Did you know that there is "Power in Giving Thanks?" Meet Jesus in the Gospel of Mark when everything else swirls out of your control. When you're weak with stress and driving yourself insane trying to solve everything. When last have you or I practiced "Thanksgiving?" Well, God has a part in fact His teaching us from the start, that He created the universe, the heavens and the earth but we have gotten so greedy that we want to change even the creation of things. Be grateful in all of your circumstances and thank God, read the word, speak more to God for at the right time the opportune time, He will give you a word, that will calm you, bring you peace so you can delight in him and thank him for seeing to your piercing and pressing need. God designed Mother's different each one with a unique task, assignment and free will. A Godly mother is hardworking. She diligently sees to the needs and wares of her home. We are in need of Women who own up to their mistakes, who accepts and extends grace. As mothers and as single parents I think God doesn't judge us by results but by the integrity and purity of hearts and efforts. We are not called to be perfect wives and mothers but contrite in heart and as we humble ourselves and tasks before God, that He will bless the works of our hands. Through the gift of that 'Special woman, God blesses husbands. Expect Me O Woman is a Soulful insighful monologue from the utterance of God. Mother's day originated with a Christian named Ann Jarvis, in Grafton, West Virginia. She believed that a day ought to be set aside for moms who are still suffering 43 years after America's losses during the Civil War. In 1908, she persuaded her minister to arrange a Special service at St. Andrews Methodist Church, just for bereaved moms. Later Congress and Woodrow Wilson passed it and as a result of this wonderful kind act, Christians have influence on public holidays. Like Ann Jarvis, God showed up, she followed her heart and even though she later protested because it became and to this day commercialized, we honour our Mother's. Expect Me O Woman comes from God. Saying hold on, be strong. 'Expect' is a huge word, connating expectation and hope. Today as we reflect on Mother's, think of the one's who raised you, never bore you, nurtured you, helped you, taught you, cared for you, prayed for you and shared the gospel with you. Think of them who cover you and love you. Think of that beautiful Special Woman today. That Proverbs 31 leading lady in whom God delights in. So to all Mother's and nurturers Happy Mother's Day to you. Know that Jesus loves you and Into The Garden too. You could be facing a season of setbacks or cutbacks but whatever your season is, its a pruning season where God is challenging you, stripping you, speaking to you, setting aside whats for you. Though uncomfortable at times and painful, He is making sure that in there is acceptance for you, room at the table for you, working on your character and even if it feels prickly and sore, its springing forth a fruit which is commendable to the fruits of the Spirit, which needs to be reprogrammed, retweeted, reshaped, recultivated to stimulate new growth new birth new dawn from you. So get ready to produce what will amaze others with your fresh fruit. So let us take a step back and reassess where God is pruning you. It may hurt, it may cut like a knife but it will produce something that can be a step up or a stepping stone for something greater which I or you could not foresee. God has not forgotten thee. For all we know failure may even be the catalyst to push yourself beyond your comfort zone to try new approaches when to you it felt there was none. Ever felt like all of hope is lost. Time's running out, you clinging, holding on still believing and yet you only human, so a thought projects 'What now?' We've all been there but today Elder Angela shares what this song by Hillsong means to her. 'With All I Am.' It is a reminder of how deep the Father's love is. It's a reminder that no matter how deep we fall or fail, His all knowing, all seeing, all feeling and above 'All things, so stand firm, stand tall.' Some days its easier other days its hard and in those moments, it can feel like there's nothing we can do to help solve all the issues, but to wait and rely on God. There's one thing though that does make a difference and thats prayer. Prayer and speaking to my trusted friend is the conduit that eases my heart relieves the pain lifts my spirits to know that nothing we do is in vain. So, do Miracles happen? Yes they do! They come in packages unbeknownst to you. God is putting things in motion for you. His putting things in perspective for you. 'He says keep your eyes on me.' God will not fail you, won't desert neither disappoint you. His here for you. God is the fourth person in the fire, in the situation with you. Believe, don't grow weak, don't grow weary, don't grow cold, seek his face, speak and affirm 'His going to do it for me.' 'His going to do it for you. Believe that there is 'No Other Name but the Great I Am.' Be Blessed by todays inspiration. The question is 'What goodness are you thankful for? For surely the Lord has been good to thee. From today be open to God's goodness to flood thee, running after thee and overtaking thee. Don't dwell on your situation but praise and thank Him for the outcome. If fear is forgetting, the antidote is remembering. Remembering how He saved you, paid your bills, made a way when it felt like no light at the end of the tunnel, the goodness, the graciousness, the character and the promises of God made a way. So, lean not on your own understanding but lean on him, rest in him and let God do His thing. Grow in God. Become in God. Exalt in God and give Praise to God and let's become Greater in God. Nothing broken. Nothing lacking. Nothing missing. Be open to this word by Elder Angela Morris as the Goodness of God flows to you. So pass this on to everyone in need of this word. Don't allow the difficulties of life to knock you down permanently. As you tune into this episode be reminded that God can and will help you turn your life around. At the end of World War 2, Winston Churchill attended a dinner and one man stood up saying 'At the Battle of the Bulge', the British soldiers were braver than the Nazi's. He replied the 'Nazi's were just as brave as the British- but the British were brave for 5 minutes.' So don't give up remain steadfast and push through. Stick it out for another 5 or so minutes and watch God do. The message today is simple with Doreen sharing her testimony. So gather round for she is on cue. We out to proclaim the mighty works of Jesus's power. Many a times our focus gets redirected to Easter eggs and treats thus losing out on the real true meaning. Up up from the grave He arose, like a Mighty triumphant o're his foes. He arose a Victor from the dark domain. And He lives forever with His Saints to reign. Many a times we accept old behaviors as normal thus continuing the same old routine but Jesus resurrected, so you can be resurrected from old belief systems too. God loves marriage and unites us together but what happens when there is no longer an ever after? Questions surface what should have been, what could have been and what hasn't been and where does this leave you and me? When being filled with peace now leaves you juggling with feelings and emotions and seeking an avenue to release. Separation and divorce are not realities we think of when standing at the altar but its a reality that most certainly hits hard. So what comes after divorce, Girl you get up and live. Not always easy but with time you heal, you might struggle to recover but though broken and to you beyond repair but I have news for you...'It might be the end of your marriage but not the end of you.' You are beautiful. You are chosen. You are full of promise. You are set apart. You are one of a kind and God knows and loves you, so take that to heart. God wants to meet us in a place of loneliness just like He met Hagar. In that place of 'The God Who Sees.' Loneliness is real likewise social isolation. Though loneliness varies from person to person, it can be felt in marriages too. Sometimes when we crippled with fear, disillusionment and anxiety, do we see Jesus working? At most we put our focus and feed that negative energy with more and more fear giving it a hold over me or you. Crowds have a way of intensifying a battle a debate and in this case who should die or be set free. The majority in fact were 'Believers', who chose to execute Jesus and set Barabbas free. Thing is you and I can become so easily misguided and or persuaded by pressure that deafens your defenses. So midst all the mayhem and hysteria surrounding the cruxifiction, it was ultimately the Will of the Father so scriptures could be fulfilled. So which gate should you or I enter? For it says 'Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many who enter through it. For small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.' Matthew 7:13-14 (NIV). So no matter the meddling of the crowds, madness does not win, false claims don't win, choosing evil over good don't win. Lets not give into things that keep us away from Him, away from peace and away from things that look good but ultimately destroys which to you in the heat of the moment the deafening impact the herdlike chitter chatter, seems good. This question was posed in Church 'What Is Your Need?' I went home pondered, and pondered some more little knowing what to expect and like you, trusting and laying my petitions before the Lord. It does us good to ask God as it increases our awareness and dependency on Him. God already knows beforehand what you need. Its during those crucial times that He watches, take note and sees whether we over exaggerate or know the difference between a 'want or a need.' Want is a desire, something wished for. Need is a requirement something essential however you or I can overdo it by using God as our spiritual ATM, overlooking the condition of ones heart. So does God answer, does God supply? Yes, but the enemy can withhold the Blessing be it a Want or a Need. What Do You Need? Be sincere in your requests and most of All, Thank Him. James 4:3 says it all. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. Have you ever thought or noticed that even today, men go to the mountains to commune with God? Yet in the scriptures hardly the Women went up. Why? Well, women were busy keeping life together, keeping their house in order. They couldn't abandon their children, their household, their responsibilities and besides in all her doing, she had no time to climb the mountain. Look at our lives today busy busy. But the beauty in this synergy is this, that God comes to us, the Women. Men climb mountains to meet God but God comes to Women where ever we are. Don't be downtrodden or think that you miss out, No! God is with you doing ordinary everyday work. God has a soft heart when it comes to you and me. A heart of compassion of empathy a heart full of joy when we seek him. I encourage you today, to run to the God on the mountains so we as Women can all celebrate. Well that was then and this is now, where social media has impacted our lives, changed us technology that has affected us from being socially conscious to social media conscious. Before social media came along people wrote genuine letters to loved ones, now by the click of a button and asking AI, we have everything thought out for you and me. In this episode Elder Audrey addresses how 5 brave women stood up for what they believed and made their plea to Moses. It's during these turbulent times we consult God as to how to approach situations. Difficult situations seek God. Yes, there are times we draw out the victim card to get what we think we want and not what God wants. Its so easy to throw tantrums but when we seek God's wisdom, he'll reveal what to do, where to go and how to go about and before your very eyes, you see how difficult situations unfold. So have faith that no matter the circumstances God will provide. Let's not run from things that are hard, knowing what you doing is right and fair, but face them in prayer. Jesus said 'Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.' As the 5 daughters had faith so with the same faith we release that nothing will be withheld from you and with your faith you together with God will bring about Change. Embrace and receive this word as we step into Courage for what is to come. In His love and grace. You know God knows we will experience and encounter hard times, stressful times and though difficult His word reminds us that in Him, his our strongest and safest shelter. So do you have a choice? Of course you do. To either get lost and drenched in the crumbling thoughts of your mind. You see those storms help us to run to God, or in most cases turn our backs on Him. With all of the storms causing havoc in your life, you can cause it to affect you with bitterness, confusion, helplessness and or hopelessness. So when you feeling this way know that His waiting to cover you with His divine umbrella, his divine shelter, his divine sustenance and divine intervention, be it in season or out of a horrible season. Acknowledge and tell God you having a hard time, and need help trusting him in your circumstance. God Said It! Is that spoken word poem with a deep sense and inner knowing that His your strong tower, your refuge, your peace, your comforter in the midst of your storm. So turn to Him, seek Him while He can still be found in the midst of the storm and heed the voice of the Lord. When was the last time you felt like a nobody? If and when you do, remind yourself that I am a 'Somebody'. To many around you, you walk the path of being Invisible but to God you are walking on the silent path of Visible. Your dark past with mistakes are wiped clean so you are made a 'New'. Cherish and don't look back, let God handle your setbacks. I've heard people say even Christians they are a Nobody, gosh even I but little knowing, I was devaluing the Value God had placed in me. God created me to 'Become, but all I did and sometimes do is hide behind the mask of a 'Nobody' mind you. So no matter your or my job description, title or not, there are seasons in our lives we do feel like 'Nobody' but are reminded of those in the bible who did as unto the Lord and who received their reward. You met them, you know them. You try to avoid them because they can suck the joy out of your life and drain you dry. These bunch are called 'Life-Drainers.' Then there's some you simply just love to be around with. You and I know them too. You simply love being in their presence, like a magnet pulling you. They are 'Life-Givers.'...Now the million dollar question...Which One Are You? Which One am I? Now not so fast because I suck at it sometimes. I wish I could say I'm a Life Giver all the time but alas a big fat No. I break I win I lose I snap who doesn't but I thank God for His rules. I'm sure we all would like to say I'm a Life Giver but hey not all the time and there are the teeniest of moments I'm a Life Drainer. There's things you do or say that rub people up the wrong way. Something unthinkable unquestionable unintentional that robs someone close to you of their joy, their peace, their confidence. Let's ask ourselves another question, how do people walk away from me? Do they walk away feeling loved, welcome,noticed, seen or known? Do they feel challenged, inspired or encouraged or do they squirm? You might think you have it all together out there, but in here, you suppress those feelings of low self esteem, selfishness, jealousy and greed. So lets admit and own our life-stucking ways and ask God forgiveness as we work on changing our life-draining habits. So chin up, it happens to the best of us but are we truly willing to change rather than being adamant so God gets the attention and the praise. May God's abundant Blessings be with you. If you or I want to grow, then saying 'No' is a lesson well learned. Amongst us are givers or takers, builders or destroyers, life givers or life drainers. We all carry weight in our lives. Some more than others hence toxic and attaching themselves because you've been blindsided by Yes when your Yes, should have been a No. Let's be honest I'm one of them and have knocked my head more than once and maybe you too. Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew and when we get to the end of our rope, it destroys your health, your sanity and threatens marriages, family and business. In reality what happened to you? That once sold out became a drop out, the fire inside of you became low and this to whom you said Yes, sat back and watch you side tracked. You might hate saying 'No', but it could lead you on the road of feeling Powerful rather than destructive. You and I are not Superwomen and setting boundaries and saying No is a good thing. Saying no, even if its the hardest thing to do, frees me and you to saying 'Yes' to what really matters. And that's a beautiful thing. Distractions and weights are everywhere even close to home. May God give us the Courage to say 'No' to time wasters and things that are keeping us from saying 'Yes' to the Best that God has for you and me. How can you or I transform our time with God? One is by being better equipped in the word by studying the word, living out and walking the word. I came across this quote by Lysa Terkeurst, 'We must exchange whispers with God before shouts with the world.' So let us not limit God. Let's start our day our week turning it over to God. Ask God how can I be of service in my workplace, at home, on the street. Ask the Lord that whatever you do your plans your commitments that you hear His whispers his guidance before taking that leap. Let God be your attorney in the courtroom, your doctor on your sick bed, your defender in your social groups and the lifter of your head in the Market place. Let the voice of God speak for you. Let the legions of Angels be despached in and around you at your home, in your workplace in your car so you not far. Watch God during this season as He sends in help for His your Help of Ages past. Do we serve from a Spirit of love or from a grumbling complaining spirit that speaks from under our breaths if you know what I mean? Let's face it, we come across people who aren't easy to love, much less serve. You see in all walks of life you'll come across selfish people, proud people, those judgemental and those downright difficult. Now, if Jesus could do it, so can you and I, by asking God for a Servants heart. So let's challenge ourselves this week to serve others no matter how big or small and ask God to change our hearts. Let me tell you of a true story. There was a Pastor whose baby was diagnosed with cancer. The day this baby was scheduled for an operation, the father cried out to God. 'God I'm almost 30 years old, but my boy not even 3 months yet, why don't you just take some years off my life and give it to my son?' Then from deep within, he heard the voice of God say, 'I'm not like that.' When he heard that, he realized immediately that his son's sickness was not from God. He also realized there and then that if he who has faults, could want his child well, how much more his Heavenly Father. So, he changed his prayer and said, ' Father God, I come up against this sickness and I ask you for healing for my child'. That day on the operating table, the surgeons could find no trace of cancer in the child. My Father's Heart is that story a reminder to you and I to come meekly and humbly before the Lord and ask nothing fancy no eloquent words just a simple thought a simple deed. For he knows your heart sees the cries knows you better than you know yourself, that's why. God wants to see you and I happy so enter into the Garden with thanksgiving in your hearts so God gets the Glory as he imparts. Under and below the crust the surface the crevices are years of layers of unresolved issues, overlooked, swept under the carpet, silenced, not dealt with to name a few. Awe means wonder, amazement or astonishment but the Hebrew word for awe is Yirah. Translates into 'Fear of the Lord,' but can also mean respect, reverence and worship. So let's picture the Grand Canyon, the Swiss Alps, Table Mountain or the Pyramids of Giza that's the wonder, the awe, the amazement the expression and expansion of God's beauty, God's creation. Chuck Swindoll said, "We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations." Question to ponder. What good can come from trouble, from crime, from trauma, from brokenness, from any traumatic experience? Then again so time and time we hear, what good can come from gangsterism, from places and outskirts like Kyaleshiya, Mitchell's Plain, Belhar, Athlone or Lavender Hill? Trouble neither your circumstances don't define you. Its our Actions that define the Outcome. So many are blamed, looked down at, frowned at, despite them wanting to change or not. We cannot cast a stone or walk on by thinking our lives are okay. Do you know that some well known Men and Women have fallen or succumb to trouble at their door. In the Bible Jesus chose to work with those who have fallen, been in the wrong place at the wrong time, in and out of prison for theft, shoplifting, shooting, gangsterism, drugs you name it, but because of their troubled past, they too can be transformed. So trouble can be seen as your saving Grace for God to step in and do what He wants to. For Him to show you the way, his love and walk you through the steps from strange to rearrange. From distance to closeness. From losing yourself to gaining respect for yourself with Divine help along the way. A time of where you planning but things simply are not right....We've all been there and some more than others. So take deep breaths, relax and be calm in your storm. Grief affects each person differently. We say 'Good grief' meaning you surprised. Grief is a noun meaning sorrow, pain, sadness,agony. But what is grief in Hebrew? There are a few examples but these 3 stand out. Atzav, the action to grieve, Ka'as, the physical reaction from grief, such as vexation(being worried,angry,irritable,frustrated or annoyed) and Tugah, experiencing grief as a result of torment. The bible expresses and captures each person's feelings and grief be it man or woman. Eg, David was troubled and battled a deep despair. In the book of Psalms, he writes about his fear, the loneliness, the guilt, how he felt after the loss of his 2 sons. Ps. 42:11 Why so downcast, o my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Challenges no matter what big or small, significant or insignificant affects us all. But what challenges are you personally facing? Each day we face discouragement, problems from all sides from which we cannot hide, change, fear and failure are but amongst the few. However the challenges we face reminds us we are human and helps us face our weaknesses. Right now that Challenge could be a sore point, something you wish to avoid and who knows time might not be on your side however seek advice from a trusted friend. Seek God. And though at times you feel like throwing in the towel, give up, but then a word, a song, or advice from a trusted friend comes in. Ask Knock and Receive for at times others see another view of what God can do. So before you feel like quitting and giving up thank God for the challenges that draws your attention to things that needs great Spiritual effort which therefore tests your and my ability. Do you. Be you and Be Comfortable with You. So as I felt challenged this week, I thank God for His lead. Remember thst you are Special, unique and one of a kind. No where in the world is there another duplicate of you. Maybe your double but nothing of you inside. For God didn't make 2 of you, He was happy when He made you. Like King David of which you'll hear on this episode but what about Peter who denied Jesus. Today I am covering abuse a sensitive topic that affects many. Not only in women but women mostly and men too. So part one is covering the definition of abuse and the different types of abuse. Its a silent killer like heart attacks especially when we keep silent and at times because of grave circumstances you have nothing else to do but keep quiet in hoping someone else will speak up or address this violent issue. In South Africa abuse is rated and ranked as the highest in the world. So yes abuse comes in many forms and can happen to anyone. So stay tuned share Sassy Soul Sister and pass it on.
Throughout one's lifespan we are given choices. The choices we make or take at times are not pure, its filled with bad intent based on irrational thinking, brutality to harbor or inflict. Bearing in mind avoid making a choice is a choice. When I was going through a very stressful and strenuous relationship, I thought of everyone else except me. I didn't practice the 'Active Agent' in me, instead I chose the opposite. The 'Active Agent' is someone who is in charge of their behaviour, in fact you find yourself on the dark side when caught up in a highly violent attack. You loose yourself your behaviour and you not a response-able person when caught up in violence and thats a fact. I've learned not to be a passive victim of life's difficulties no matter how hard, it didn't come easy but easier with time. So right now, you have various options. You can choose to tune in, share or let this slip by or you can Choose to be proactive and Choose to take action.
Speaking of strong Women, we heard of many named and others unnamed. Others nicknamed but the bible speaks of several strong Women so here's hoping you and I fit in. A Strong Woman faithful steadfast and true is a Woman who praises other Strong Women encouraging them by lifting them up too. May this note to myself be an inspiration to you. You on the journey but know this that even strong Women run into issues too. You and I are not exempt from misunderstandings, breakdowns but through it all we have a good God who sees us through. So to all the Strong Women who come alongside me and those on my team, I appreciate and hold you in high esteem.

How many times do you say Yes, Maybe or No? You know you can run but you cannot hide. Though raging storms come and you tossed and driven aside, He knows. Perhaps you like me have run and kept on running from somebody or something, perhaps a calling of sorts but like runaway Jonah you have come to realize that you can run or hide from people and other things but you cannot run and hide from God....simply because He Knows. So if God instructed you, he will guide you, lead you, separate you from what or who can harm you. As Jonah was disobedient running away from an Instruction, at times that's you or I. Though Covid caught your attention and mine, but through it all, you got a glimpse of His Glory Divine....simply because He knows. So when the Lord speaks heed His voice and be sheltered under His wings for He knows. May this be for someone who feels like giving up today. Hopeless Helpless and Hungry...He Knows.
Have you ever been in the Company of 'Put me Downs'? Where others project their fears their anger their frustrations on you, thinking you the one and blaming you. Life is hard enough yet their are many who think out aloud, say things out aloud and repeat these negative comments out loud. Eg whilst growing up I and maybe you were constantly criticized for having a high pitch voice, a sharp nose, your laugh is ugly your legs skinny or you will mount up to nothing. Perhaps you've heard, you not good enough , or I made who you are today. Give it up. My all time favorite they lead you into thinking you going to be or end up like them. Wrong, you and only you can either give your power away or take it back by experiencing being Beautiful in Fear. Beauty in fear is confronting the very thing , situations or persons that make you feel not worthy enough, insecure, ugly and awkward. And maybe that is all you know but what does God say about you? James 1:22 says Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. The I Am declaration is Powerful. I am beautiful. I am Special. I am loved. I am forgiven I am accepted. I am noble and lovely. I am God's Precious handiwork. I am fearful and wonderfully made. I am a difference maker. I am a peacemaker. So remember whoever instills fear could be someone you know. People who feel bad or unhappy often try to make others around them feel worse. So here are a few fears I came across of which I am familiar with. Fight fear. Freeze fear. Faint fear and my all time flee fear or escape fear. Mark Twain says...Do the thing you fear the most , and the death of fear is certain. ' Thank you for tuning in to Sassy Soul Friend of God. I was taken aback to my Sunday School days of the love of the Lord. Remember this song Rock a My Soul in the bosom of Abraham. The love of God is high its wide its that kind of love that we run to when the world becomes too much or is against you or me. That love that is strong solid and oh so steadfast you see. The love that accepts that forgives that forgets that overwhelming love that unites us even though you don't see eye to eye or disagree. It is that kind of love that rules that reigns and never changes and is waiting on us to accept the invitation to come to Him, despite our faults despite our inferiority.

This is that Tale of Forbidden love that piqued my curiosity and couldn't put down. A love smitten or confused tale, but nonetheless between a beautiful Princess and a Musician who becomes King and later dumps her to begin. Not really much is said but I often wonder what Women in the Palace would have worn to entice their men for sure! Would it be a garment of Eve, a garment of deceive, a garment of Cleopatra in white and gold and so naive or a garment of Jezebel or who knows something like Victoria Secret oh do tell! Thing this they were already practicing adultery way before you and me. So, who knows: they got away with quite a lot mostly enticing and manipulation but to a point to disagree. For Women were highly esteemed and were looked down upon to the point of unfairly treated but still revered and favoured by God, used by God and mightily to say the least. For it was Delilah who enticed Sampson to the point to make him weak. Sadly to say we live in a world of a paper thin kind of love. - which says if you do what I want when I want and wear what I want , then I will say I love you.
The enemy in me is once again a heart to heart, you know that heart to heart kind of have a little talk with Jesus heart to heart. Carmelita puts herself again in that position speaking from the well of reference. One that you or I don't like to admit or deny but fond of saying who me? No way, not I. Well yes I, for if we admit that we too are the enemy within then God can help us to clean up our act , ask forgiveness and ask to help us not inherit that trait or door to allow in. There's a song that goes - And friends are friends forever if the Lord's the Lord of them. There's a quote that says 'Don't fear the enemy that Attacks you, but the Fake Friend that Hugs you.' And how many of that is going around. Secretly we all have met them sat down with them and yet in Secret they keep on putting you down. In secret they discuss sometimes good or bad but however their discussion goes it has a name tag. We all have been there including Carmelita and me, even you who can identify with snarls, excuses and sometimes the really hardest thing to accept is that its your closest friends who diss you. But lets for a moment put ourselves in someone else's shoes and what if it was reversed like in the segment you will hear today. Perhaps you and I with or without intention is the enemy or seen in that light, what then? However we must remember, like the parable in the bible of the 3 servants, each was given according to His ability. So, why do we make or become enemies when each one of us were given accordingly but what we do with it, is uniquely to master it or waste it.

I love the way Rachelle brings her point across. In all simplicity and with understanding, for I too have to search my heart and at certain points had to stop and ponder. I wrote this piece during Covid 19 . now looking back on the aftermath and its vicious cycle left behind for you and me. Yet we see a reminder of Gods goodness and graciousness that hovered during this time of Covid 19. For during this time, households were affected, but even more so Women's lives were impacted. Domestic violence was on the up ruse. Living below the belt was on the sky rise and job losses were on the incline. Society and our population was took by Surprise but even more so the many deaths decreased our population to a small size. Yet the bible foretold you and me that there would be pestilence and widespread disease but through it all, God is ruler and to this day still does foresee.
Have you ever felt out of alignment? I know I have and perhaps you too. Now you at the right place at the right time to receive this word this teaching on Alignment and Release. For we can quickly miss it and blame others our circumstances our enemies but never ourselves you see. For many of us are ignorant and quick to point finger but won't or don't want to change. So I hope that this will be the time when we ponder and ask God to reveal to you and I. For constantly God speaks God provides and God is willing and able to take you the extra mile.

Today we touching on Who is the Author? For the Bible is full of awe-inspiring writers, ordinary men and Women yet broken as can be yet wrote about the evidence they've seen. For they detailed it full of the Holy Spirit, thus they could quote 400 times, 'Thus says the Lord.' For they saw and wrote coming from first hand experiences and not their own. So I was looking at Saul and his pivotal moment of his meeting with the Lord and how God can change the hearts of humankind.

Yes we know that any loss can trigger grief and even more so during Covid 19 with heavy financial losses and pressure, people feeling unsafe and not to mention food losses and isolation but thanks be to God who is our Jehovah Jireh, our Provider who will take care of you and me. Like Tabitha who loved the Lord. She had a Servants heart for she lived her life the way that pleases God and blessed people. So how do you and I show love? How many of us want our prayers answered instantaneously but feel the urgency to rush God on when we can't wait and anticipate then no sooner give up or retaliate. If you find loneliness difficult, then you are not alone. For many of us, including myself have been lonely sometime or other. Let me tell you, you can be married yet lonely or distant. Present yet absent. Too many its a crippling experience to some the opposite. However when loneliness creeps in and settles we keep it hidden rather than admit that we suffer or hide our feelings of isolation, emptiness, despair, sorrow and anxiety. Once we brood and bottle up these painful emotions, they become toxic patterns, painful in such a way that it manifest through unhealthy symptoms of physical illness, perhaps to the extent where you sink deeper and deeper which relates to other harmful factors.

Its amazing that no matter how many times we read up on Judas, there is a new Revelation brought to light. Though this is my 2nd sequel on Judas as the 1st was 'Thd Hand That Dipped The Bread,' it brings a twist on certain principles values and morals of which when Hd walked with thd Lord, not knly was he , Judas Iscariot thd treasurer but also follower, friend and disciple. And as I was preparing myself last night for today I came across an article about why the napkin was folded and found that an interesting read, not knowing that this morning it would be part of the sermon. According to Hebrew custom, if the Master tosses his napkin on the table, then the servant can remove his plate, however if he places the folded napkin beside his plate, then he is returning, in other words, he either got up to answer his phone, open the door or got distracted somewhere, but he is returning. Likewise the folded napkin by Jesus head means, He is returning, He is coming back, so dont give up nor become despondent for Jesus is Alive and living inside you and me. Isn't it amazing how through turbulent times God sustains you. Example lets look at how Covid contributed in Gods sustainability to you and me. Church doors opened so we could fellowship, companies reopened and those who lost jobs and to our surprise, manage to improvise. Covid gave you amd and I a push to either start something, engage with others, plan or change the way we do things even change our mindsets the way we do things, look at things and the strength to push on through. So, never a burden that ye doth not carry. Never a burden that Ye does not care. Whether the day maybe be sunny or dreary, Jesus is always there So, hold onto this word shared with you today right here on Coffee Time. She was so in line of telling you and me, not to give up not to be disappointed not to throw in the towel. She encourages and inspires us to be carriers of determination just like the word which beautifully coincides. She was determined motivated and encouraged no matter how bad it looked, she set her eyes on the prize continuing gleening not moaning or asking the question like so many of us, including me- Why me, why am I here you see or you feel like giving up because of others words or deeds but read the Book of Ruth for fresh insight is given through scriptures and the answers to the very questions of why am I here? As a young girl , teenager then adulthood fear was still growing and crippling. Gratitude is one of my latest pieces written in November of how far we've come as a family, a Church, a Nation , a Country and Globally midst the unknown entry of the pandemic Covid-19. Yet through it all you and I persevered, it took lives , it took livelihoods, it took us unawares but yet God was and is still faithful. So this day be filled with gratitude of how differently things could have been for you instead. And allow the joy of gratitude to fill you.
Midst your or my day in day out challenges, indifferences, disagreements, Life is still rewarding , fulfilling and equipping you and I to take life's lemons to make lemonade and to appreciate your flaws, your imperfections and though the burden is temporary thank God for your journey. For in your situation or circumstances there is a lesson given to you and I by God. So look above. Seek his face, trust Him to see you through.
In a world where divorce and abuse is rampant, children suffer. More so when a husband or wife just up and leave. It's reality it happens to happy families. When separation hits and abuse finds its way into homes. Either children suffer, husband or wife suffer at the hands of their abuser, their attacker, their manipulator or character attacker. These are true life stories lived out by you or me. So a huge thank you to 2 formidable Women for I've been there and understand their plight, their hope and their story.
Hope is all you have in a world that for some has no reasoning. Hope is what God gives you and me when in tumultuous times or perilous times we look for the Hope in Him.
At the well of Jacob written 25/6/2019 when at a time you perhaps at the hands of a regime under manipulation, dictation, drama queen self absorbtion and victimization that going to the Well of Jacob is much better than obstruction. And so it brings you and me back to that place even today, where nothing you say or do can change the mind of an aggressor but to revisit the presence of the drink you receive at the Well of Jacobs essence.
