● Rama Setu
The setu lies between Pamban in Rameswaram to the Thallimannar in Sri Lanka is nothing but a masterpiece of brilliant engineering. The construction of the bridge is an astounding thing that the world still wonder at the knowledge & skills of our ancient engineers.
● The Golden City of Dwarka
The marine archaeological explorations confirms the existence of Dwarka at the confluence of Gomati river, which exactly conforms with the location of Krishna's Dwarka, as given in ancient texts.
● Harrapaan City Planning
Most remarkable achievements of the Harrapan people was their sophisticated city planning. Cities were laid out on precise grid system with baked bricks cut in standard sizes, unlike the simpler, irregular, sun-dried mud bricks of the Mesopotamians.
● Kallanai Dam
Built by Chola king Karikalan more than 2000 year ago, Kallanai dam is one of the oldest irrigation systems in the world that is still in use.
Built with unhewn stones spanning the dam was built with the purpose of diverting river water to the fertile delta.
● Kailasha Temple
1400 years ago, some genius engineers shaped a hill into a marvellous temple by cutting the rock from top to bottom. A thousand times more beautiful than Taj Mahal, Kailash Temple at Ellora is a gem among the all ancient Indian architectural marvels.
