In this video, I'm sharing my absolute favorite team for crushing it at Splinterlands.

The Team:
| Card Name | Info | | --- | --- | | | Obsidian | Summoner, Level 6: She gives out +1 magic and is truly what makes this team so powerful. | | | Minotaur Warlord | Tank, Level 3: With magic reflect, return fire, blast, 4 melee attack and 11 health points, what's not to love?? | | | Queen Mycelia | Her amplify ability works insanely well with Minotaur, making his reflect and return fire even more powerful. Plus she has protect and triage! | | | Dr. Blight | He's got camo, affliction, poison and scavenger. This card was an investment that I'm so glad I made because he is in 90% of all my battles. Such a versatile card!! | | | Goblin Psychic | I put a tank heal in almost every battle and this one is my fav because he also has affliction and he has magic silence. Plus 2 magic attack. | | | Iza the Fanged | And last but not least: This card is so killer. I love the graphic and I love her abilities. She's got stun, scavenger, and sneak, plus 2 ranged attack. And she's fast with 4 speed! |
How I Use Them: This team needs 30+ mana to be played intact. I will swap out cards as needed but the two constants are Queen Mycelia and Dr. Blight. Iza isn't a good fit in every battle but I'm finding the more I use her the more I try to fit her in.
This team is awesome against poison because of the two scavenger cards. You could also try using the two scavenger cards with flying cards in the earthquake ruleset. But honestly, scavenger kills it in almost every ruleset.
This is a really strong team in the equalizer ruleset since they all have fairly low health other than minotaur.
Basically, I'd recommend you try this team for almost every ruleset. I win about 70-80% of the time that I'm able to use this team.

When I saw that this week's @Splinterlands battle share was a life card, my heart sunk a little bit.
Life is definitely my least favorite element.
But I pulled up my big girl pants, rented a feral spirit, and got to playing.
And I was pleasantly surprised! Sneak is my favorite ability and I actually really enjoyed playing with life.
Here's the stats for Feral Spirit:

The Chaos Legion airdrops 2 & 3 were just released and I'm LOVING Baakjira. I normally don't like zero attack cards but this whale has me changing my mind.
He's such a killer tank combined with Kelya. And with 11 mana, he stayed alive through poison for a long time. I cannot wait to see if I get more of him when I buy packs in the general sale.
At Level 3 he gets the heal ability which I think will make him unstoppable.
I can't forget to mention Dr. Blight and his scavenge or Cornealus and his heal. They're a killer combo with the poison ruleset.

This was a fun battle because Earth is my absolute favorite element and Wood Nymph has tank heal which is one of my fav abilities.
Here's her stats:
*Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: EARTH
Attack: MAGIC
Abilities: Tank Heal at Lvl 1/Strengthen at Lvl 6*
I never noticed until today how scandalous her outfit is. She's ready for a good time! 🔥🔥
I only had a level 1 Wood Nymph but she still did the job, even with low health, attack, and speed.
Her tank heal kept Minotaur Warlord alive so he could woop up on the other team with his reflect, return fire and blast.
Would I use wood nymph again? Absolutley!
Do I want her at a higher level? You're damn right I do!

In this video I'm opening 12 packs in the Hive game Rising Star.
I like this game because it's really passive which means I can click a few buttons and let it go while I'm playing Splinterlands.

The @oneup-cartel lured me in with their article all about dCrops and since I'm a sucker for Hive games I had to give it a shot.
I bought 2 Alpha packs at https://tribaldex.com/trade/DCALPHA and am really happy with what I got.

This battle was 100% won because of my two zero mana cards (that I lovingly refer to as meat shields) that I put out front.
They were the only reason I was able to attack my opponents tank. The void ability that the opponents tank had meant that my 1 magic attack just bounced right off.
And I'm so glad I threw Spirit Shaman in here too with stun.
Because of stun the tank got off very few attacks.

In phase 2 of the sale I get 8 vouchers per day. I REALLY wish I had the willpower to save them up to get the 10% pack bonus when you buy 100 packs but I just can't do it.
So here is my quick 8 pack opening for today.

Splinterlands vouchers dropped to $3.70 tonight so I did something crazy and bought 106 vouchers and 106 packs!!
I REALLY want a chance at the airdropped cards. The Splinterlands team has said most will be legendary and if they're half as good as the Untamed airdrops were they're going to be AMAZING!
Plus, I've been playing with the Chaos cards since the release date and they are so so good. I want to uplevel as many of these cards as I can.
