with our contestants Jazz and Yoli. During the lightning round we proved that yes, in fact, anything can happen. In the end the game was one by a margin of just a single point.
After the match game we had a bunch of fun and laughs talking about the Hug Life Podcast, relationships between panelists, Alaska dive bars and much more. There was so much laughing the microphones couldn't always handle it but we soldiered on.

We started the After Party with the highest scoring Match Game ever. Both Ariel and Nathan scored a lot of points but in the end we had to call it because of the mercy rule.
After the match game we went into a great discussion with Jeannine Clarke & Samantha Hecker of Seattle Experimental Theater (SET). We geeked out over Star Trek and Nicholas Sparks, along with a few geeky forays into other areas. We also found out which ways our match game contestants are geeks.
In the end we discussed what New Year's Resolution each panelist would not have for next year.

With special guest, Dart London, we had a show that set new standards for how a guest should handle themselves on the show and new records for how long the show went.
We started with Seattle Match Game between the couple of Nicholas and Niko. It was a very close game that stayed tied for several rounds. In the end we had a one point victory.
During the discussion with Dartanion we started with a discussion about Marty Mcfly and realized that Mo has never seen Back To The Future. Eventually, Dartanion started to tell us a lot of his varying ideas on comedy, artistic endeavors and how much joy he brings to what he does.

Our Thanksgiving podcast only 2 days late had special guests from CSz DC, Amanda Wolf and her husband Ryan Miller.
We started off with match game between a currently dating couple of Ieva and Randy. Ieva is from Latvia and competed despite English being her second language. The concept of paternity pants, for when you are making a food baby, came up and was discussed throughout the podcast.
For the discussion section we got some interesting Thanksgiving and Black Friday related stories. We got a little sidetracked with some very Seattle discussions on racism that went to there inevitable comedic conclusions.

This week we had a guest from CSz Detroit. Our contestants for Seattle Match Game were Christine and Lineesa. Christine was actually involved in the wine challenge from After Party #2.
After the match game we tried to discuss many topics. Eventually we told the one word at a time story of how GI Joe™ learned how to cry. It may have involved onions.
In the shout outs and Q&A section Daryl learned how little hugs mean in Detroit so he learned how to cry as well.

Our former 3 time Seattle Match game champion joined us to try and regain his title. He competed against Brian and Julie. It was a tight match that came down to the last line in the lightning round. As per the bylaws of the podcast, anything can happen in the lightning round. We discussed Jose Canseco's finger. We even did a little 'scene in the dark' of what happened when it fell off at a poker game.
