This week we are joined by Titus Broom. Titus went from being a drug dealer to getting shot up and losing his ability to walk to serving time in prison, yes in the wheelchair. Coming out of prison he went to College and earned his Bachelors in Psychology. He uses his past experiences to speak into the lives of youth that are incarcerated, in rehab, in church, a mosque or standing in a park or a store parking lot. His encouragement is not just for youth, but to all those who feel that the obstacles that often occur in life have put them on pause.

In helping lead Krispy Kreme’s successful turnaround, he said of his approach, “I wanted to be like Jesus to the employees.  They just needed someone to love on them.  That’s all I did.”

God is not done yet!” This book was written to encourage, motivate, and empower individuals to keep moving forward no matter what obstacles they face.​She is supported by her husband Mike of 19 years and has two children, Destini 20, and Isaiah 15. Growing up in the Bahamas, she understands the struggle of poverty, and the need to educate individuals on the importance of understanding their purpose.​Shenique ministers to women on a weekly basis, encourage them to follow their dreams; know who they are in Christ and stand firm on the word of GOD. She is also working with other organizations to educate and provide career training for individuals who need to get back into the workforce. Once a month, she and her team go out to feed the homeless and underprivileged families. During this time, they embrace that opportunity to share the gospel and pray with them. Her heart is set on educating, others, and taking advantage of every opportunity God provides to ensure that HE gets the glory in everything she does.

Michael Allen is Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Together Chicago. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica and immigrated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his family in 1977.  In 1986 he became a naturalized U.S. citizen.

Early in his professional career, Michael was called into ministry under the leadership of Dr. O.S. Hawkins, First Baptist Church – Ft. Lauderdale (1989). In 1997, Michael served as Assistant Pastor of Urban Outreach and Evangelism at The Moody Church in Chicago, IL . Michael also served as the Associate Pastor at Sagemont Church in Houston, TX (2002) and most recently as the Senior Pastor at Uptown Baptist Church. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the board of the Pacific Garden Mission.

Michael holds a Masters in Divinity from Trinity International University, a Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies from Trinity College – Miami, FL and an Associates in Computer Electronics.

Michael is married to Marilza from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and they have 4 children.

Mark Whitacre is an Ivy League Ph.D. and is considered the highest-ranked executive of any Fortune 500 company to become a whistleblower in U.S. history, and was responsible for uncovering the ADM price-fixing scandal in the early 1990s. For further info about Mark, go to www.markwhitacre.com.

Mark Whitacre is Executive Director of the t-factor initiative at Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. since December of 2019. Mark had served as COO of Christian Business Men’sConnection (CBMC) from 2013 to 2019. Mark was the COO and Chief Science Officer from 2006 to 2013 at Cypress Systems, Inc., a California biotechnology company where Mark still serves on their advisory board today.

After completing his B.S. and M.S. degrees at Ohio State University, Mark earned his Ph.D. degree at Cornell University in biochemistry. He worked as an executive for the following Fortune 500 companies, including Ralston Purina, Degussa (Evonik), and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). He was recruited at ADM when he was 32 as the President of the Biotech Division. Mark has extensive international business experience, having lived in Germany for four years working for Evonik at their world headquarters in Frankfurt.
