It's the RETURN of the sensational Podcast that knows its place is where you want to be: we cover fantasy football while leaving the rankings to the experts. We discuss commissioner issues, revel in our irl victory and defeats, and most importantly, I go over my own three leagues for context and inspiration, as a source of comic relief and enjoyment. Pigskin On!
Da Newsletta is not dead, and I needed to get back into this thing! The thing to look forward to in this episode, it’s towards the end when I talk about the Capitol J Championship. While we do have Big J and Championship Bound as the longest rivalry in this league, it’s fun to walk down memory lane and stir up some drama. I think I’ll throw some wrestling, Mario Kart 64, and Hamilton references. Since I’m making this summary after the fact, I think I will.
Come journey with us as we review the play of this league during the month of September through week four of the in life NFL season. Some people might get multiple awards, and some people make awards that they don’t want. Such is life. #Savage. Pigskin on; keep your trash in the dumpster.
With a Harry Potter and Pokémon reference sprinkled in, let’s take a moment to see how the skills learned in our thinking league benefit the other leagues that we play. Sound good? Pigskin on!
Yes yes y’all, we aren’t done! As long as there is fantasy football and the ability to report, there’s another Newsletta headed your way! Let’s take another look at how Madden feels a game will be decided, and review how this week turned out do not-as-expected. Pigskin On Tonight!
Every week, more and more, we get clear pictures as to the true values of the players. And where our teams stand in comparison to one another. It’s also fun to see the games played out digitally on Madden!
Big J is featured once again in our Madden Representation game. We go over the current records of our individual coaches, and I talk a little bit about the Jacksonville league that I am in. Only to remind everyone that I don’t just speak, I feel. And I feel great! Thank you Ezekiel Elliott, Terry McLaurin, Stefon Diggs, Josh Allen, and so on. Pigskin on!
Come with me as I find out that you can Absolutely ramble far past the allotted segment time. The platform will absolutely let you, and when you realize your mistake you will feel like an absolute fool. I know I did! Still, rivalry week has been set, so let’s dive into a brief history.
With one week in the books, we evaluate the start and sit decisions of the various teams, and whether or not any optimal lineups would have swayed the odds in their favor. I also go into how I wanted the Madden game to be incorporated into our fantasy league, and even have time to review my roster in one of my other leagues. Let us all rejoice that football is here!
We are back! “Heartache to heartache,” per Pat Benatar. The NFL season has commenced and this week we will see our first case of action in who knows how long (except that it was way too long). In this episode, I set the groundwork for the leagues that I’m involved in. I briefly discuss my two $100 leagues, and introduce the characters in the Next Gen Footballers Yahoo! Autodraft Extravaganza! Really, I just wanted to get this train on the tracks, and I invite you to join us!
