The holidays can be hard for many reasons. It is not uncommon for people to struggle with varying emotions that make the holidays difficult to manage. The best gifts we can give don’t have high price tags. The best gifts we can give are the ones that meet the greatest needs. The whole reason we celebrate Christmas is because of the gifts God has given us, the very gifts that meet our greatest needs.

The church is more than a person or building. The church is a movement of people that Jesus is assembling to change the world. Join us as we explore the purpose and significance of being connected to “The Church.”
There has been a lot of fascination with what takes place after death as of late, and there are a lot of theories and rabbit holes we can travel down depending on the sources we seek. In this series, we are going to explore what the Bible says about the afterlife, and address what Heaven and Hell are, who goes there, what we will be doing there, how long it lasts, and many other popular questions on the subject.
We have a divine mandate given to us from the Lord Jesus himself to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person! This month, we are highlighting world missions efforts to open our eyes to the need, the call, and the opportunities the Holy Spirit is putting before us!
It is often believed that the Bible is written from a male’s point of view, diminishing the role or importance of women in the history of God’s redemptive plan. Yet, when we look at the famous stories we see interwoven in the pages of scripture, the stories of some wonder women of the faith, without whom, we may not have ever heard of the great men of the faith we have come to revere.
We can take for granted what we believe about God, the longer we are walking in the faith. Then, sometimes an event happens or we read something that shakes us, because what we read or experience conflicts with what we thought we believed. The culture faces many issues that call into question the nature and character of God. In this series, we are going to address some of those relative issues and redeem these questionable passages by revealing the Father’s Heart.
Join us for the next 7 weeks as we seek the Lord in Fasting and prayer in 2025. The theme this year is “Endurcance.” We are asking God to help cultivate an enduring faith in us as we seek to build the Kingdom of God here in Clio!
We have been talking a lot about the Kingdom of Heaven lately, from the leaders Jesus established to train us how to minister in the Kingdom, what the Kingdom is, and why we should look forward to it and desire it with all our hearts. The most obvious question arises when we realize the Kingdom is not yet, but it is coming, even though we see glimpses of it today: What do we do now as we wait? This is the point of the most infamous sermon Jesus ever taught. Not only does HE begin it by describing who is getting into the Kingdom, the attitude of those who are inheriting the Kingdom, and the experience of those who will be inheriting the Kingdom, but how we should live every day as we wait for its arrival. Join us in this journey through the most impactful sermon ever preached, the Sermon on the Mount!
Jesus spent his whole ministry revealing the secrets of the Kingdom. Join us as we dive into the mysteries of the Kingdom and join Jesus in releasing it to the world!
Easter is one of the most celebrated Holidays in the Christian world because it is the day we celebrate Jesus’ ultimate triumph over sin and death! However, the story isn’t just about how He died. The events of the Lord’s passion and resurrection are the culmination of a story that has been played out for millennia and continues today. Listen as pastor Joey unveils the tale of two trees on Easter Sunday, 2024, at VLC!

God is restoring the ministry of the church unleashed by the power of the Spirit in Acts chapter 2. He is raising up leaders to walk in the five-fold ministry to equip the rest of the church to live out the life of Christ through His power and love. Are you one of the five-fold? Do you want to be?
Join us as we kick off 2024 with 21 days of Prayer and Fasting! During this time, we are studying together and praying through what the armor of God is and what it looks like to wear it. If you missed any of the messages, you can catch up right here or on our podcast on iTunes.
We have arrived in this day and time to unprecedented events. The prophetic clock is ticking, and we see spiritual warfare advancing on all fronts. Yet, there is a sense that we are on the cusp of the next great awakening! We believe the Spirit of God is leading us into a season of pursuing His presence and learning to yield to His presence in our gatherings. We are going to set aside “church as usual” and come together to hear from the Lord. If you are hungry for the presence of God, and Love Jesus with all your heart, join us on Sundays @ 11am!
Names are more than labels. They represent who we are and reveal who we are based on the meaning our lives infuse to them. God has many names, and each one not only acts as a label, but reveals more and more who He is, and helps us know how we can trust and pray when we go through life’s trials and challenges.
Giving is central to the Christian life, not because of religious duty, but because the heart of the Father is one of Generosity. John 3:16, begins by saying, for God so loved that He gave! Out of the heart of God is generosity! So we are called to give, that His love may continually be revealed in tangible ways. We are sorry but episode one was not recorded, however, you can follow along by catching the next episodes here!
From the triumphal entry of Jesus riding the donkey into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, to the garden, the cross, and the resurrection, the passion week has arguably had the greatest impact in the world then any other series of events. As powerful as Holy Week is, the story doesn’t end on Sunday, but continues for the next 50 days and beyond! Join us for this study in the 57 Days that changed the world!
The Last words recorded from Jesus include a prayer in John 17, where he intercedes for His church about a few things. He prays that we would be one with Him, One with Each Other, and that through our “oneness” the world would have the evidence it needs to believe Jesus is who He said He was. Due to technical difficulties episode one was not recorded, but you can catch the rest of this 3-part series below!
The Significance of the Christian faith and its impact on cultures across the world is no small thing. This is by the power of a simple message, “for God so loved (John 3:16).” Jesus continues to change hearts and lives by giving us the three necessary elements we humans need. Join us on the Journey as we discover the monumental impact of Jesus and the power of the Gospel.
